Tinker’s Newlife 1.0.1.24-hotfix3
1.0.1.24-hotfix329 окт. 2026 г.22Minecraft: 1.20.1forge
Что нового
Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.24-hotfix3
Third hotfix on 1.0.1.24 (previous: 1.0.1.24-hotfix2). Fixes only, no new world content.
1. Durandal: "Unbreakable" replaced by our own "Indestructible"
Durandal tools could not be modified
Cause: Tinkers' native unbreakable is designed to be earned, and carries a prerequisite check (Reinforced V + Netherite). We granted it as an innate material trait, so a freshly built tool had the trait without the prerequisites and failed validation every time — no upgrades or modifications were possible.
Durandal now uses our own trait "Indestructible": the tool never loses durability and never breaks, with no prerequisites, so it can be upgraded normally.
Existing tools are migrated automatically (inventory / armor / offhand are checked and rebuilt). Players' legitimately earned vanilla Unbreakable is left alone.
2. Staff and spells
Staff could not cast spells stored in worn spell containers
Cause: Iron's Spellbooks requires a spell to be "learned"; spells inscribed with the Arcane Anvil / Super-Tier Magic / Magic Conduction were selectable in the wheel but rejected as unlearned at cast time.
Now: a spell inscribed in any spell container you hold or wear (including curios) counts as learned, so the staff (and Iron's own implements) can cast them.
Super-Tier Magic no longer ignored on curios
It only scanned main hand / offhand / armor and missed all Curios slots (gloves, flying sword…).
Curios are scanned now; a rate-limited diagnostic log was added for troubleshooting.
Super-Tier Magic no longer overwrites other level boosts
It used to push the final level to "max level × 2", wiping other mods' additions.
It now computes a delta from the base level and adds it, so other sources are preserved.
Added a last-priority cast-time floor guard: if something lowers the level afterwards, the Super-Tier promise is restored — only raised, never lowered for higher values from others.
3. Miner's Vision recipe
The level-1 recipe shadowed the upgrade recipe
Both recipes use the same item types (only amounts differ), and Tinkers picks the first recipe that matches materials regardless of the tool's current level — so the level-1 recipe always won and upgrading to levels 2–5 was impossible.
Added a modifier recipe type with a current-level range: the level-1 recipe only matches at level 0, the upgrade recipe only at levels 1–4.
Amounts unchanged: 20 of each for level 1, 30 of each for levels 2–5 (×1.5).
4. Development environment (no gameplay impact)
gradlew runData fixed
Fixed datagen in dev: GeckoLib runtime dependency, mixin refmap properties for the data run, and loading the multi-module shared output (excluding the sibling modules' entry classes).
Note: this mod currently has no datagen providers, so runData neither generates nor validates recipe JSON.
Notes
Everything above is build-verified and statically checked, not verified in-game. Please test:
old Durandal sword: trait becomes "Indestructible" and the tool can be upgraded; durability never drops;
staff casting spells inscribed on armor/curios;
Super-Tier Magic working when only gloves/flying sword are worn;
Miner's Vision upgrading from level 1 with 30 of each item;
Super-Tier Magic coexisting with other spell-level mods without overwriting them.
Version 1.0.1.24-hotfix3 — replace the old jar, do not install both.

Tinker’s Newlife 1.0.1.24-hotfix2
1.0.1.24-hotfix225 окт. 2026 г.96Minecraft: 1.20.1forge
Что нового
Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.24-hotfix2
Second hotfix on top of 1.0.1.24 (previous one: 1.0.1.24-hotfix). Mostly bug fixes and feel changes, no new world content.
Compatibility / crashes
1. Startup crash with Iron's Spellbooks (irons_lib) — and spear charging still ignores slowdown
Both mods hooked the same "does charging slow you down" logic in LocalPlayer; the losing injection aborted startup.
Reworked so we no longer compete for that injection point, and spear charging still never slows you down even with irons_lib installed.
2. Dragonsteel (fire / frost / lightning) now strictly follows Ice and Fire
Materials, recipes and fluids were already mod_loaded-gated; this build also gates the trait effects so nothing half-applied remains when Ice and Fire is absent.
3. "Seven Curses Bound" (Malicious Star Spirit material) ejected gear even when the time condition was met
Root cause: our own self-counted suffering ratio (and a broken stat-read gate) disagreed with Enigmatic Legacy's own accounting.
Now we prefer Enigmatic Legacy's authoritative check (isTheWorthyOne / suffering fraction) and only fall back to the old logic when its API is unavailable. A [七咒] diagnostic line is logged if gear is still ejected.
Feel / gameplay
4. Merchant Momo
Always retaliates when hit (creative or survival, regardless of her current target);
Aggro decays: she gives up 30 seconds after the last hit (hitting her again refreshes it);
Immune to her employer's damage (melee and arrows): no damage, no grudge, no retaliation;
Each purchase gives +5 favor (was +1);
Daily refresh now re-rolls the whole offer list (previously easy to mistake for a simple restock);
Hire renewal is explicit: the hire screen shows "currently hired (N days left)", the button reads "renew N days", and renewing has a clear message + sound.
5. "Heart" (conscience) toggle moved to a game rule
Removed from the config file; use /gamerule doConscienceHeart true|false (default on), saved with the world.
6. Modular staff crosshair
While holding the modular staff and a Dynamic-Crosshair-style mod is installed, a vanilla crosshair is always drawn at screen center.
7. Dragonsteel Frost hits now freeze like ice dragon breath
Uses Ice and Fire's own frozen state (ice statue, cannot move or attack); the old random frost-ice blocks were removed.
Tooltips / cooldowns
8. Restored two accidentally removed tooltips
Dragon Blood Tank: shows "Dragon blood X/Y mB" (Shift expands the three blood types);
Dragon Staff: restored the stored-dragon tooltip (mode, per-slot dragons, slot count, attack bonus, Shift hint).
