# Release 8.0.25 - JEI HotFix
### Changed:
- The game now refuses to start when the obsolete **BCCE Localizations** addon is installed alongside BCCE. Translations have been included in the main mod since 8.0.24, so the separate addon is no longer needed.
### Fixed:
- Fixed a **JEI crash on Minecraft 1.19.2 and 1.20.1 Forge** caused by incorrect Assembly Table recipe comparisons when refreshing Facade recipes. This could cause the game to crash shortly after joining a world.

# Release 8.0.24 — Drill me to the moon
I want to present the results of three weeks of work. This is probably the biggest update I've released so far.
BuildCraft Community Edition now supports Minecraft versions up to 26.3, and API v2.1 introduces a major expansion that almost completely eliminates the need for addon developers to rely on BCCE's internal classes.
This update also restores missing content, integrates translations directly into the main mod, and fixes numerous bugs, most of which were edge cases or potential issues.
### Changes:
* Added **support for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3**.
* Extended the **API.v2 to v2.1**, a major expansion for addon developers. Addons can now create custom pipe flows and behaviors, introduce new Robot Board programs, and integrate more deeply with engines, machines, world interactions and Blueprint libraries. The shared API also makes addons easier to maintain across supported Minecraft versions and mod loaders.
* Translations are now included directly in the main mod. The separate BCCE Localizations addon is no longer required or supported.
* Added missing crafting and conversion recipes for **Diamond, Diamond Wooden, Gold, Iron, Quartz and Sandstone FE Pipes**. These pipes can now be made from their MJ equivalents and converted back.
* Restored **original BuildCraft-style fluid flow animation in pipes**. Liquids now visibly flow through the pipes instead of appearing stationary.
* **Fluid Pipes now emit light when carrying glowing liquids**. The light changes as fluid enters or leaves the pipe.
* Expanded **Paintbrush** support for beds, banners, shulker boxes and sign text. Recoloring preserves stored contents and block orientation, and both halves of a bed change together.
* Restored the intended **Volume Box controls**. The Volume Box item creates an area, while the Marker Connector edits and removes it. The Guide Book now explains these controls and the Filler Planner more clearly.
* Improved **sound feedback** for pipes, tanks, machines, fluid transfers and switches, including more appropriate placement and breaking sounds.
### Fixes:
* Fixed **items in pipes** briefly freezing, snapping back to the center, leaving ghost images or not appearing when a pipe first comes into view.
* Fixed **robot recharging**. Robots low on power can seek an available charging station instead of getting stuck at an unpowered home station. The Wake Up action also works at the station where a robot is charging.
* Fixed items bouncing endlessly through blocked pipe routes or being lost when a pipe cannot drop them into the world.
* Fixed rotating pipes sometimes leaving incorrect connections, including broken wire connections, and several crashes involving travelling items.
* Fixed **wire networks** showing missing sections in large multiplayer builds or reloading their connections in the wrong order.
* Fixed items being transferred back into the same inventory when a machine exposes that inventory on multiple sides.
* Fixed **Fluid Pipes** crashing, losing fluid or accepting incorrect amounts when connected machines report invalid transfers. Fluid distribution now handles large transfers more reliably.
* Fixed **Tank columns** incorrectly connecting different fluids, loading incorrect amounts after a restart, or slowing down heavily in large installations.
* Fixed **Tanks** showing incorrect fluid amounts in machine interfaces or giving the wrong Redstone Comparator signal when holding large volumes.
* Fixed **Pumps** following outdated fluid paths, incorrectly preserving water sources, or trying to work in unloaded areas.
* Fixed **Heat Exchangers** having broken interfaces after rebuilding, problems near unloaded areas, or rotation affecting protected blocks. They now correctly display special fluids from other mods and no longer cause a dedicated-server crash when generating particles. **Distillers** also no longer lose energy already spent when processing is interrupted.
* Fixed **Combustion Engines** consuming fuel incorrectly, losing part of a fuel burn or mixing different fuel types.
