1.4.6+26.429 сент. 2026 г.53Minecraft: 26.4-snapshot-1fabric

# 1.4.6
A bug-fix release. The headline fix is for Minecraft 26.3, where clicking a photo in the World
Journal did nothing; the rest came out of a full review of the mod looking for bugs shared by all
three supported versions (26.1, 26.2, 26.3, 26.4). No new features and no changes to the public API.
## Fixed
- **Minecraft 26.3: clicking a photo in the World Journal didn't open it.** Minecraft 26.3
renumbered the mouse buttons internally (the left button is no longer button `0`), and the
journal was still checking for the old number, so every click on a photo card was silently
ignored — hovering still worked, which made it look like the click itself was broken. The 26.3
jar now uses the game's own left-button constant; 26.1 and 26.2 were never affected.
- **Editing a photo threw you back to the last page of the journal.** Closing the photo editor
reopened the journal from scratch, and a fresh journal always opens on the most recent page — so
after titling a photo from an older day you had to page all the way back to find it. You now
return to the exact page you were on, with the new title/description already shown.
- **A death could be counted twice.** If you quit to the title screen while on the death screen
and then rejoined, Minecraft shows the death screen again for that same death — and the mod
counted it as a new one: an extra "Death" entry in the journal, a wrong death count, and a reset
survival streak. The re-shown death screen is now recognized and ignored; only real deaths are
counted.
- **Items from removed mods showed up as "Air".** In the "Materials collected" section, an item
from a mod you've since uninstalled appeared as "Air xN" with a blank icon. It now shows a
readable version of the item's id instead (e.g. `somemod:ruby_ore` → "Ruby ore"). Journal
entries from other mods that carry an icon from a removed mod no longer leave an empty gap
before their text either.
- **Screenshots taken while photo capture was off were imported all at once later.** With
"Screenshot photos" turned off in the settings, any screenshot you took was ignored, as
expected — but turning the option back on imported every one of them into the journal in one
go, all dated to that day. Screenshots taken while the option is off now stay out of the journal,
exactly like screenshots taken before joining a world.
- **Journal buttons appeared on the F3+Esc pause screen.** Pausing with F3+Esc shows only "Game
Paused" with no menu, but the "Eras & Events" and screenshot buttons were still added to it. They
now appear only on the regular pause menu.
- **Esc in the "Add event" popup closed everything.** Pressing Esc dropped you straight back into
the game instead of returning to the journal like the Cancel button next to it. It now returns
to the journal.
## Compatibility
- **Fabric Loader `0.19.5` or newer is now actually required** by all three jars. 1.4.5 already
listed `0.19.5` as the requirement, but its jars still accepted `0.19.3`; the 1.4.6 jars now
enforce what was documented. If your launcher still has an older Fabric Loader, update it.
- No settings or journal file format changes — updating from 1.4.5 requires no other action, and
existing journals keep working as they are. A death that an older version already counted twice
stays in the journal as it was recorded; only new occurrences are prevented.
- For mod developers: no API additions or removals. `getDeathCount()`, the survival-streak methods,
and `PHOTO_CAPTURED`/`getPhotoCount()` simply stop reporting the duplicate deaths and bulk-imported
screenshots described above.

Что нового
# 1.4.5
This release ports the mod to the now-stable Minecraft 26.3, plus one real bug fix found while
double-checking the mod's health beyond the porting itself. No changes to the public API; every
method/event/DTO documented for 1.4.4 behaves exactly as before.
## Minecraft 26.3 support
- **Minecraft 26.3 is now a fully supported version**, no longer marked experimental. The previous
release's `26.3 Pre-Release 1` jar is replaced by a jar built against the final stable 26.3.
- Fabric Loader requirement raised to `0.19.5` (from `0.19.3`) for all three published versions
(26.1, 26.2, 26.3), matching the official recommendation for 26.3. This is a backward-compatible
bump — it doesn't change anything for players already on 26.1/26.2.
- The two compatibility shims added for the 26.3 pre-release (an internal input-type rename, and an
advancement-display API that changed shape) needed no changes for the stable release — verified
by diffing the actual game/API classes the mod touches between the pre-release and the stable
build, not just by compiling.