9. Dragon Staff cooldown uses the vanilla item cooldown
No more "skill cooling down, N ticks left" spam; the hotbar slot shows the vanilla cooldown sweep instead.
10. Log spam cleanup (also in the previous hotfix)
The construct screen no longer spams Tool stack constructed using non-modifiable tool hundreds of times per second.
Growth / spell levels
11. "Spiritual Ether" now gains growth from ranged kills
Ranged kills are correctly credited, and bows/crossbows can finally grow draw speed / velocity / accuracy.
12. "Origin Magic" fixes
Curios (gloves, flying sword, etc.) now count (previously only main hand / offhand / armor were scanned);
Trait level is no longer clamped to 3: an 8-level knight shield now grants +16 spell levels instead of +6.
Notes
Everything above was built successfully and statically verified but not verified in-game. Please try: irons_lib starts fine and spear charging is fast; merchant retaliation/decay/friendly-fire/daily offers/renewal; ranged kills grow the bow; gloves/flying sword grant spell levels; frost hits freeze like ice dragon breath.
Version 1.0.1.24-hotfix2 — replace the old jar, do not install both.

Что нового
Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.24-hotfix
This is a hotfix on top of 1.0.1.24 and contains exactly one change: log spam.
The log was flooded with Tool stack constructed using non-modifiable tool (Render thread, ~120 lines/second)
Symptom: while the "Construct / blueprint" item-picker screen was open, the log spammed that warning at roughly 120 lines per second; crafting Tinker bullets or using Miner's Vision also produced occasional entries.
Cause: the warning itself is printed by TConstruct (ToolStack warns when handed a Tinker tool item without NBT). This mod was the caller: ConstructSelectScreen created new ItemStack(tinker tool) every frame to draw icons, and two Tinker tools were visible in the grid — two warnings per frame, ~120/s.
Fixed:
Construct screen: display stacks for Tinker items are now initialised once and cached (ToolStack.createTool(..., MaterialNBT.EMPTY) + updateStack), reused for rendering and tooltips;
Tinker bullets: ammo is initialised via createTool instead of ToolStack.from on an empty stack;
Materialisation and Miner's Vision: check ToolStack.isInitialized first and treat empty stacks as "no materials / no modifier".
For players: just install this build — no TConstruct config change needed. For absolute silence, set logInvalidToolStack to IGNORE in config/tconstruct-common.toml (default WARNING).
Notes
Version 1.0.1.24-hotfix (same baseline as 1.0.1.24, only this fix differs).
Replace the old tinkersnewlife-1.0.1.24.jar; do not install both.
Not yet verified in-game.

Что нового
Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.24 Changelog
New dependency: The Momo boss model/animations are now powered by GeckoLib — geckolib-forge-1.20.1-4.8.4 is required (Goety already depends on it, so most packs have it).
Fixes
1. Startup crash with Iron's Spellbooks (irons_lib) — the reason for this release
Both mods hooked the same "does charging slow you down" logic in LocalPlayer, and the losing injection aborted the game during startup (@Redirect conflict ... InjectionError).
Reworked so we no longer compete for that injection point: no more conflict, and spear charging still never slows you down (works even with irons_lib installed).
2. Momo (boss)
Fake death (lose health on one hit, refill on the next, only the Infinity sword could kill it) — fixed: while the health core still reports it alive, every death mark is undone automatically.
Killed by the Infinity sword while the clones protect it — fixed: the boss cannot die while clones live.
Clones couldn't lose health — fixed: clones no longer inherit the boss damage cap / invulnerability / rebound.
Clones no longer gain L2Hostility levels or traits, and already-applied attribute bonuses are stripped.
Breath's Requiem healing (only healed after being hit, stalled around 80%) — fixed: heals toward full every second and always tops up before the domain ends.
Skills failing during hit-stun — changed: a skill now starts right after the stagger ends (no missed cast); only a spell that is currently being cast gets interrupted by a hit.
Ghost boss bar (leftover bar after changing dimension / walking away) — fixed (server cleanup + client fallback).
Requiem hexagram invisible — fixed: the ground hexagram renders correctly now (thicker, brighter).
Comet Kick pose sticking / model parts flying apart — fixed.
New content (Momo boss — work in progress)
R'lyeh's Shadow: summons 3 clones (half the boss's max health, no damage cap, no protection, tagged as minions). The boss is invulnerable until all clones are killed. One clone prefers to wander (melee/ranged AI still in development).
Comet Kick: ~2× speed straight dash, then a diagonal kick on impact (20% of attack damage) with heavy knockback; hitting a wall adds blunt damage based on impact speed. Dash leaves afterimages.
GeckoLib migration: model and animations are now loaded from resource files — walk, blink (with afterimages), hurt, resonance, discordant chord (raise + swing), Requiem (enter + loop + exit), kick.
Notes / known issues
The Momo boss is not finished (melee/ranged AI and some skills are still being tuned). Please test it in a test world rather than relying on it in a main save.
With irons_lib installed, an already redirected by irons_lib WARN in the log is normal and harmless.
A log line [长矛] 蓄力减速已跳过(常量改写通道生效) means the spear no-slowdown logic is active.
⚠ Reminder: the release jar is tinkersnewlife-1.0.1.24.jar (MD5 E6C719C37502); players also need GeckoLib installed.

# Tinkers' New Life 1.0.1.23
## New: Miner's Vision modifier
- A new harvest-tool modifier that highlights every `forge:ores` block in range with its own texture, visible through terrain (client-side only, so only you see it).
- Range grows 5 blocks per level, up to level 5 (25 blocks).
- The first level consumes 1 ability slot; later levels only consume materials.
- Each level costs 20 Nether Quartz + 20 Diamonds + 20 Gold Ingots + 20 Emeralds.
- Can only be applied to harvest tools.
## Fixed: portable devices could open but never craft
- The ghost station block entity was created without a level, and Tinkers' crafting result bails out immediately when `level` is null, which is why the GUI worked and nothing could ever be crafted.
- The client never had the station registered in its virtual table, so the crafting recipe could never reach it.