* Fixed **Stone Engines** still showing power output after running out of fuel or overheating. Restored the **Free Power** advancement for generating MJ with a Redstone Engine.
* Fixed **MJ and FE energy transfers** wasting power when a receiving machine can accept only part of it. Engines now avoid output connections that cannot receive power, and Creative Engine settings survive reloads.
* Fixed naturally generated **oil springs** sometimes failing to start flowing, oil generation overwriting machines or other blocks containing saved data, and oil deposits generating incorrectly when multiple dimensions were loaded.
* Fixed **Water Gel** spreading into protected areas or causing severe lag. It is no longer consumed when placement fails.
* Fixed **Blueprint construction** placing entities in the wrong locations, treating unrelated entities as completed work or leaving partially placed blocks after a failed operation. Rotated Blueprints can no longer damage their own Builder.
* Fixed **Builders** treating blocks with the wrong sign text, banner patterns or custom names as already completed when following a Blueprint.
* Fixed **Builders and Fillers** losing saved jobs, reserved materials or excavation settings after reloads or temporary interruptions. Disabling excavation now also stops digging work that was already queued, and Template Builders correctly notice changes to nearby blocks.
* Fixed failed **Architect Table** saves producing unusable Blueprints and incorrect progress calculations for extremely large areas.
* Fixed several **machines losing partially completed work** when the world is saved and reloaded.
* Fixed the **Assembly Table** hiding recipes beyond the first twelve, **Advanced Crafting** failing to notice newly available ingredients, and **Assembly and Integration Tables** using outdated recipes or mishandling special ingredients. **Auto Workbenches** also no longer crash on custom recipes without ingredients.
* Improved **JEI compatibility**. Addon recipes, fuels, wires, lenses and Facades display more reliably. Machine recipes now refresh after switching servers or reloading data instead of showing outdated results, and JEI no longer crashes when starting before a world is loaded.
* Improved **Jade compatibility**. Large inventories now cycle through all their items instead of hiding later slots, energy readings no longer count the same storage several times, and fluid names remain visible when fluid amounts are hidden.
* Fixed **Gate Copier** settings not saving correctly or applying rules that the destination Gate cannot use.
* Fixed **Gates** misreading inventory space, item counts or fluid levels, especially with restricted slots and multiple tanks. Missing engine power-stage options have been restored, and Gate crafting no longer consumes unrelated ingredients.
* Fixed **robots** teleporting, skipping waypoints or causing server freezes while trying to navigate blocked areas.
* Fixed **Robot Docks** ignoring request priorities, accepting unwanted items or leaving broken station links and reservations after changing stations or reloading the world. Robots now respect station restrictions set by zones and Gates.
* Fixed **Delivery Robots** choosing the wrong items when requests allow multiple matches or use custom filters.
* Fixed **robots** duplicating or losing items when inventory transfers fail. Tool collection and item loading or unloading now respect which sides of an inventory permit access, and unbreakable tools are no longer dropped after an unsuccessful use.
* Fixed **fluid-carrying robots** giving up when a destination pipe is temporarily full or another usable tank remains available.
* Fixed the **Zone Planner** map staying gray after nearby terrain loads or failing to retry interrupted requests. **Volume Boxes** can also be edited again after reconnecting, their outlines behave more reliably near unloaded terrain, and creating or editing them now respects protected areas.
* Fixed large **Guide Book**, Zone Planner, Volume Box and Electronic Library updates sometimes failing in multiplayer.
* Fixed long **Map Location** paths disappearing when their endpoints were far away, even if the path passed near the player.
* Fixed **middle-click selection** choosing the pipe instead of an attached Facade, Lens, Gate or Wire. Painting an installed Facade now targets the Facade more reliably.
* Fixed excessive **Fluid Shard** drops and improved compatibility with **IC2 fluid cells** and **Forestry / Propolis Pipes**, including item loss and crashes involving invalid bee data.
* Improved performance in large installations by reducing unnecessary work from idle Quarries and Fillers, repeated oil searches, Assembly Tables, Lasers and Path Markers.

