Что нового
Seismica 1.7.0 — Changelog
A big update — lots of new stuff added! If you find any bugs, please report them.
New Features
Seismic Television (Beta) — A new block that plays a live earthquake news broadcast on its front face. Shows a bird's-eye terrain map of the area with the epicentre marked, expanding red shock rings, a scrolling "BREAKING NEWS" ticker, and a news-anchor scene. The picture breaks up with static during strong shaking. Crafted using a Seismic Radar. During a tsunami it switches to a colour-coded danger map (red = low ground that floods, yellow = at-risk hills, green = safe high ground).
Tsunami (Beta) — Powerful ocean earthquakes now trigger a tsunami: a wave that spreads out in all directions, floods the terrain it passes over, and recedes automatically after 3 in-game days. Wave reach and height scale with magnitude.
Seismic Damper Mk.IV — A new top-tier damper (purple), stronger and with a larger protection radius than Mk.III.
Damper overhaul:
All four tiers are now repaired/strengthened with plain iron ingots.
When a damper is destroyed it bursts with an explosion and a lantern-shatter sound whose size and pitch scale with its tier (Mk.I small/high → Mk.IV large/deep).
Broken dampers show a cracked, darkened texture.
Dampers now remember their remaining health when broken and re-placed.
Dogs sense quakes early — Wolves and tamed dogs bark and growl during the P wave, before the strong S-wave shaking arrives, as an early-warning cue.
Quake rattle sounds — Furniture and timber creak and rattle around you while the ground is shaking.
In-game beta notice — A message on world join flags the TV and Tsunami as beta features.
Balance / Tuning
Shaking duration now scales with felt intensity (MMI): small or distant quakes give a brief tremor; strong local ones last much longer, up to ~12 seconds at MMI XII.
Performance
Major optimisation of tsunami processing (roughly 3× cheaper on the server).
Fault Map and Radar screens redraw far more efficiently — the advanced Fault Map with ~100 faults no longer tanks FPS when opened.
Reduced constant network traffic from the Fault Map and Radar blocks.
Fixes
Fixed a client crash when rendering the Seismic TV (pose-stack imbalance, seen with performance mods like Embeddium/Sodium).
Fixed an OutOfMemory crash on world load caused by the tsunami saving too much flood data.
Optional Integration
MrCrayfish's Refurbished Furniture (optional) — if installed, strong quakes (MMI VIII+) knock out the power on that mod's generators. Not required.
Known Issues
The floating health-bar visual above dampers is still being worked on in the 1.21.1 build (right-click a damper to see its integrity in the meantime).

Seismica v1.6.0 — Big Update
New Commands
/seismica spawn foreshock — fires a precursor, then a larger mainshock at the same fault 10-12 minutes later
/seismica spawn aftershock — adds an aftershock beside the last mainshock
/seismica spawn micro — a single background tremor (M1.0-M2.6)
/seismica spawn natural now produces a standalone event with no precursor or aftershock sequence
Live Estimates
Every device now publishes a revised solution as the event unfolds. A first reading is badly wrong (M3.8 for what turns out to be M5.2), climbs onto the true size over the next few updates, then keeps stepping a tenth either side of it — a solution never fully locks
Magnitude, depth and located epicentre all drift and settle independently
All equipment agrees on the same published numbers; a seismograph, radar and broadcaster no longer contradict each other
Readings freeze once the shaking is over — the last published solution stays on the list instead of vanishing or continuing to age
Analysis Models
Advanced Radar can license an analysis model: Basic AI (1 diamond) or Pro AI (5 diamonds)
Pro converges faster and wanders less; Basic commits later and stays looser
Standard radars and broadcasters always run the basic model; the handheld Richter Meter is looser still, as a single-sensor pocket instrument should be
Radar Interface
Event list down the right of the scope, showing every quake on the display with its latest solution
Full MMI colour key down the left (advanced tier)
Info card in the top-left with the headline event: intensity at the epicentre, magnitude, depth, distance and position
Advanced rows carry an intensity band and depth; standard rows list magnitude and location
Audio
Distinct tones as an estimate crosses M2.5, M4.0, M5.5 and M6.5
Separate chimes for locating a new event and for each published revision
A dedicated alarm for a significant quake that arrives with no warning sequence at all — nothing in the previous 12 minutes
Heavy rumble two seconds into any M6.5+ event
Ground-cracking roar as a fault tears open
Four building-collapse variants, plus material-specific debris for stone, timber and soil
Simulation
Earthquake magnitudes now drawn from a weighted table, with the wait before each one scaled to its size — a great quake needs days of built-up stress, a small one comes around quickly
Micro-quakes run on their own clock every 10-15 minutes and never delay the scheduled events
Foreshocks scale with the mainshock they precede rather than being a token tremor
Aftershock sequences no longer collapse into a run of identical minimum-magnitude events
Depth distribution reworked; hypocentres now sit at realistic crustal depths instead of piling up near the surface
Depth matters far more to surface intensity — a shallow M7 is devastating where a deep one of the same size is merely strong
Fixes
Player movement during a quake no longer launches you across the map; jumping mid-shake is a nudge rather than a catapult
Flying players are now shaken in place instead of being skipped entirely
Animals bolt from the epicentre from MMI II upward
Radar contact lists now persist across sessions instead of clearing on world reload
/seismica stop clears queued mainshocks as well as active events
/seismica list shows the next scheduled quake's magnitude and any mainshock waiting behind a foreshock
Radar rendering rewritten — opening a scope no longer causes frame drops
Terrain map scales with radar zoom