- Recipes are now delivered to the client by our own packet, calling Tinkers' own `updateRecipe`, bypassing the position-based sync that can never find a pocket-position station.
- Station contents are now saved on every slot change instead of only when the screen closes, so a crash with the GUI open no longer risks losing items.
## Changed: disarm rework
- Disarming now drops the items immediately instead of storing them: mobs drop both hands to the ground, players get the items moved into their inventory (dropping to the ground only when the inventory is full).
- While disarmed, the victim cannot pick up any item, and anything that ends up in either hand is moved to the inventory again.
- Items dropped by disarm cannot be destroyed by lightning, explosions, fire, lava or cacti (protection ends as soon as they are picked up).
## New: Dovahkiin trait
- A new level-less trait: your dragon breath attacks deal true damage to dragons of other elements, and half of it to dragons of the same element.
- Attached to the dragonsteel weapons and to dreadsteel.
## Dragonsteel updates
- Dragonsteel armor now resists Ice and Fire dragon breath: each set is immune to its own element and takes 50% less from the other two; dreadsteel armor is immune to all three.
- Dragonsteel weapons now mix in a matching dragon breath damage on hit (5 x trait level), using Ice and Fire's custom damage types.
- Dreadsteel sword qi counts as an elementless dragon breath only for the Dovahkiin true-damage segment; everything else stays magic damage and cannot be resisted.
## Other fixes
- Fixed the NBT tag count flickering between 9 and 10 on items: the affinity normalizer only looked at the legacy key while affinity now lives in `AttributeModifiers`, which made it strip the "already rolled" marker every second.
- Fixed freshly obtained items (including fished fish) never stacking, by no longer writing an empty tag onto every item.
- Repository housekeeping: all changelogs moved into `docs/changelogs`, stale branches removed.

Что нового
Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.22
2026-10-11 | Requires Forge 47.4.22+ | Minecraft 1.20.1
This release is headlined by the portable device family — every Tinkers workstation can now be carried in your pocket, and the Toolkit stitches six of them together behind Tinkers' own tab bar. It also adds the cursed titles system, reworks curse affinity, fixes a JEI crash on Tinkers multi-module screens, and puts the project on the MIT license with a proper README.
Only mod_version (and mod_license) changed in gradle.properties.
Added
Portable Devices (carry your workshop)
Six portable devices, each opening the real Tinkers interface anywhere: portable_crafting_station, portable_tinkers_anvil, portable_part_builder, portable_modifier_worktable, portable_cast_chest, portable_part_chest.
Contents live in the player's persistent data, never in the item's NBT, so a portable chest cannot be used to duplicate its contents.
The devices are ghost block entities: no block is ever placed in the world. The block itself creates the entity (EntityBlock#newBlockEntity), which keeps the real slot counts on both sides.
Portable Tinker Station was removed as requested; the anvil covers that role.
Portable Toolkit (six devices in one)
Shapeless recipe from the six portable devices; opens the crafting-station interface.
Tinkers' own tab bar, drawn by TinkerTabsWidget from Menu.stationBlocks: we fill that list ourselves, so all six devices appear as tabs with their own icons.
Clicking a tab opens that device, and switching tabs keeps the tab bar visible.
The tab bar only appears inside a toolkit session, so opening a single portable device directly does not show the other tabs.
Cursed Titles
15 titles with rarities, displayed as [title][title]playerName, keeping only the three rarest active ones.
Five unlock conditions (binding rituals, curse crafting, puppet core, merchant kill, cursed ring) plus dynamic sorcerer rank derived from maximum curse power.
Title picker screen: single vertical list, mouse-wheel paging, rarity colours, a picked counter, and a "restore automatic" button; reachable from the HUD editor.
Titles update in real time (compared every 20 ticks; the cached display name is refreshed and re-synced when the prefix changes).
Curse Affinity
Affinity is rolled once per item the first time it reaches a player (marked in NBT), so creative-spawned curios get it too, and dropping and picking an item back up never re-rolls it.
Written with Slot=curio so Curios renders a single "When worn as a curio" block; legacy slot-less vanilla entries are stripped every tick so the six bogus tooltip lines disappear.
Shown as one Curse Affinity +N line, with the value kept in our own NBT key.
Recipes and Art
Each portable tool = its prototype block surrounded by eight scorched bricks; the prototype is matched through a tag (tinkersnewlife:portable_prototype_*), so adding a variant later only means editing the tag.
Toolkit = the six portable devices, shapeless.
Seven new 16x16 icons for the portable devices (each model now points at its own texture).
Fixed
JEI crash on Tinkers screens (width must be >= 0): Mantle hands JEI a negative-width exclusion rect while a multi-module screen is mid-layout; negative rects are now clamped to zero.
"Connection lost" on world load: the title-sync packet is server-to-client but was registered with the client-to-server helper; it now uses registerClientPacket with a delayed login sync.
Portable chests closed instantly / threw ClassCastException: chest contents live in an IItemHandler, not a Container, so the inventory is routed through the capability.
Menus opening and closing at once: stillValid is overridden, because the ghost sits far from the player and the server closes the screen on the next tick otherwise.
Slot-index crashes on portable GUIs: unified ghost creation and an explicit side count in the menu buffer.
Silent Glove no longer prints an extra ring-slot line in the middle of its tooltip (Curios already shows the slot modifier at the bottom).
Missing language keys: item_group.tinkersnewlife.curse_core.description and item_group.tinkersnewlife.long_short_blade.description were showing as raw keys.
Engineering
Adopted the MIT license (LICENSE, plus license="MIT" in all four mods.toml files and mod_license=MIT).
Added a proper README.md (environment, build, deploy, module layout, conventions); the Forge MDK boilerplate README.txt was removed.
Workspace cleanup: temporary decompile dumps and bin/ removed (about 77 MB).
check-json: 2092 files checked, bad 0.
Verification
gradlew singleJar: BUILD SUCCESSFUL.