* Added **support for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3**.

* Improved **JEI compatibility**. Addon recipes, fuels, wires, lenses and Facades display more reliably. Machine recipes now refresh after switching servers or reloading data instead of showing outdated results, and JEI no longer crashes when starting before a world is loaded.

# Release 8.0.22 - Create compat and some fixes
### Added:
- Added Create potion fluid compatibility. Potion bottles can now be used directly as filters in Diamond Fluid Pipes, and different potion fluids are distinguished correctly.
### Changed:
- Improved Tank displays for connected columns and special fluids. The Tank GUI and Jade now show the contents of the whole connected Tank column and correctly display potion names, strength and duration.
- Improved fluid rendering in pipes and Tanks, including correct colors for fluids such as Create potions and cleaner rendering between connected pipes.
### Fixed:
- Fixed Wooden Engines powering Wooden Item Pipes too frequently. Item extraction now follows the engine piston cycle again, preventing transported items from bunching together after slowing down.
- Fixed engine piston animation getting out of sync with the engine's actual working speed, especially at higher temperatures.
- Fixed transported items briefly freezing, jumping or leaving a duplicate image when passing through pipe centers or between connected pipes.
- Fixed items reaching an open pipe end moving back toward the pipe center instead of being dropped into the world.
- Fixed dead-end Item Pipes sending items back through the pipe network instead of ejecting them.
- Fixed JEI loading hundreds of thousands of Facade variants, which could cause extremely long loading times. Facade recipes can still be looked up normally.
- Fixed connected Tank columns sometimes leaving liquids or gases in the wrong Tank instead of fully settling to the bottom or top, including after loading a world.
- Fixed Tank fluid displays not updating correctly when the stored fluid changed without the amount changing.
- Fixed the Quarry sometimes leaving magma blocks behind when mining underwater beneath bubble columns.
- Restored the Quarry picking up nearby dropped items while mining, matching the original BuildCraft behavior.
- Fixed crashes caused by fluids from other mods failing to provide a valid texture. BuildCraft now uses a fallback texture instead of crashing.

# Release 8.0.16
### Changes:
- Improved **item pipe hand-off reliability**. Items travelling through connected pipes now retry temporary hand-off failures instead of being dropped into the world, preventing cargo loss in otherwise valid pipe networks, especially at high speeds such as Golden Item Pipes.
- Reworked **fluid-container handling** to consistently use the container's own fluid handler and resulting container state. BuildCraft fuel buckets, vanilla and modded buckets, and fragile fluid containers now behave consistently across direct machine interaction and GUI transfers.
### Fixes:
- Fixed **Combustion Engine fluid-container interactions**. BuildCraft fuel buckets and fragile fuel containers are now consumed correctly in Survival, empty buckets are returned properly, and direct interaction no longer leaves the original filled container behind.
- Fixed **Combustion Engine GUI fluid transfers**, including cases where inserting BuildCraft fuel could delete the bucket instead of returning an empty one.
- Fixed **Combustion Engine shift-click handling** using raw player-inventory indices instead of menu-slot indices, which could move or replace the wrong item.
- Improved fluid transaction safety. Player inventory and GUI state are now committed before fluid sounds are played, preventing cosmetic sound failures from causing duplicated, deleted, or desynchronized fluid containers.
- Fluid sounds are now non-fatal. Missing or broken third-party fluid sound providers fall back to vanilla bucket sounds instead of aborting an already completed fluid transfer.
- Fixed **Jade compatibility issue #44** on Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge. A broken third-party mixin affecting Jade's `FluidView` can no longer crash the server when placing, looking at, or opening fluid-capable BuildCraft machines such as the Combustion Engine. BuildCraft now safely disables the affected Jade fluid view instead.
- Fixed **Quarry fluid detection** so standalone fluids are correctly distinguished from waterlogged blocks. Water and other low-viscosity standalone fluids remain traversable, high-viscosity fluids remain barriers, and waterlogged solid blocks are still mined as normal blocks.