- Fabric API bumped to `0.160.5+26.3` for the 26.3 jar.
## Fixed
- **Memory/VRAM leak when playing multiple worlds in one session.** 1.4.4 fixed the leak that
happened when deleting a photo from the World Journal. This release fixes the other half of the
same problem: browsing journal photos in a world, then leaving it (back to the title screen, or
into a different world) never freed those photos' GPU textures — they stayed allocated for the
rest of the game session. A session that visits several worlds and looks at photos in each one
now releases each world's photo textures on disconnect, instead of accumulating them indefinitely.
## Compatibility
No settings, journal file format, or dependency changes beyond the Fabric Loader bump above —
updating from 1.4.4 requires no action.

# 1.4.4
This release is the result of a full internal review of the whole mod, specifically looking for
bugs, crash risks, and performance issues — not a response to a specific bug report, and not a
feature release. There is no change to the public API; every method/event/DTO documented for
1.4.3 behaves exactly as before.
## Fixed
- **Rare crash on the hardcore run recap screen.** In an edge case, the "You survived N days"
screen shown on a hardcore world's final death could fail to open instead of showing the
recap.
- **A bug in one background feature could crash the whole game.** Advancement, weather, raid,
trade, material, screenshot, sleep-toast, and day/dimension tracking now each run isolated from
one another: an unexpected error in any single one of them now only disables that one feature
for the rest of the session, instead of being able to bring down the entire client.
- **Memory leak when deleting a photo.** Removing a photo from the World Journal (via
`/journal removeday`/`/journal clear`, or from the book screen) now actually frees the image
memory it used, instead of leaving it allocated for the rest of the session. A related leak on
a corrupted/undecodable image file is also fixed.
- **Screenshot toast always said "saved", even on failure.** The pause-menu screenshot button's
confirmation toast now reflects what actually happened (e.g. a full disk or a permissions
error), instead of always claiming success.
- **Stale screen after quitting mid-screenshot.** Disconnecting from a world in the brief window
between pressing the pause-menu screenshot button and it actually completing could leave a
screen from the old world behind; the pending screenshot is now cancelled cleanly on
disconnect.
- **A handful of internal checks running more often than needed**, without any visible effect
before now: the Ender Dragon defeat check in the End, and a boss-bar detection lookup used for
raid tracking and HUD boss-bar avoidance, both now fail (or throttle) once cleanly instead of
repeating unnecessary work every tick/frame.
- **Small data-robustness fixes**: a hand-edited or otherwise corrupted journal file with a
trailing stray character, or a corrupted event source id, is now handled more gracefully instead
of silently losing or misclassifying that entry.
- A fully clipped label in the World Journal book (in an already very narrow column) no longer
shows a bare `"..."` where there was no room to draw anything at all.
## Improved
- **No more stutter while editing an era name or a photo's title/caption.** Saving is now
batched shortly after you stop typing instead of rewriting the entire journal file on every
single keystroke.
- **Journal writes moved off the main game thread.** Routine journal updates (materials
collected, weather, trades, raids, advancements, deaths) are now written to disk in the
background instead of blocking gameplay — most noticeable during fast, sustained item
collection (e.g. quick mining or farming sessions), where this could previously cause an
occasional, tiny hitch.
- Reduced per-frame overhead in the HUD's boss-bar-avoidance/hidden-HUD detection.
- A few small reductions in per-tick/per-frame memory allocations (the Nether clock glitch
effect, material-collection tracking).
- Clearer error logging (full stack traces, not just a one-line message) when a third-party mod's
listener or integration misbehaves, to make diagnosing it easier for both mod authors.
No settings, journal file format, or dependency changes — updating from 1.4.3 requires no action.

shows a bare `"..."` where there was no room to draw anything at all.

1.4.3+26.3+Pre-Release-13 сент. 2026 г.32Minecraft: 26.3-pre-1fabric
Что нового
# 1.4.3
This release is about playing nicely with other mods' HUD elements, plus another batch of public
API for developers building on top of this mod.