Artifact: tinkersnewlife-1.0.1.22.jar (~15.2 MB), deployed to both instances, MD5 identical.
Not yet playtested: the toolkit tab switching on a fresh world, the portable device recipes, and the new device icons.

Что нового
Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.21 — Changelog
Cumulative since 1.0.1.20. Only mod_version was changed in gradle.properties. Items marked "not yet tested in-game" were implemented to spec and pass the build / JSON validation, but have not been verified by playtesting yet.
1. Cursed Techniques — True-Damage Pipeline Rework
Removed the second, anonymous hurt call. The dummy showing three damage numbers was caused by an extra synthetic hit; it is now a single hurt plus a direct shortfall write. The client-sync suppression (quiet) was tightened to "skip the sync only when the target's health resets itself" (e.g. dummies), so the Apostle immunity window can be broken again.
EXTRA_HEALTH_CHANNEL = false: disabled the extra-health channel (RevelationFix's accessor returned 666 on the Apostle and corrupted startHp / dealt, which showed up as "the Apostle takes no damage").
forgetEntity(UUID) now clears LAST_START_HP / DAMAGE_OWED / SHADOW_HEALTH / PENDING. All probes were demoted to LOGGER.debug (27 info + 2 warn -> 30 debug).
2. Cursed Techniques — Recall / Seal Hardening
GourdJailEntity.forcePurge now uses TruePierce.rawSetHealth(living, 0.0F).
finishSeal rollback restores hpBeforePurge and calls cancelPurgeRecheck.
New 20-tick cross-tick recheck (schedulePurgeRecheck / tickPurgeRecheck, driven from ServerLevelTickTailMixin at TAIL).
CursedSpiritTechnique.recallReleased now schedules a recheck and calls forgetEntity; ApostlePatch.TRAP_COOLDOWN entries are cleaned up on expiry; ShikigamiHandler.recallAll was renamed to estimatedRecallRefund (it was dead code).
3. FumoMo Doll — Dance
Each block entity remembers its own discStyle; new DISC_SOURCES registry (by dimension and position) plus discStyleNear() (nearest source within 16 blocks). When two discs play at once, the doll now follows the nearest one.
Dance sequence: one-second loop with no pause; ND_TURN = 45, ND_LEAN = 15 (ND_LEAN_SIGN = -1), and a small upward bounce while turning, ND_BOUNCE = 0.022. Note: direction and bounce amount are not yet tested in-game.
4. Music Discs
New disc "Little Wish" (music_disc_tell_me): audio at sounds/music/tell_me_tell_me.ogg, ModSounds.MUSIC_TELL_ME(+_ID), ModItems.MUSIC_DISC_TELL_ME (LENGTH_TICKS = 1324), Chinese/English language keys, and the music_discs item tag.
Texture: all 14 frames of the source GIF had their background removed (only pixels that were already transparent were cleared, plus a shared bounding box to avoid jitter), producing a 16x224 vertical strip of 14 frames with music_disc_tell_me.png.mcmeta (frametime: 2). Note: an early pass used corner-colour flood fill and also erased the fish's black headphones; that has been fixed.
Language keys: name Little Wish, description 遥 - 塞壬唱片.
Obtainability: new loot modifier little_wish_from_fishing (minecraft:gameplay/fishing, chance 0.01) — a 1% extra fishing drop that does not replace vanilla fishing output. Registered in data/forge/loot_modifiers/global_loot_modifiers.json.
JEI: two acquisition info pages — "friends' wine = 20% from End City chests" and "Little Wish = 1% from fishing" (with matching language keys). Note: both code-side and sounds.json attempts at changing disc volume had no effect (jukebox playback is streamed), so they were fully reverted; the audio file itself stays the single source of truth for volume.
5. Smelting and Materials
Ancient cursed scroll -> curse residue: amount raised from 1 to 5 (mB) (recipes/smeltery/melting/ancient_cursed_scroll.json).
6. Ancient Cursed Scroll — Refresh Rules and Use
Refresh rules: AncientCursedScrollItem.roll() now rolls part by part over the six CursedSpeechRegistry.Part slots, with at most one word per part; the hit chance decays by x0.62 each step, so more words means rarer. If nothing was rolled, a fallback word is granted for the first exclamation slot.
Left-click chanting: left-clicking a target while holding the scroll triggers onLeftClickEntity, which runs castFromScroll:
a missing slot is filled with a random word from the two lowest rarity tiers of that part, and the word is learned first so the validity check passes;
curse power cost is multiplied by 5 via the tnl_scroll_cast flag;
the scroll is consumed only when the chant actually starts (CurseChant.isChanting).
Air swings: new PacketScrollCast plus the client-side ScrollAirSwingHandler (InputEvent.InteractionKeyMappingTriggered) so swinging at air also casts.
7. Engineering and Tooling
The temporary diagnostic probes written during this round have been removed.
Cleanup: 38 temporary tools\_tmp_* files and directories were deleted (no existing artwork was touched).
Added tools/_add_jei_lang.py (writes Chinese language keys through Python to avoid the pwsh -Command encoding pitfalls).
Verification
check-json: bad 0 (2070 files in common).
gradlew singleJar: BUILD SUCCESSFUL.
Artifact: tinkersnewlife-1.0.1.21.jar (15,632,859 bytes), deployed to both instances.
Not yet tested in-game: the true-damage and seal changes, the new doll dance, the "Little Wish" obtainability and animated texture, the scroll refresh rules and left-click chanting, and the two JEI info pages.

Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.20
2026-10-09 | Requires Forge 47.4.22+ | Minecraft 1.20.1
This is the "Long-Short Blade" release. It completes the new weapon type introduced in the previous version: per-context × per-form models, material tinting, a dash-based thrust and thrust afterimages. It also fixes a duplication exploit with the offhand "partner blade", fixes the slingshot's missing upper limb, and adds an automatic Tinkers part-texture generation step at startup.