- Fixed Quarry chunk-loading initialization so chunk loading only starts once both the frame and mining areas are fully initialized, avoiding invalid half-configured Quarry states.
- Fixed packet ID allocation for the **Electronic Library, Distiller, and BC8 Distiller** by exposing their correct child packet allocators, preventing payload IDs from being validated against the wrong allocator.
- Fixed the **Facade Swap recipe on Minecraft 1.19.2** being exposed as a generic recipe instead of a crafting recipe, restoring correct recipe classification and compatibility with crafting-related systems.

# Release 8.0.15 - HotFix
### Changes:
- Restored the original **BuildCraft 8 Quarry fluid behavior**. Water and other low-viscosity fluids remain passable, while lava, heavy oil, and other high-viscosity fluids now act as barriers and prevent the Quarry from mining blocks underneath them.
- The Quarry now periodically checks already excavated areas and can detect **new blocks placed inside the quarry after the drill has already passed through that area**.
### Fixes:
- Fixed **bucket and other fluid-container interactions with BuildCraft machines** on both Forge and NeoForge.
- Fixed an issue where a fluid container rejected by a machine could continue its normal use action and **place fluid directly into or through the machine block**, potentially destroying the machine.
- Fixed fluid-container handling in Survival when the item's capability replaces its container during a fluid transfer.
- Fixed **Quarry** stalls caused by stale frame-breaking tasks when the target block disappeared, was broken by a player, another Quarry, or another world update.
- Fixed cases where the Quarry could permanently lose a block-breaking task and stop displaying the corresponding **red laser**.
- The Quarry can now correctly clear frame obstacles that cannot be harvested with its default tool instead of retrying the same block indefinitely.
- Fixed the **Quarry drill head and upper drill section disappearing** when processing fluids or other blocks with empty geometry.
- Improved cleanup of stale denied Quarry positions so outdated entries no longer block further operation after the world state changes.

# Release 8.0.14 — New Horizons
### Changes:
* Replaced the previous addon-facing Java API with **BuildCraft API 2**. The new loader-neutral API covers transport, MJ and external energy, machines, lasers, gates and statements, wires and signals, automation, robots, requests, schematics, builders, facades, lists, map items, and other extension points. The old Java API has been removed, so addons must migrate to `buildcraft.api.v2`.
* Added full **Forge Energy compatibility**. The new FE Engine converts FE into BuildCraft MJ, while the MJ Dynamo converts MJ into FE. Nine FE pipe variants have also been added for extraction, transport, connection control and configurable transfer limits. The default conversion ratio is **1 MJ = 10 FE**.
* Added configurable MJ/FE compatibility modes. BuildCraft can retain classic MJ-only behavior or allow ordinary machines and engines to automatically interact with Forge Energy systems. Power displays can also be configured to use either per-tick or per-second units.
* Discontinued **Minecraft 1.21.1 Forge** support. The maintained targets are now Minecraft 1.19.2 Forge, Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge and Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge.
* Restored the original-style terrain preview on the **Zone Planner** itself. Its front display now shows a small local map of the surrounding terrain using already available client chunks without making remote map requests.
* Expanded **Jade compatibility**. Jade can now display robot ownership, native MJ and FE storage, engine output, and live throughput versus capacity for MJ, FE and fluid pipes.
* Added configuration options for **Stirling Engine explosions** and **facades**. Stirling Engine explosions are disabled by default. Facades can be disabled without invalidating existing facades already present in a world.
* Expanded and corrected the **Guide Book** to cover API 2-era behavior, FE compatibility, the FE Engine, MJ Dynamo and FE pipes, as well as current machine, transport, configuration and automation mechanics.
* Map Locations, Single Schematics, Blueprints and Templates now stack up to **16 while empty** and become unstackable once they contain saved data.
* Extended the wire API with addon-facing signal ports. Addon blocks can now connect directly to BuildCraft wires, publish their own signal and receive the final signal from the wire network.