## Added
- **HUD Position → "Extra top clearance"**: a new setting (Off / +20px / +40px / +60px) that adds
extra space above this mod's HUD block for the "top" position presets — a manual fallback for
the rare mod that draws its own top-of-screen bar (a custom boss bar, a level/progress bar on a
OneBlock-style map, ...) through a channel this mod's automatic avoidance can't see. It stacks
on top of that automatic avoidance rather than replacing it.
- **`recordCustomCounter(Identifier)` / `recordCustomCounter(Identifier, int)`** and
**`getCustomCounterCount(Identifier)` / `getCustomCounterCount(Identifier, long day)`**: other
mods can now track their own named counters (anything the built-in death/raid/trade/advancement
counters don't cover) through this mod's journal, the same as those built-in ones — a
world/server total or scoped to a single in-game day.
- **`DayTimeEvents.DAY_MILESTONE_REACHED`**: fires the first time each in-game day this mod
treats as a milestone is reached (day 50, day 365, and every multiple of 100 after that, with no
upper bound) — the same day set that drives this mod's own HUD celebration and milestone sound,
now something a third-party mod can hook into directly instead of re-deriving it.
- **`getHudBlockBounds()` / `HudBlockBounds`**: returns where this mod's own day/time HUD block is
currently drawn on screen (position, size, whether it's showing anything at all), so another mod
can position its own independently-rendered HUD content anchored to it — or deliberately clear
of it — instead of hardcoding a screen position that might collide.
- **Hardcore run recap**: on a hardcore world's final death, a dedicated "You survived N days"
screen now appears in front of the usual death screen, with a short recap pulled from this
mod's own World Journal (dimension era names, first Nether/End, the Dragon, raids/trades/
advancements) and a shortcut straight into the full journal. A "Continue" button hands off to
the normal death screen exactly as before — nothing about vanilla's own exit-to-title flow is
touched. Has its own on/off toggle in settings (Info & Alerts).
- **Day display format**: a new HUD setting groups the day counter into weeks, months, or years
("Week 36 · Day 1", "Month 9 · Week 4 · Day 1", ...) instead of the plain running count, purely
as a different way to read the same number — with a second toggle choosing whether the smallest
shown unit resets each period or keeps counting up alongside the bigger label. Everything this
mod tracks internally (journal entries, milestones, the API's current day) still uses the plain
absolute day count; only this HUD text changes. The unit order follows what reads naturally in
each language — English lists largest-to-smallest ("Year 1 · Month 9 · Week 4 · Day 1"), Italian
lists smallest-to-largest ("Giorno 1 · Settimana 4 · Mese 9 · Anno 1") — rather than forcing one
fixed order translated word-for-word.
See "For developers" on this page for the full reference (method signatures, DTO fields,
namespacing rules, threading notes).
## Fixed / Clarified
- Confirmed and documented: this mod's existing boss-bar avoidance (the shrink-and-duck behavior
for the "top center" HUD position) already reacts to *any* boss bar shown through vanilla's own
boss bar system — dragon, wither, a raid, or a server/datapack's own `/bossbar` command — which
covers most OneBlock-style maps, since their "Level: X" bar is typically implemented exactly
that way. No code change was needed for that case; the "Extra top clearance" setting above
covers the remaining case of a mod that draws its own bar outside that shared channel.

1.4.2+26.3+Pre-Release-12 сент. 2026 г.29Minecraft: 26.3-pre-1fabric
Что нового
# 1.4.2
This release is aimed mostly at other mod developers: a new way to draw a custom progress bar in
this mod's own HUD block, icons on custom journal entries, and a way to reuse this mod's milestone
celebration for another mod's own big moments — plus an internal rewrite of the World Journal's
storage that makes it more crash-safe and cheaper to write to, with no visible change in normal
play.
## Added
- **`HudBar` / `HudBarRegistry`**: other Fabric mods can now register their own progress bar
(mana, stamina, a boss's health, a quest timer, anything with a fill fraction) and have it drawn
right in this mod's own HUD block — stacked below it (or above it, on a bottom HUD position, so
a tall stack never runs off-screen), positioned automatically regardless of which of the 9 HUD
position presets you've picked. A bar can carry an icon and a label, and updates live every
frame from whatever the registering mod's own value is.