Added
Weapon: Long-Short Blade (dual wield + two forms)
One tool, one blade in each hand: while the main hand holds it, a "partner blade" is placed in the offhand with the opposite form (long / short).
Vanilla F (swap offhand) is the form switch — the form travels with the item stack, so no extra key.
Long form
Alternating swings (main hand and offhand take turns; the offhand swing uses its own animation path).
Melee hits build fever (1 per hit, capped at 100).
Thrust: dash forward for 160% damage, invulnerable during the dash.
Kill aura: continuous damage within a 2 block radius; the player model raises both arms and spins rapidly while active.
Short form
Hold right-click to charge, release to throw (a projectile is thrown; the weapon itself never leaves the player). On impact it detonates a 3 block non-destructive explosion that counts as the player's kill (loot / XP work normally).
Execution: targets below 20% health take 500% damage, with a left-arm swing.
Every skill costs durability: thrust 2 / aura 10 / execution 3 / throw 2 (through Tinkers' own durability API, so Reinforced and similar modifiers are respected).
Per-context × per-form models (four texture sets)
Inventory not-held, inventory long, inventory/held short, held long — four independent looks.
Implemented with custom ItemOverrides plus applyTransform: context (inventory / in hand) and form (long / short) are resolved in two separate stages.
Material tinting: all four context models go through Tinkers' material resolution, so the textures change colour with the material.
Thrust afterimages
While dashing, the server broadcasts position and rotation every 2 ticks to every player that can see the entity.
The client caches the afterimages; each lives 0.35 s, fades by its remaining lifetime, and is drawn again with the same model.
Your own afterimage is hidden in first person (visible in third person).
Automatic part-texture generation at startup (configurable)
New config option auto_part_textures.enable_auto_part_textures, on by default.
On reaching the main menu it runs the Tinkers part-texture generator once in "missing only" mode.
If nothing was generated (0 entries) it does nothing at all (the resource pack is left untouched).
When something was generated, the generated resource pack is force-enabled and moved to the top.
⚠ Tinkers' generator is not fault tolerant per entry, so one failure aborts the whole run. We wrap it in exception handling, so it never crashes the game, and the reason is written to the log.
New material variant textures
Added the neptunium / promethium / malicious_star_spirit (and others) part textures for tools and armour — over 1700 files.
Fixed
The slingshot's upper limb was not drawn
When the slingshot's parts were changed to one tool handle + one bow limb + one bowstring, the item model was only told about three of the bow's four geometry pieces. A geometry piece that is not listed in a Tinkers tool model's parts list is not rendered at all, so the upper limb was simply missing from the item.
The model now lists all four pieces: limb_bottom and limb_top both map to the bow limb part (there is only one limb part, so both limbs share its material and keep their own textures), grip maps to the tool handle and bowstring maps to the bowstring.
On top of that, the broken model still carried the old indices: its upper limb pointed at the tool handle and it had no grip entry at all, so a broken slingshot was drawn without its handle. Both models now use the same mapping.
Offhand "partner blade" duplication
Taking the offhand blade used to trigger an immediate refill, allowing infinite copies. The rule is now "leaving the offhand destroys it, and an empty offhand refills it" — the refill is always the single blade, so the total count never increases.
Partner blade vanishing from the main hand after swapping hands
The main hand is actually the selected hotbar slot, which is inside the inventory scan, and it was being cleared as a stray. Both hands are now excluded (slot index plus instance identity).
Thrust afterimages never appeared
The broadcast used "players tracking this entity", but a player does not track itself in vanilla, so single-player received nothing. It now uses "tracking this entity and itself".
Thrust is no longer a teleport
It now applies forward velocity and lets the engine move the player (collisions, steps and fluids are handled by vanilla).
Notes
⚠ Not included in this version: per-entry skipping when the Tinkers generator fails (Tinkers only has a single outer try, so its loop cannot be fixed from outside; it would require calling it per material instead). Left for a follow-up.
Harmless pre-existing log noise: Missing textures in model … and [模型] 没找到 tinkersnewlife:item/spear.

This is the "Malicious Star Spirit" release: a full crossover set for Goety x Enigmatic Legacy (a new ingot, four new fluids plus an alloy chain, a new Tinkers material, three new traits and a complete waiver of the Seven Curses), plus a fluid search box for the melter / alloyer that supports Chinese input and pinyin. It also fixes a server crash caused by self-recursive dragonsteel explosions, a batch of whip feel issues, and several problems reported from testing.
Added
New material: Malicious Star Spirit (requires both Goety and Enigmatic Legacy)
Sinister Glow Ingot: a 16x80, 5-frame animation (4 ticks per frame, exactly 1 second per loop).
Four new fluids: Liquid Ectoplasm (300), Liquid Evil (1200), Watcher Ectoplasm (1800), Flowing Stardust (2000), plus Molten Sinister Glow (2000) and Molten Etherium (1950). Textures reuse the vanilla Tinkers molten base with a palette derived by luminance percentile.
Alloy chain: ectoplasm + evil essence + astral dust + void echo + watcher ectoplasm + molten etherium produce molten sinister glow (1850 mb in, 360 mb out, 2000 degrees).
Obtaining it: two Goety forge ritual recipes (master forge when Goety Revelation is present, plain forge otherwise; identical materials and cost), each yielding 4 ingots.
Full melting / casting / re-casting set, plus re-casting for the three source materials.
Tinkers material "Malicious Star Spirit" (tier 4, Enigmatic Legacy required): all 12 part stats sit 5%-10% below Divine Gold, and it works for head, handle, binding, all four armor plates, maille, shield plating, bow limb and bow grip.
Colours in both places: mantle/colors.json (name text colour) and assets/.../tinkering/materials/malicious_star_spirit.json (part/tool tinting, seven-step palette), with the palette keeping both the purple and the light blue.