### Fixes:
* Reworked resource handling for **Builders, Fillers, Quarries and construction tasks**. Items, fluids and MJ are now reserved transactionally, failed or cancelled work is rolled back safely, and pending refunds survive reloads even when inventories, tanks or batteries are temporarily full.
* Improved blueprint compatibility with missing addons. Unknown block and entity schematic elements are now preserved losslessly, including their opaque data. Builders skip elements that cannot currently be restored instead of repeatedly retrying them forever, while the blueprint reports that some content is unavailable.
* Extended owner-aware permission handling to **robots, Stripes Pipes, Pumps, Flood Gates, Mining Wells and other automated world operations**. Simulation and execution checks now occur before destructive actions, and NeoForge automation uses the native fake-player implementation for better compatibility with protection mods. Ownership remains an execution identity rather than an access lock, so other players can still interact with, break or move another player’s machines and robots.
* Hardened network handling across machine GUIs, the Zone Planner, Guide Book, Assembly Table, compatibility integrations and construction data. Packet sender, direction, active menu, interaction distance and payload bounds are now validated, while caches and large snapshot transfers are bounded and snapshot requests are rate-limited.
* Improved **Auto Workbench** reliability. Failed crafts safely return reserved ingredients, conflicting recipes with identical inputs can be selected explicitly and remain selected after reloads, and external automation can no longer extract phantom blueprint or material-filter slots as free items.
* Improved **Assembly Table and Integration Table** automation. Recipe state is preserved correctly, dynamic outputs are scheduled fairly, overlapping ingredients cannot reserve the same stack twice, ingredient extraction is transactional, and result slots expose the correct extraction-only behavior.
* Fixed item transfer transactions when inventories change between simulation and execution. Transfers now track the actual remainder through every slot and roll back safely instead of duplicating items, losing items or crashing the server tick.
* Improved **item pipe** transport and networking. Inventory insertion now reports the amount actually accepted, transfer charging remains correct when handlers change unexpectedly, travelling items interpolate more reliably on the client without leaving permanent ghosts, and multiple pipe changes can be batched into fewer network updates.
* Improved **fluid pipes**. The Diamond Wooden Fluid Pipe now performs proper round-robin distribution, delayed-fluid transport state survives chunk reloads, forced extraction no longer leaves stale internal accounting that can jam a pipe, and fluid rendering is more consistent.
* Improved **MJ and FE pipe persistence**. Kinesis Pipe current and queued MJ buffers now survive chunk unloads and server restarts, while FE buffers are capacity-limited, saved correctly and only accept energy when the network has real demand.
* Fixed several **tank** edge cases that could mix incompatible fluids or effectively transmute one fluid into another. Empty bridge tanks can no longer join vertical tank columns containing incompatible fluids.
* Fixed **Heat Exchanger** processing to respect recipe input amounts, heat transitions and output ratios. Combining exchanger sections also preserves compatible stored fluids instead of silently deleting them.
* Improved **Pump and Flood Gate** scanning so fluid searches do not synchronously load unloaded chunks. Pump shafts stop safely when obstructed instead of overwriting unrelated blocks, Flood Gates correctly traverse and replace flowing fluids, and breaking either machine no longer duplicates stored fluid drops.
* Improved **Stripes Pipe** world interactions. Block placement and breaking now use the proper handlers and permission paths, paid breaking progress is tied to the exact target block and survives reloads, stale deferred requests are refunded safely, and entity interactions correctly consume the working item when the action succeeds.
* Improved **robot behavior** around tools, inventories and world changes. Duplicate tool durability consumption has been removed, sugar cane harvesting works correctly on Minecraft 1.21.1, searches recover safely after reloads, station extraction respects sided inventory rules, and dropped-item reservations use stable dimension and entity identities.
* Improved **Bomber Robot** safety. TNT is not consumed unless the operation is permitted and the potential explosion area remains inside the robot’s allowed work zone.
* Fixed **Requester** automation so external insertion cannot exceed the configured request amount. Comparator output now represents fulfillment relative to the requested quantity and reaches full strength when the request is completely satisfied.