- New setting: **"Custom HUD bars"**, on by default — turn it off to hide every third-party bar
at once without needing to uninstall whichever mod added them.
- If a mod's bar misbehaves, it's skipped for that frame only (with a single warning, not a
flood of them) instead of breaking this mod's own HUD.
- **Icons on custom journal entries**: `logCustomEvent` gains an overload that also attaches an
item icon, shown next to the entry in the World Journal book.
- **`celebrateMilestone`**: like `logCustomEvent` with an icon, but also plays this mod's own
configured milestone sound the first time that event is logged — for another mod's "big
moment" (a boss defeated, a rare item found, a quest completed) that deserves the same small
celebration this mod already gives its own day milestones, without that mod needing to play a
sound itself or read the player's sound preference.
See "For developers" on this page for the full reference (method signatures, DTO fields,
namespacing rules, threading notes).
## Changed
- **Internal rewrite of the World Journal's on-disk storage** — no visible change during normal
play, called out here for transparency:
- Every new journal entry, death, raid, trade, advancement, or collected material is now
appended to the file directly instead of rewriting the entire journal on every single event —
meaningfully cheaper to write to for a long-played world with a large journal.
- A full rewrite (still used for deletions like `/journal removeday`/`/journal clear`, and a
few other cases) now writes to a temporary file and swaps it in atomically, so a crash or
power loss mid-save can no longer leave a truncated or corrupted journal file.
- The journal file format is now explicitly versioned; an older version of this mod opening a
journal saved by a newer one now loads it read-only for that session instead of risking
overwriting data it doesn't understand.
- The mod's own settings file now uses a more standard JSON reader/writer internally — no
effect on what's actually stored or how you interact with settings.

DayTime Counter 1.4.1+26.2
1.4.1+26.223 авг. 2026 г.92Minecraft: 26.2fabric
Что нового
# 1.4.1
This release bundles everything since 1.4.0 in one go: a full photo journal built into the World
Journal, several new automatic milestones, a contextual HUD, a redesigned four-tab settings
screen with rebindable keys, a Quick Journal for jotting down notes without leaving the game, a
day-change animation, a matching set of new public API, and a handful of bugfixes — including one
that could leave old journal entries stuck in the wrong language.
## Added
- **Screenshot photos in the World Journal**. Press F2 (Minecraft's own screenshot key) while in a
world and the screenshot is automatically captured into your journal as a photo card — the day,
coordinates, and dimension it was taken in are recorded with it. Click a photo in the book to
give it a title and a description.
- Photos for a day are laid out as a small scattered cluster (up to 3 per dedicated page)
instead of a rigid grid, each with a slight stable tilt, closer to a real scrapbook page.
- Hovering a photo brings it to the front and gently fades its neighbors, with a smooth animated
transition rather than an instant snap.
- Clicking a photo opens an edit screen with a large preview of the image itself, not just the
title/description fields.
- Only Minecraft's own F2 screenshots are captured — a screenshot taken with your operating
system's own shortcut (e.g. Cmd+Shift+4 on macOS) isn't something a Minecraft mod can see, and
can also come out as a solid black image on some systems; use F2 for anything you want saved
to the journal.
- **A "Screenshot" button in the pause menu**, next to "World Journal" — takes a clean screenshot
(the pause menu itself is never included in the shot) without needing to close the menu first,
and shows a confirmation toast.
- **Survival streak tracking**: how many in-game days you've currently survived without dying, and
your longest streak ever in that world. Shown on the HUD automatically in Hardcore worlds.
- **World birthday milestones**: your world now gets a small journal entry and toast at 100, 365,
500, and 1000 days (365 replaces the old "one year" milestone with the same behavior — existing
journals aren't affected).
- **Automatic World Journal backups**: a backup copy is kept every time you join a world (the last
5 are retained per world), so a corrupted journal file doesn't mean losing your whole journal.
- **Weather tracking**: whether it rained or thundered is now recorded per day and shown in the
book (only on days it actually happened — clear days don't clutter the page).
- **Contextual HUD**: in the Nether, the HUD shows how long you've been on this particular visit
(in seconds for the first minute, then in minutes); in a Hardcore world, it shows your current
survival streak. Only one is ever shown at a time, to keep the HUD from getting cluttered.