Three new traits
Seven Curses Bound (general, no level): usable only while wearing the Cursed Ring and having spent at least 99% of your time in the world under the curses. Otherwise items carrying the trait in hand / armor / offhand / curios are moved back into the inventory (or dropped) every 20 ticks. Playtime is read from Enigmatic Legacy's own vanilla statistic first (so it can be tweaked with /scoreboard while debugging), with a self-counted fallback.
Spiritual Ether (tools, including ranged): kills randomly grow one of seven stats (durability, attack damage, attack speed, mining speed, accuracy, velocity, draw speed), 0.1%-1.5% per level, capped at 1000%; each level adds +0.5 block reach, and hits have a 1% per level chance to apply Frost and other debuffs. Melee tools only grow stats they actually have (the check uses Tinkers' tool_actions module, so only bows and crossbows grow the ranged stats).
Transcendent Dimension (armor): kills grow a random stat (durability / armor / toughness) per piece and always add all-type damage reduction (0.05% per level per kill, capped at 80%). At 4 total levels all Seven Curses are waived (tooltip lines struck through and replaced).
Complete waiver of the Seven Curses (at 4+ total Transcendent Dimension)
Doubled damage taken, neutral mobs attacking you, -30% armor effectiveness, -50% damage to monsters, eternal burning, soul shattering on death and incurable insomnia are all waived. The soul-shattering curse no longer spawns crystals; items follow the normal death drop logic.
Melter / Alloyer: fluid search box
JEI syntax (space = AND, | = OR, - = exclude, @mod, #tag), plus matching on Chinese names, English ids and display names, plus pinyin when a pinyin search mod is present.
Typing Chinese directly through the IME works; matches are re-packed compactly and stay highlighted.
Other additions
Momo at 30+ favour unlocks a trade row: 1 Gheloth Remains for 1 Mofeng Baizhi fufu.
fumo stonecutting: skins can be converted into each other (10 recipes).
Two new fumo skins: 78lin fufu and Luochen fufu.
New docs: docs/穿透与穿甲全流程.md (pierce / armor-pierce flow) and docs/善恶系统·条目表.md (conscience system tables, plus a plain-text version).
Conscience value caps now grow over time: cap 0 at first, +2 per in-game day, up to 50.
Fixed
Server crash from self-recursive dragonsteel explosions: the fire effect dealt manual hurt damage with an attacker-owned explosion source, which re-triggered its own LivingAttackEvent, causing chained explosions and a StackOverflowError. A recursion gate was added; effect strength is unchanged.
Whip feel: overshoot swinging behind you after a lash, the tip sinking into the ground, the swing direction being fixed to one side, a new lash spawning instead of reusing the live one, and lashes not benefiting from bowstring ranged modifiers (the whip was not in tconstruct:modifiable/ranged).
Whip mark: the next lash deals +10% damage per stack (up to 8 stacks, x1.8) without consuming them.
Removed the hard Patchouli dependency: GUIDE_BOOK is now optional both at declaration and at runtime, falling back to a plain item instead of failing the whole mod load.
Ice and Fire community edition compatibility: the mods.toml version range was widened to [1.0.0,).
fumo placed from a stonecutter no longer reverts to the default skin when broken and replaced.
Water poured during a merged Twin Ring domain can now be cleared after the merge ends.
Ancient curse scrolls: chest drop rate cut to one third, and they only appear in chest loot (no longer from fishing).
The music disc now has a 20% chance in End City loot.
The Shift stat-growth tooltip now appends to Tinkers' existing stat line instead of adding a second line, and melee tools no longer show "draw speed".
Several own mistakes were fixed and documented: perStat overrides rather than merges default, material traits stack per part (which is what showed a level), reading vanilla stats threw an NPE until the ids were registered in CUSTOM_STAT, and material render files live under assets, not data.
Notes
Not everything in this release has been verified in game: the material and its parts, the four fluids and the rituals, the eight curse waivers, the three traits and their tooltips, the fluid search box and the two new skins all deserve a pass in game.
Implementation details for whips, piercing and the conscience system are in the dedicated documents under docs/.

# Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.18
> 2026-10-06 | Requires Forge 47.4.22+ | Minecraft 1.20.1
This is the big **Fumo doll** release: dolls became a skin system (drop in an image and a new doll
appears), they dance to music, and there is a new disc you can play yourself. It also fixes a batch of
in-game issues, including the witch-wand losing its focus when switched with Goety's own radial wheel,
and Soul Eater putting Soul Hunger on you.
---
## Added
### Fumo doll skins
* **Extracted a base class**: "what a doll looks like" now has exactly one definition, shared by the
block, the inventory/held item and the worn doll (helmet slot and curios).
* **Automatic skin scanning**: `assets/tinkersnewlife/textures/fumo/` is walked **at startup** - drop in
`<name>.png` (a 64x64 player-skin-style image) plus a translation key `item.tinkersnewlife.fumo_<name>`
and the doll registers itself on the next launch. No code change needed.
* **Ten dolls ship in this release**: **Mofeng Baizhi fufu** (default), **Yuejin fufu**, **Tiaodengjian fufu**,
**Summy fufu**, **Yanying fufu**, **Bian Cangqiong fufu**, **mogumogumo fufu**, **Xiyu fufu**,
**`_yueye_ fufu`** and **Yunli fufu**.
* **Their own creative tab**: every doll now lives in a dedicated **Tinkers' New Life · fumo** page; the
main tab no longer mixes dolls in with everything else.
* **Names follow the skin**: both the item name and the name **Jade** shows use that skin's own
translation key, instead of one shared name.
* **8-way placement**: a doll can be placed on the four cardinals and the four diagonals (it used to be
cardinals only). Dolls already standing in an existing world keep exactly the look and facing they had.
### Dolls dance to music
* **Friends' Wine integration**: when that mod's doll starts playing music, every one of our dolls within
**16 blocks** spins and does a jelly squash - on the **same rhythm** as that doll (the same 0.91667-second
cycle, one full turn and two squashes per cycle, the same compression and width ratios) - and stops
within about a second of the music stopping. This is a **soft dependency**: without that mod everything
starts up normally with no errors.