* Improved engine compatibility and rendering. The **FE Engine and MJ Dynamo** now follow their intended sided energy rules, chaining and orientation behavior, MJ Dynamo rotation updates correctly when its surroundings change, and their piston animations interpolate smoothly. Engine model data is also refreshed correctly after wrench rotation.
* Fixed **Combustion Engine residue** handling so fuel cannot continue being consumed when the visible residue tank has no room for the resulting residue.
* Fixed external automation access to the **Iron Engine** fluid tanks, including exposed capacities and fluid validation.
* Improved marker, laser and volume rendering. Large marker boxes no longer fade into the sky because of terrain fog, cached markers survive client render-distance unloads without leaving permanent broken connections, and lasers or volume boxes are not rendered through unloaded terrain.
* Restored the dedicated **Path Marker** connection laser and improved pipe, pump, LED and engine rendering. The Pump now visibly renders the fluid being pumped, several pipe UV and sprite issues have been corrected, and travelling pipe contents no longer flicker or remain as client-side ghosts.
* Fixed **JEI** recipe presentation for pipes and Assembly Table recipes, including recipe identity handling on Minecraft 1.21.1. Facade recipe visibility now follows the facade configuration consistently across supported versions.
* Fixed compatibility with **Randomium** in large modpacks. BuildCraft facade variants are excluded from Randomium's item scan, preventing the severe world creation and joining slowdown caused by scanning thousands of facade variants.
* Fixed additional **Forestry Community Edition / Propolis Pipe** compatibility issues.
* Fixed **Water Gel** progression and harvesting. Growth now follows `randomTickSpeed` consistently, and Water Gel only drops from the fully solidified stage.
* Fixed invalid oil-generation whitelist entries potentially disabling oil generation entirely.
* Fixed vertically oriented BuildCraft blocks when placed by automation without a real player, including orientation calculations for automated placers.
* Spectators are now enforced as read-only by the server in BuildCraft GUIs, including normal slots, phantom slots, custom machine buttons and packet-driven interactions.
* Improved performance in large transport and construction setups through bounded model and geometry caches, cached pipe capability lookups, optimized Quarry collision tracking, faster idle Builder processing, more efficient laser rendering and reduced unnecessary wire synchronization.

# Release 8.0.12 — Rebuilt to Last
### Changes:
* Added a new in-game **Guide Book** that brings together information about BuildCraft mechanics, machines, pipes, robots, and construction systems. The guide now includes hints and improved navigation, remembers the last opened page, and supports scrolling for long names.
* Expanded compatibility with **Forestry Community Edition**: added the Propolis Item Pipe, restored the related recipes and JEI interfaces, and improved how BuildCraft lists and filters handle Forestry items.
* Robots and automated machines now perform actions on behalf of their owner. This allows them to interact more reliably with server-side area protection systems and respect the player’s access permissions.
* Improved robot behavior when they run out of power: they can now return to their station instead of remaining idle. A station can also be cleared by using a wrench while holding `Shift + RMB`.
* Reworked recipe display in **JEI**: restored interfaces styled after the original BuildCraft, while the many variants of facades, lenses, filters, and gate components are now grouped for easier browsing. Built-in recipe books have also been added to the Advanced Crafting Table and Auto Workbench.
* Rebalanced energy costs for laser table recipes: Assembly Table operations now require half as much energy, while Integration Table costs have been reduced by a factor of five. This makes laser-based progression less time-consuming.
* Combustion Engine heating now depends on biome temperature, making the surrounding environment more relevant to the engine’s cooling requirements.
* Reworked the configuration system: settings are now applied correctly, while obsolete and unused options have been removed.
* Moved additional translations into the separate **BuildCraft Localization Addon**, allowing localizations to be developed and updated independently from the main mod.
* Updated the BuildCraft network protocol. The client and server must use the same 8.0.12 build.
### Fixes:
* **Zone Planner** now operates only within generated and currently available chunks, without loading or generating new ones. Selected zones and imported maps are automatically trimmed to the available chunks, after which the server validates the result again to prevent modified clients from bypassing these restrictions.