- The whole HUD block adapts while you're in the Nether, since day/night doesn't apply there:
the sun/moon icon is replaced with a Netherrack icon, the day-progress bar turns solid red
instead of tracking a day/night cycle that doesn't exist in that dimension, and the clock
renders as an animated, flickering "corrupted signal" instead of a normal time reading.
- **Day-change animation**: the day counter on the HUD gives a brief, subtle pulse the moment the
day advances (e.g. Day 99 → Day 100), so a change is noticeable without staring at the number.
Toggleable in settings.
- **Quick Journal**: a new key (default `J`) opens a small popup to jot down a note without
leaving gameplay or opening the full World Journal book — press Enter or click Save to record it
and go straight back to the game.
- **Redesigned settings screen**: now split across four tabs (HUD, Info & Alerts, World Journal,
Keybinds) instead of one long page, each keeping the readable two-column layout. The new
Keybinds tab lets you rebind this mod's two keys directly, with the same conflict warning
vanilla shows for clashing keys, plus a shortcut into vanilla's own full key-binding list.
- New settings: toggles for the contextual HUD, the world birthday toast, screenshot photo
capture, weather tracking, the day-change animation, and the Quick Journal key — all in the
mod's settings screen (Mod Menu or the in-game key).
- **New public API** (`dev.notesow.vanilladaytimecounter.api.v1`) for other Fabric mods:
- `getCurrentSurvivalStreak()` / `getLongestSurvivalStreak()`
- `getCurrentNetherVisitTicks()`, the same Nether-visit duration the contextual HUD shows
- `getPhotoCount()` / `getPhotoCount(long day)` and `getPhotos()` / `getPhotos(long day)`,
returning the day, coordinates, dimension, title, and description of each captured photo (the
image file itself isn't part of the public API)
- `getWeather(long day)`, returning whether it rained/thundered that day
- New events: `PHOTO_CAPTURED` (fired the moment a screenshot is captured, before a
title/description are set), `WEATHER_CHANGED` (fired the first time rain or thunder is
observed on a day), and `WORLD_BIRTHDAY` (fired when a 100/365/500/1000-day milestone is
reached)
- New DTOs `PhotoRecord` and `WeatherRecord`
See "For developers" on this page for the full reference (method signatures, DTO fields,
namespacing rules, threading notes).
## Fixed
- **World Journal entries staying in the wrong language after a language change (bug carried
since automatic journal entries were introduced).** Automatic entries (advancements, deaths,
raids, trades, milestones...) were translated once, at the moment they happened, and that exact
text was then kept forever — so switching the game's language later never updated anything
already logged, even though everything else in the book (headings, buttons) switched normally.
Automatic entries are now re-translated live, in whatever language is active whenever you open
the book. This also repairs entries already sitting in an existing journal: the first time you
load a world after updating, old entries are automatically upgraded in place so they start
following the current language too, with no action needed on your part. Entries you wrote
yourself (via the book or `/journal add`) and entries logged by another mod are left exactly as
typed, since there's no translation to fall back on for free text.
- **Milestone sound not playing with the day counter hidden (bug carried since the milestone sound
was added).** The sound has its own dedicated toggle, but was incorrectly also gated behind the
day counter's own visibility — turning off the day counter text silently silenced the milestone
sound too. It now always plays on a milestone day whenever its own toggle is on, regardless of
whether the day counter text itself is shown.
- **First Nether visit, first End visit, and the dragon kill not counting toward the advancement
counters (bug carried since those milestones were introduced).** These three have always shown
up as journal entries and toasts, but weren't recorded in the structured advancement data behind
`getAdvancementCount()`/`getCompletedAdvancements()` and the in-book advancement tally — they now
are, for both newly-detected and retroactively-backfilled occurrences.
- **Performance**: a photo that failed to load (a missing or corrupted file) used to have its disk
read and image decode reattempted — and fail again — on every single rendered frame for as long
as it stayed on screen. It's now correctly remembered as broken after the first failed attempt.