* **New music disc "朋友的酒🍺DJ版"** (track by **kkr**): drop it into a **vanilla jukebox** and every doll
within 16 blocks dances too - this one needs **no** other mod installed.
### Other integration work
* **Severing recipes for every linked mod's mobs** (454 of them), then narrowed by gear so boss equipment
is not farmable (415 left). Trophies, music discs, saddles and materials such as leather, scales, bones
and ectoplasm are deliberately kept.
* **Dual-title apostles**: double health; damage is multiplied by another 1.5 on top of the configured
multiplier (1.5 by default, so 2.25 in total); their loot table is rolled **twice**.
---
## Fixed
* **Witch wand: switching focuses with Goety's radial wheel made the focus vanish.** Our own "focus pouch"
kept mirroring its stored focus back over the staff's slot. That whole self-made layer (custom screen,
J/R keybinds, two packets, the mirror chain, the periodic correction and the auto-combo) has been
**deleted** - the focus now lives only in Goety's native staff slot and is managed by Goety's own wheel
and focus bag.
* **Soul Eater** now **imitates Goety's own Soul Eater enchantment**: only melee kills (or kills by your own
projectile) count, for souls x(level+1). The old implementation also caused Soul Hunger on yourself and
doubled only sometimes; both are gone (souls now go through Goety's `SEHelper.increaseSouls`), and a
one-time repair fixes soul state left broken by the old code.
* **A placed doll showed the wrong name**: the block entity now reports its own skin to **Jade**.
* **Breaking a doll dropped nothing**: the block had no loot table and no drop override; it now drops the
doll **with its own skin**, and creative pick-block returns the same.
* **Held/GUI dolls had no outer hair layer**: the item path used vanilla's hat thickness (0.25px, invisible
at the doll's scale) - it now uses the same thickened model as the block and the worn doll (0.6px).
* **The disc's grey description line showed twice**: vanilla `RecordItem` already adds `item.<id>.desc`,
and this mod's generic tooltip handler added it again; only vanilla's line remains.
* Cleaning up dangling tag entries that pointed at removed items.
---
## Changed
* Doll break particles are now **grey wool**, for every skin.
* Dolls stay still when no music is playing, and stop immediately when the music stops, the disc is taken
out or the jukebox is broken.
* The self-made focus-pouch screen and its keybinds are gone - use **Goety's own radial wheel** and focus bag
for witch mode.
---
## Notes
* The Friends' Wine integration is not required to play; it simply does nothing when that mod is absent.
* Disc audio `doll_music.ogg` is provided by the pack author and ships with the mod (track by **kkr**).
* To add a skin: put `<name>.png` into `assets/tinkersnewlife/textures/fumo/` and add
`item.tinkersnewlife.fumo_<name>` to both `zh_cn.json` and `en_us.json`, then restart.
**Export as PNG** - JPG has no alpha channel and shows a solid background.

Added
The whip
A new Tinkers weapon built from a tough handle, a large plate and a bowstring. It is not a club: the whip is a simulated rope (57 points) whose root is pinned to a hand that really swings, and the damage comes from the rope sections sweeping through a target fast enough.
Left click lashes. The swing itself deals no melee damage at all - what hurts is the lash. A lash takes about 7 ticks to script the hand through its arc and then lets the rope fly free for another 32 ticks; that flying section is what throws the whip and it is where the damage window sits. Damage scales with the whip's attack damage, and every target already hit by the same lash takes half of what the previous one took.
The reach is about 10 blocks. The rope's rest lengths are scaled up from the reference model (0.19 -> 0.44 per segment, total ~10.2 blocks) and the hand arc is correspondingly bigger.
Attack speed decides how often, not how hard. The drive is fixed at the reference's 3 tick windup plus 4 tick stroke, so a fast whip and a slow whip throw the rope exactly the same way; attack speed only sets the cooldown between lashes. (Stretching the drive with attack speed - an earlier idea - made slow whips unable to reach at all, so it is gone.)
The tip cracks because the mass taper makes it 1/15 of the root, and the per-particle speed cap rises from 82 to 190 blocks per second along the length.
The guard (right click)
Right click retracts the whip if a lash is still out (about eight ticks back into your hand) and then raises a guard for as long as you hold the button. The guard shows the shield pose in third person and the whip is raised toward your view in first person as well.
Perfect block - a hit landing within 0.5 seconds after you raise the guard, or pressing right click within 0.5 seconds after being hit, cancels the damage entirely, snaps the whip out and throws the whole damage back at the attacker. The guard then drops immediately, you must release right click before you can raise it again, and it goes on a 2 second cooldown.
Normal block - any other blocked hit is only reduced by 40 percent, and releasing the button puts the guard on a 1 second cooldown.
Blocking costs durability, using the shield formula (1 + floor(damage)), on a perfect block and a normal one alike. Swinging the whip costs 1 durability per lash.
Whip marks
Every time the whip connects with a creature it gains a stack of Whip Weaken: -10 percent movement speed and -10 percent attack damage per stack, up to 8 stacks (-80 percent). It lasts 10 seconds and every new lash refreshes it, so a target you keep lashing gets slower and hits softer while one you leave alone recovers. It is a real status effect, so it works on AI mobs, players and summons alike and shows up in the HUD and through /attribute.
Supervisor, a whip-only modifier
The whip can be given Supervisor (Dragon's Breath + Golden Apple + Nicholas' Blessing). Only the whip can take it.
With it the lash deals no damage at all and does managing instead:
Lashing anything of yours - any mob whose owner is you (pets, mounts and the like), plus Goety servants, your ring-of-one-mind partner, and their pets as well - stacks Strength and Speed on it, one level per lash up to level V, lasting 20 seconds and refreshed by every lash.
Lashing a villager has a 5 percent chance to restock it on the spot, for half the usual amount, at most 3 times per villager per day (counted on the villager itself, independent of the vanilla two-restocks-a-day rule).