* Significantly improved **power pipe** stability: fixed energy loss, incorrect distribution between multiple consumers, numeric overflows, and division by zero. The number of unnecessary network updates has also been reduced.
* Improved **item pipes**: identical item stacks are merged more efficiently, the number of network packets has been reduced, and internal numeric overflows have been eliminated. This reduces network load and improves the stability of large transport systems.
* Fixed **fluid pipes**: their contents are now saved correctly, volumes above 32,767 mB no longer overflow, and interactions with fluid storage from other mods once again use the correct interface.
* Fluid transfers in pipes, pumps, robots, and construction systems are now transactional: fluid is first extracted from the source, and any amount that cannot be accepted is returned. This prevents the main causes of fluid duplication and loss.
* Data belonging to unknown pipes and pluggable components is no longer deleted when the add-on responsible for them is temporarily unavailable. Saved components are restored after the add-on is installed again.
* **Engines** now transfer stored energy continuously and no longer depend on the piston reaching the midpoint of its animation. Double energy consumption has been eliminated, while temperature, direction, operation progress, and internal energy storage are now preserved correctly when the world is reloaded.
* Fixed **Combustion Engine** behavior with coolant and in non-standard biomes. The engine once again explodes upon reaching a critical temperature; other engine types are not affected by this change.
* **Builders, Fillers, and construction robots** no longer destroy collected items. Resources are first returned to the machine, then transferred into an adjacent inventory or pipe, while any remaining excess is dropped nearby.
* Construction machines now correctly preserve active tasks across restarts and return unused items, fluids, and energy when a task is cancelled. Blueprint handling for pipes, fluids, and waterlogged blocks has also been fixed.
* Builder and Filler now reach full speed at approximately 50% battery charge. The Filler circle pattern has been fixed, Builder rendering has been optimized, and clear error messages have been added for blueprints containing invalid registry identifiers.
* **Quarry** now correctly restores chunk loading and its current task after a restart, and properly handles coordinates, lava, viscous fluids, and waterlogged blocks. The Quarry also no longer collects items that were already lying nearby before a block was broken.
* **Mining Well** no longer gets stuck on water sources or flowing water and can continue drilling through them.
* Fluid searches performed by the **Pump** and **Flood Gate** are now distributed across multiple ticks, preventing large lakes and oil deposits from causing prolonged freezes or excessive memory usage. Changing the active sides of a Flood Gate now resets its previous route, and the new state is saved correctly.
* Pump and Mining Well searches through pipe columns are now limited by world height and require an uninterrupted pipe chain. This prevents potentially infinite world scanning.
* Robots no longer destroy reusable tools with infinite durability after using them. Their filters, permission checks, and fluid transfers have also been fixed for situations where the world state changes between operation simulation and actual execution.
* Fixed oil generation: corrected the minimum deposit height and the handling of chunk borders, neighboring areas, and non-standard biomes. Unsafe shared caches that could cause freezes during world generation have been removed.
* Water no longer replaces oil or fuel during fluid updates in oceans and reservoirs. Pumps now fill their tanks only with the amount of fluid that was actually removed from the world, except for intentionally infinite water sources.
* Using an empty container in Creative Mode no longer removes fluid from a tank.
* Closed a vulnerability that allowed blocks belonging to other players to be modified remotely through network packets. The server now validates the distance to the block, chunk availability, and the player’s permission to interact with it.
* Added limits for large packets, construction snapshots, NBT data, and network caches. Netty buffer leaks, network messages registered on the wrong side, and stack trace spam caused by malformed packets have also been fixed.
* **Heat Exchanger** now synchronizes all parameters, displays the actual tank capacities, and correctly handles clicks on each individual tank.
* **Auto Workbench and Distiller** now correctly preserve stored energy and operation progress. When an operation is interrupted, resources are returned without loss or duplication, and the machines no longer trigger unnecessary chunk saves every tick.
* Filter Lens now reliably blocks items of the wrong color, while fluid filters, gate components, and robot station filters correctly respect their configured conditions.