- **Performance**: the screenshots folder was being scanned up to 4 times a second the entire time
you were in a world, regardless of whether you'd taken a new screenshot. Reduced to once a
second — imperceptible for detecting a new photo, but meaningfully cheaper for players with a
large accumulated screenshots folder.
- **Corrupted/blank photo captures**: this Minecraft version reads a screenshot back from the GPU
asynchronously, so the file could still be mid-write when the mod copied it into the journal,
producing a blank or broken image. Screenshots are now verified complete (checked for a valid
PNG end marker) before being copied.
- A settings section label ("Events", "Materials collected"...) could end up as the very last line
of a journal page with none of its own content following it on that same page. It's now kept
together with at least its first line of content, or pushed to the next page entirely.
- The day-heading logo in the World Journal book could be pushed above the page artwork entirely
at the smallest available GUI scale. It's now clamped to the page's own top edge at every scale.
- The boss-bar avoidance animation (the counter shrinking and sliding aside when a boss bar
appears) could carry a stale "shifted aside" state over into a new world if it hadn't finished
resetting when you left the previous one. It's now reset cleanly on both join and disconnect.
- The coordinates line in the photo edit screen could run past the edge of its panel with a long
custom era name. It now wraps onto additional lines instead.
- The pause-menu screenshot button stayed visible — and would still show a misleading "added to
your journal" confirmation — even after disabling photo capture in settings. It's now hidden in
that case.
- This mod's key-binding category showed up as a raw untranslated string in vanilla's own Key
Binds list instead of "Vanilla DayTime Counter".
## Changed
- Photo title/description default to blank with an inviting "add a title"/"add a description"
placeholder, instead of a plain word, so it's obvious they're meant to be edited.
- The screenshot-capture setting was renamed internally; if you had it turned off before this
update, it will be back on afterward and need turning off again.

DayTime Counter 1.4.1+26.1
1.4.1+26.123 авг. 2026 г.27Minecraft: 26.1.2fabric
Что нового
- `getCurrentSurvivalStreak()` / `getLongestSurvivalStreak()`
- `getCurrentNetherVisitTicks()`, the same Nether-visit duration the contextual HUD shows
- `getPhotoCount()` / `getPhotoCount(long day)` and `getPhotos()` / `getPhotos(long day)`,
returning the day, coordinates, dimension, title, and description of each captured photo (the
image file itself isn't part of the public API)

DayTime Counter 1.4.0+26.2
1.4.0+26.211 авг. 2026 г.149Minecraft: 26.2fabric
Что нового
# 1.4.0
This release bundles everything since 1.3.7 in one go — the World Journal storage fix and
`/journal` commands were finished but never actually published as their own release, so this is
the first version where all of it reaches players.
## Added
- **Custom HUD position**: 9 presets (top/middle/bottom × left/center/right) instead of just
top/bottom, from the settings screen.
- **Automatic boss bar avoidance**: with the top-center preset, if a vanilla boss bar shows up —
an Ender Dragon or Wither fight, a raid, or a server's own custom `/bossbar` — the counter
smoothly shrinks a little and slides below it, then returns to its normal spot once the boss
bar clears. No manual repositioning needed.
- A **"World Journal" title logo** above the day heading in the book screen, on every page where
a new day begins.
- **New automatic World Journal milestones**:
- Every death (not just the first), with the very first one still called out specially
- Every raid you defend or lose
- Every villager trade, with what you received
- Every advancement you complete
- **Milestone sound settings**: turn the notable-day sound off, or pick which sound plays, from
the Mod Menu settings screen.
