# VPNGuard v1.3.0 (Major update!!) ### What's New * **Bypass permission**: Give trusted players `vpnguard.bypass` and they skip VPN checks. * **Geo rules**: Only allow, always allow, or block players by country, city, network (ASN) or ISP. Manage the lists in-game with the new `/vpngeo` command. Off by default. * **4 new detection providers**: IPHub, IPQualityScore, GetIPIntel and ipinfo.io. Off by default. * **Alert mode**: Get a staff notice about players who would have been kicked, without kicking anyone. API keys and webhook links are never shown in full. ### Fixes * On BungeeCord and Velocity, some settings changed in-game weren't saved. * The help menu showed the wrong version and listed a command that doesn't exist. * Whitelisted players now stay whitelisted if they change their name. ### Upgrading * Everything new that blocks players is off by default, and join enforcement is still off until you turn it on. * **If you don't use LuckPerms**, flagged players are now kicked a moment after joining instead of while connecting, so the bypass permission can be checked. To keep the old behavior, set `bypass.mode: luckperms`. * The plugin now remembers each player's last IP so `iphistory` works. Only the console can see it. Turn it off with `player-ip-history.enabled: false`.
