AutoAim - Smooth and accurate targeting!

AutoAim makes tracking targets smoother and easier, with adjustable aim assistance and simple in-game controls.

✨ Features

  • Smooth aim assistance:
    • Track moving targets while keeping aim attached during small mouse adjustments.
    • Choose Low, Medium, or High strength.
  • Follow Camera:
    • Keep your view focused on the selected target.
    • Enable or disable camera tracking independently from automatic movement.
  • Walk After Mob:
    • Automatically approach the targeted mob and stop nearby.
    • Manual movement takes priority.
    • Basic obstacle, jump, and unsafe-drop checks support direct movement. Complex pathfinding is not included.
  • Next Target:
    • Automatically search for another eligible target after a kill.
    • Disable it to choose the next target yourself.
    • Manually releasing aim does not trigger a new search.
  • Separate detection angles:
    • Adjust initial targeting and after-kill searches independently from 1–360°.
    • Detection Angle: 180° by default, covering the front of your view.
    • Next Angle: 360° by default, searching in all directions.
  • Projectile prediction:
    • Target movement prediction and projectile-drop compensation for bows and charged crossbows.
    • Bow charge adjustment, with active bow use required by default.
    • Loaded crossbows remain eligible while ready to fire.
  • Melee and empty-hand support:
    • Swords, axes, spears, tridents, and maces.
    • A separate toggle for empty-hand assistance.
    • Other held items can be enabled independently.
  • Five target priorities:
    • Crosshair
    • Nearest
    • Lowest Health
    • Threat
    • Balanced
  • Four aim points:
    • Center
    • Upper Body
    • Head
    • Dynamic
  • Target filters and entity rules:
    • Configure monsters, animals, players, and invisible targets.
    • Search entity lists to block unwanted targets or prioritize preferred ones.
  • Target locking and feedback:
    • Lock or unlock a selected target.
    • Highlight the target with an optional outline.
    • Display its name, distance, health, and tracking status through the optional HUD.
  • Return After Aim:
    • Optionally restore your previous view when tracking ends without an immediate replacement target.
  • Five built-in presets:
    • Balanced (default)
    • Smooth
    • Fast Combat
    • Bow Practice
    • Melee Assist
  • In-game settings:
    • Scrollable settings pages and tooltips.
    • Remappable keybinds.
    • English and Indonesian language support.

🎮 How to play

  1. Press K to open settings, choose your options, and select Apply.
  2. Point near a target to start aiming. Use a supported item or an empty hand.
  3. Move the mouse deliberately away to release aim. Point at a target again to resume.
  • J: Turn assistance on or off.
  • N: Lock or unlock a target.

Keys can be changed in Minecraft's Controls menu.

⚠️ Multiplayer

Multiplayer use requires a compatible AutoAim server component and explicit server-side opt-in. Unsupported servers cannot enable assistance. A confirmation warning can appear before enabling it for the current session.

AutoAim does not automatically attack, click, or use items, and does not include anti-cheat bypasses. Visible Only excludes targets behind walls.

🔧 Updating

Older configuration formats are replaced with the new defaults once, without an upgrade backup. Review your settings after updating. Settings saved in the current format remain saved on subsequent launches.

Use Apply to save permanent settings. The J toggle changes only the current session.

A setting of 180 covers the area in front of the current view; 360 covers all directions. * Initial target detection and target selection after a kill now use separate angle settings. * Direct transitions to the next target use the shortest camera turn without restoring the previous view first. * Disabling **Next Target** now requires pointing the crosshair at another valid target after a kill. * Renamed **Hostile** and **Passive** target controls to **Monsters** and **Animals**. * Changed animal targeting to **ON** by default. * AutoAim is now enabled by default in singleplayer with a new or reset configuration. * Improved settings alignment, confirmation-dialog layout, and notification placement. * Updated English and Indonesian descriptions for the new controls. ### Fixed * Fixed camera jitter when moving sideways while tracking a nearby target. * Fixed nearby mobs being missed when the crosshair intersects their body but the selected aim point falls outside the detection angle. * Fixed cases where pointing back at a valid mob failed to reacquire it. * Fixed player movement or automatic camera rotation being mistaken for a deliberate mouse release. * Fixed automatic view restoration pulling the camera back after a manual target release. * Fixed connection cleanup unexpectedly disabling AutoAim when starting or leaving singleplayer. * Fixed the previous singleplayer enabled state not being restored after leaving multiplayer. * Fixed notifications appearing over the settings interface. * Fixed off-center notification text and inconsistent confirmation-text alignment. * Fixed settings options becoming difficult to reach on shorter screens. ### Removed * Removed **Very Low** and **Ultra** from the aim-strength selector. * Removed aim-status text from the settings pages. * Removed the internal build identifier from the Bug Report screen. * Removed automatic migration of settings from older configuration formats. ### Security * Multiplayer assistance continues to require explicit server-side opt-in and applicable session confirmation. * New tracking and following options respect server support, target filters, configured distances, and the **Visible Only** setting. * AutoAim does not automatically attack, click, or use items. ### Notes * **Updating replaces older configuration formats with the new default settings once. Previous settings are not carried over, and no upgrade backup is created. Review your settings after updating.** * Settings saved in the current configuration format remain saved on subsequent launches. * **Follow Camera** and **Walk After Mob** can be enabled or disabled independently. * Automatic following uses direct movement and does not find complex routes around obstacles. * **Next Target** only starts a new search after the active target dies. Manually releasing a target does not trigger it. * A 360-degree detection angle expands the search area; targets must still meet the configured distance, visibility, and filtering requirements. * **Return After Aim** remains available when tracking ends without an immediate replacement target. * Features and settings remain consistent across supported Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, and Quilt builds.