- **`/journal` commands**:
- `/journal add <text>` — logs a manual entry on the current in-game day, without opening the
book screen
- `/journal removeday <day>` — shows how many entries exist for that day; running
`/journal removeday <day> confirm` deletes all of them
- `/journal clear` — shows a warning about what's about to happen; running
`/journal clear confirm` permanently wipes the current world's entire journal
- **New public API** (`dev.notesow.vanilladaytimecounter.api.v1`) for other Fabric mods:
- `getDeathCount()` / `getDeathCount(long day)`
- `getRaidCount()` / `getRaidCount(long day)`, plus `getRaids()` / `getRaids(long day)` for
which ones were won vs. lost
- `getTradeCount()` / `getTradeCount(long day)` and `getTrades()` / `getTrades(long day)` for
what was received
- `getAdvancementCount()` / `getAdvancementCount(long day)` and `getCompletedAdvancements()` /
`getCompletedAdvancements(long day)` for which ones
- Each counter comes both as a world/server total and scoped to a single in-game day
- New `JOURNAL_DAY_REMOVED`/`JOURNAL_CLEARED` events, so a mod tracking journal data is
notified when `/journal removeday`/`/journal clear` wipes it, instead of being left with
stale cached state
- New DTOs `TradeRecord`, `AdvancementRecord`, and `RaidRecord`, alongside the existing
`JournalEntry`
See "For developers" on this page for the full reference (method signatures, DTO fields,
namespacing rules, threading notes).
## Fixed
- **World Journal entries mixing between different worlds (major bug).** On this Minecraft
version, the way the game reports a singleplayer world's own save folder could resolve to the
same generic path for every world instead of that world's actual folder. As a result, every
singleplayer world ended up sharing one single journal file instead of getting its own — so a
brand-new world could show deaths, trades, advancements or notes that actually happened in a
completely different world, and deleting a world and creating a new one with the same name
could resurrect the deleted world's entries.
- Each world's journal is now tied to its own save folder through a small hidden marker file
stored inside that folder, completely independent of the folder's name — this can't
reoccur, even if you reuse an old world's name.
- If you had already been affected, opening the singleplayer world list now shows a one-time
recovery screen (it keeps appearing until you act on it) offering two choices: delete the old
shared file and let every world start with a clean journal, or pick which of your worlds
should receive the old file's recovered entries.
- **Minecraft 26.1 compatibility**: the 26.1 jar previously declared it needed Fabric Loader
`0.19.3+`, a version that isn't available on 26.1, so the mod failed to load there with an
"incompatible mods" error. Fixed — download the jar matching your Minecraft version.
## Changed
- Rebuilt the mod's own build system on Gradle + Fabric Loom, compiling against real Minecraft/
Fabric API jars instead of hand-written approximations of them. No effect on the mod itself —
called out here only because it's the reason this release took a version bump on its own even
though most of the content above was already finished earlier.

DayTime Counter 1.3.7+26.2
1.3.7+26.227 июл. 2026 г.40Minecraft: 26.2fabric
Что нового
# 1.3.7+26.2
The biggest update to Vanilla DayTime Counter so far. 1.3.6 was compatibility-only (Minecraft 26.2 support, no new features) — everything below is new since then.
## Added
- **World Journal**, opened from the pause menu:
- Custom era names per dimension (Overworld/Nether/End)
- Automatic milestones: first Nether visit, first End visit, Ender Dragon defeated, one full year survived — estimated retroactively if you'd already reached one before installing the mod
- Your own manual notes, tied to the current in-game day, with the journal always opening on today's page
- Materials collected, tracked per day — items you only dropped and picked back up, or that followed you through a game mode switch, aren't double-counted
- Each world/server keeps its own separate journal
- **Day/night HUD icon**: dawn, day, sunset, dusk, or night, following the actual in-game time
- **Multicolor progress bar** option, tinting the day bar to match the time of day
- **Compass direction indicator** in the HUD label when holding a compass
- **Public API** for other Fabric mods: read the current day/time/era, subscribe to day-change/journal/material-collected events, and log custom journal entries. See "For developers" on this page.
## Fixed
- The milestone sound and the sleep-time toast could silently fail to trigger after switching to a different world or server without restarting the game, if the new day happened to match a day number already used in the previous session.
## Changed
- Bumped bundled Fabric API and Mod Menu reference versions.

## 1.3.4/1.3.5+26.1.2
### Added
- Vanilla-style toast reminder when it's getting late enough to sleep, with a dedicated toggle in the settings screen
### Changed
- Day progress bar now uses Minecraft's real XP bar sprites instead of a custom-colored gradient fill, matching vanilla style more closely
- Switched to the overworld clock as the time source, fixing sync issues in multiplayer
### Removed
- Time acceleration setting (speed multiplier) — the mod now always tracks real overworld time
