Vintner

Build a vineyard, turn its harvest into wine, and fill a working cellar with distinctive vintages. Vintner brings grape cultivation, connected trellises, pressing, fermentation, ageing, bottle storage and serving to Minecraft.

From vineyard to cellar

Grow red and white grapes on connected trellis rows, including slopes and uneven ground. Prepare the soil, inspect growing conditions and prune mature vines for new cuttings. Farmers, wandering traders and village loot can also provide starter cuttings.

Press four matching grapes into must, ferment a full batch and choose how to age the wine. Growing, production and storage conditions shape its quality. Each wine keeps its vintage, batch, provenance and storage history; the Vintner's Almanac explains the details.

Build a cellar with racks, crates, labelled shelves, tasting cabinets, barrel stands and Vintage Archives. Cellar conditions affect ageing, while different ageing vessels offer distinct results.

Place and serve bottles

Vintner 1.3.0 includes placeable red, white and aged wine bottles. A full bottle holds four persistent servings. Use a four-cup Tasting Service to select and drink individual servings; the bottle retains its remaining contents and wine details when placed and retrieved.

Getting started

Find a grape cutting, build connected trellises and prepare the ground.
Grow and harvest grapes, then press four matching grapes into must.
Ferment a full batch, age the wine and build a cellar.
Inspect, store, place or serve the finished vintage.

Installation

The files on this Modrinth page are for Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric. The latest file here is Vintner 1.3.0. Install Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer, Fabric API for Minecraft 26.2 and Java 25 or newer. Install Vintner and Fabric API on both client and server.

Vintner 1.3.0 does not require Commons. Vintner 1.4.0 for Minecraft 26.3 is currently available on CurseForge with different requirements. Choose files for your exact Minecraft version.