* Improved Guide Book stability when handling invalid and dynamically generated recipes from other mods.
* Facade scanning is no longer interrupted by a single invalid block state. Invalid states are safely excluded, while repeated messages are combined into a single warning.
* Fixed texture atlas reloading issues and improved compatibility with Oculus, as well as with IC2 Classic versions used in older modpacks.
* Fixed the Quarry frame and drill models and textures, drill collision, and the Construction Marker model. Old “ghost” marker frames are now removed correctly.
* Fixed slot positioning in the Filler interface, middle-click copying and selection of pipe components, duplicate drops from wires and pluggable components, and excessive fluid network cache spam in the log.

Release 8.0.2 - Big Fix update
====
Fixed:
- №1 error:
1) MenuBC_Neptune no longer touches Minecraft, Now ContainerLevelAccess is created through: playerInventory.player.level.
2) Separated the common menu registry and the client screen registry.
3) Removed ModelResourceLocation from BCModules. BCModules is an API/common enum, it cannot depend on client-only model classes.
4) Removed the client particle/render logic from the BlockPipeHolder.
5) Removed the common registration of the client tooltip event. BCBuilders had: modEventBus.addListener(ClientModEvents::onGatherTooltipFactory); This referenced the client event from the common constructor. I removed it, but the method made @SubscribeEvent normal inside the client subscriber.
- №2 error: added defence, now, if the custom ray trace has not found a sub-hit, the server does not crash on t.subHit.
- №4 error: Pipe GUI factory no longer returns null, a secure dummy menu is now created if the client has not found pipe/tile/behavior.
- №5 error: ContainerBCTile has removed the direct cast, that is, if BE has already been deleted or the wrong type, container does not fall on cast/NPE
- №6 error: Non-player placement / unknown owner. TileBC_Neptune#onPlacedBy no longer throws: IllegalArgumentException("Not an Player!"). If the owner cannot be determined, fallback is set: FakePlayerProvider.NULL_PROFILE and the ownership ledger now displays: Unknown owner
- №7 error: Player -> ServerPlayer casts: replaced direct casts with safe checks.
- №8 error: MessageContainer is now handled through ctx.enqueueWork(...). throw new Error(e) has been replaced with a warning + packet drop. Added payload size limits and readableBytes() checks. MessageUpdateTile no longer throws RuntimeException outside the packet handler.
- №9 error: Negative/huge/corrupted count values should no longer cause NegativeArraySizeException, OOM, or reads beyond the buffer.
- №10 error: Fixed the GUI issue where BCCoreBlocks.ENGINE_BC8 was checked instead of the actual block.
- №11 error: VolumeBoxes are now applied through enqueueWork. Minecraft.getInstance().level != null is now checked. Corrupted volume-box payloads no longer crash the client. Powered wire updates no longer crash if the base WireSystem has not arrived yet. In MessageMultiPipeItemClientHandler, replaced return with continue so that one empty pipe no longer breaks the entire batch. TileQuarry now loads currentTaskId/currentTaskData instead of the incorrect currentTask key.
- №13 error: Snapshot / blueprint packets are now handled through ctx.enqueueWork(...). NBT/snapshot packet errors no longer throw a raw RuntimeException. Added a compressed snapshot payload size limit. Client-only ClientSnapshots logic has been moved into a dedicated client handler.
- №14 error: Quarry no longer crashes with IllegalStateException when receiving corrupted frameBox/miningBox data. Invalid quarry boxes are now safely reset. Added extra protection against invalid task ids in quarry render packets.
- №15 error: TileFiller no longer sends NET_RENDER_DATA every tick. Added render sync throttling once per 10 ticks. Direct AddonFillerPlanner casts have been replaced with safe instanceof checks. Non-filler addons in the volume slot are now ignored without ClassCastException.
- №16 error: GUI stillValid checks were improved with a shared BCMenuUtil.stillValidBlock(access, player, expectedBlock) helper. It verifies that access is valid, the block at the position is still the expected one, and the player is not farther than 8 blocks.