Seismica v1.5.0
Realism
Radar intensity maps now account for hypocentre depth — a deep quake no longer displays surface intensities several levels higher than what is actually felt
All equipment now reports the same estimate for a given event. Previously a seismograph, radar and EEW station could each show a different magnitude for the same quake
Reworked intensity attenuation: the highest bands (XI, XII) now cover a visible area around the epicentre, while weak shaking spreads much further out than before
Low intensities are finally noticeable — MMI I gives a brief 0.7s tremor, MMI II about 1.5s, MMI III a light shake
Maximum hypocentre depth raised to 100
Destruction
Collapse thresholds are now set per material: cobblestone VII, stone / brick VIII, concrete IX, iron and reinforced concrete X. Mixed builds average out between them
Buildings behind the wavefront are re-checked for the duration of the shaking instead of getting a single brief chance, so structures near the epicentre no longer survive intensities that should level them
Far more probe points per pass, plus a grid sweep at high intensity, so narrow towers and thin walls are no longer missed entirely
Interface
MMI colour key down the side of the Advanced Radar scope
Facing direction indicator on all radar and fault map screens
The terrain map now scales with the radar's zoom level
Radar and fault map rendering rewritten — opening a scope no longer causes heavy frame drops

Seismica 1.4.0
1.4.019 июл. 2026 г.34Minecraft: 1.20.1forge
Что нового
Seismica 1.4.0 — What's New
New Blocks (Advanced Series):
Advanced Earthquake Radar — 2500m range, detects 2s faster, with a GlobalQuake-style estimated intensity distribution map
Advanced EEW Broadcaster — 2500m range, warns 2s earlier
Advanced Fault Map — 3000m range
Station Viewer and Advanced Station Viewer — live-lists the shaking felt at each station with estimated Mercalli intensity
Realism Improvements:
Seismograph now estimates — a single station can't know the true magnitude; it shows a rough estimate until the wave arrives, then a tighter estimate (always "estimated")
Natural earthquakes tied to faults, and the minimum magnitude is now M1
Fixed EEW range bug — now reliably detects every quake within range
Destruction System:
Stone, concrete, and brick houses now collapse (natural mountains/caves stay intact)
Reinforced concrete collapses at M7.5+
Fault ruptures now tear straight through buildings in their path
Other:
Welcome message on world join (localized)
Hold Shift for a description on every block (advanced tiers compare to the standard version)

Что нового
Seismica 1.3.0 — Fault Map & Station Viewer Update
You no longer just feel earthquakes — now you monitor them.
What's New:
Fault Map (2 tiers): Displays your world's fault lines like a real geological chart. A coloured world map backdrop with red fault lines drawn on top, station markers, and a hazard readout showing how close your block sits to a fault (Very Low → Very High). 1200-block base, 3000-block advanced range.
Station Viewer (2 tiers): Live-monitors every registered station. As waves pass, each station's reading climbs and falls in real time, alongside the estimated Mercalli intensity (I–XII). Most strongly shaken station on top. 1500-block base, 3300-block advanced range.
More realistic natural earthquakes: Every natural quake now originates along a fault line.
Welcome message on world join, full multi-language support (TR/EN).

🎮 Seismica — Update Notes
🔊 Varied earthquake sounds
No more single repeated sound — there are now two distinct variants each of the deep boom ("BOOM") and the ground thud, and a random one plays during each quake. Every earthquake sounds a little different instead of monotonous.
🌋 Continuous rumble fixed
The quake used to go "boom" and then fall silent — the continuous ground rumble wasn't playing. The sound has been rebuilt as a seamless loop (fade removed), it now starts earlier and reliably, and plays louder. You'll hear the deep underground roar throughout the whole earthquake.
🚨 EEW alert tone replaced
The early-warning alarm is changed
🌊 Tsunami water cleanup
The thin wall of water already erases itself as it advances, but as a guaranteed final cleanup: one in-game day after a tsunami starts, all of its water blocks are force-removed — no water is ever left behind flooding the world.
