### 1.2.0 Added a Simplified Chinese (`zh_cn`) translation by Notalway. It covers all entities, blocks, items, death messages, advancements, effects, tooltips, JEI descriptions, and the difficulty screen.

### 1.1.0: Difficulty selection Choose Normal or Extreme when you first join a world. Extreme keeps the previous behavior; Normal reduces the pressure. The choice is saved per world, survives restarts, and cannot be changed afterward. On servers, the first player chooses for everyone. Normal adjusts more than 30 settings: - Corruption spreads at half speed. - The parasite limit is 20 per player, compared with 30 on Extreme. - Adaptive AI, enemy block breaking, and extra spawns on parasite death are disabled. - Iron golems cannot be infected. - Parasites have 70% health and 75% damage. - Infection recovery is three times faster, and environmental air damage is halved. - Outbreaks have 3–5 waves instead of 5–10. - Meteors arrive later and less often. Bosses are rarer and take longer to respawn. - Blood moons are less intense. Broodmothers spawn fewer children, less often. Moved previously hardcoded values into the config system, adding more than 25 fields to `ParasitesConfig`. Meteor timing, outbreak sizes, boss spawn rates, blood-moon multipliers, environmental damage, and entity stats can now be configured per difficulty.

First release of Project Parasites. - Added meteors that spread corruption through four phases. - Added nine parasite creatures across three tiers and nine infected variants of vanilla mobs. - Parasites learn player combat patterns, coordinate in swarms, and detect noise. - Added a four-stage infection system. - Added hazmat armor, a flamethrower, a scanner, and other countermeasures. - The Corruption Purifier can deactivate meteor cores. - Added blood moons and outbreak events. - All settings are available in the config file.