Changed
The whip cannot mine
Its mining speed is 0 - both as a base value and as a 0 multiplier, so the contribution the large plate would otherwise make from its material is multiplied away too. It was never in a harvest tag in the first place; it carries only the weapon tags.
Slingshot
The recipe is now one tool handle + one bow limb + one bowstring, with the matching three-slot station layout.
Fired stones shatter where they land - 24 block-break particles of whatever was loaded, then the projectile is gone. The stone was consumed on firing either way, so nothing is lost; you just no longer have to pick the shot back up. Shots that hit a creature still fall like vanilla arrows and shatter when that fall ends.
Tang Hengdao and Dreadsteel sword qi
The arc is a flat fan-shaped mesh again, and it is oriented by the caster instead of by preset angles:
The circle's centre sits on the caster, so the arc is concave towards you and convex away - the blade light carries the caster's position so every client draws it the same way.
The arc's plane is tilted about 20 degrees off the straight-at-the-target direction. A plane that contains both you and the arc is edge-on when you look straight at it, which is what used to degenerate into a thin line; the tilt keeps it readable without aiming it away.
Each stage now rotates the whole arc plane about the player-to-target axis, so the four-hit combo fans out around the target instead of drawing four arcs on top of each other. Mirroring, band width and the golden-angle offsets still tell the stages apart.
Fixed
Broken-state textures for the whip
New handle_broken / plate_broken / bowstring_broken part textures, derived from the hand-drawn part art (60 percent darker, two cracked pixels mid-span, a small chip off each end, and only pixels that already exist are touched so the silhouette never gains stray pixels). The broken model points at them again, so a whip at zero durability shows a chipped whip rather than missing textures.
Dangling tag entries that were breaking whole Tinkers tags
The removed weapon (the SlashBlade-style katana) had been taken out of the mod, but references to its items were still sitting in this mod's tag files. In 1.20.1 a tag fails to load as a whole if any of its entries points at an item that does not exist, and that failure cascades along tag dependencies - in practice tconstruct:modifiable/durability and, through it, aoe, bonus_slots, harvest, melee/sword, melee/primary, interactable/right, multipart and weapon failed to load, so this mod's tools silently lost their durability, weapon and melee tags. All of it is cleaned up now: the leftover entries, the removed cast items and the references to deleted tags are gone, all 184 tag files parse, and a cross-check of every tinkersnewlife: reference against the ids this mod registers comes back empty.
The slingshot's upper limb was not drawn
When the slingshot's parts changed to one tool handle + one bow limb + one bowstring, the item model was only told about three of the bow's four geometry pieces - and a piece that is not listed in a Tinkers tool model's parts list is not rendered at all, so the upper limb was missing. Both the normal and the broken model now list all four: limb_bottom and limb_top both map to the bow limb, grip to the tool handle and bowstring to the bowstring.
Removed
Every remaining trace of the removed weapon - its part textures and item models, its part-texture generator entries, its language keys (item names, its five exclusive modifiers, recipe messages, creative tab text and station slot labels), its mixin config comments and 173 leftover comment markers in eight shared source files. The four mentions that are about the SlashBlade mod rather than that weapon were deliberately kept.
Notes
The whip is a port of Better Whips (MIT, my2167592261-cell): the rope, the anchors, the drives, the constraint family and the damage formula are ports; the entity, the item, the renderer and the contact loop are this mod's own. See LICENSES/BetterWhips-MIT.txt, which also ships inside the jar.
Known simplifications on the whip: block collision is per-point depenetration rather than swept capsules, the idle coil flourish is not implemented, and the arm is not posed by a renderer mixin.

Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.16-hotfix2
A hotfix release on top of 1.0.1.16-hotfix. Everything listed below is what has changed since that build, so this one file covers the whole update.
Fixed
Critical - the Tinkers tags stopped loading
In 1.20.1 a tag fails to load as a whole if any of its entries points at an item that does not exist, and that failure then cascades through every tag that references it. Leftover entries from a removed weapon did exactly that, with two consequences:
tconstruct:modifiable/durability - together with aoe, bonus_slots, harvest, melee/sword, melee/primary, interactable/right, multipart and weapon - failed to load, so tools from this mod (Tang Hengdao, rapier, spear, slingshot, yoyo and the rest) silently lost their durability / weapon / melee tags.
Those failures cascaded up into tconstruct:modifiable itself, which dragged unrelated tags down with it (twilightforest:banned_uncraftables, parry:excluded_shields), and tconstruct:casts/* broke as well.
Every dangling reference has been removed.
The slingshot - the upper limb was not drawn
A geometry piece that is not listed in a Tinkers tool model's parts list is not rendered at all. The slingshot's model was only listing three of the bow's four pieces, so the upper limb was missing, and the broken-state model still carried the old part indices (its upper limb pointed at the tool handle and it had no grip entry, so a broken slingshot was drawn without a handle). Both models now list all four pieces: both limbs map to the bow limb part (they share its material and keep their own textures), the grip maps to the tool handle and the bowstring maps to the bowstring.
The slingshot - stone shots shatter when they land
Fired stones no longer stick in the ground waiting to be picked up. The moment a shot lands it bursts into block-break particles - the particles of the stone that was actually loaded, so a cobblestone shot gives cobblestone chips - and then the projectile disappears. The stone was consumed when the shot was fired either way, so nothing is lost: you just no longer have to walk over and pick it up.
Changed
The slingshot is now built from one tool handle, one bow limb and one bowstring
All three are standard Tinkers parts, so nothing new has to be crafted or patterned - the part builder patterns and casts you already own are enough. (Tinkers' own javelin is a tool handle plus a bow limb, and its fishing rod a bow limb plus a bowstring; the slingshot now sits in the same family.)
The Tinker Station layout was re-arranged into a diagonal, matching the requested order:
复制
a a = bowstring (22, 32)
b b = bow limb (34, 44)
c c = tool handle (46, 56)
Slot labels were renamed accordingly (bow limb, tool handle, bowstring) in both languages, and the guide book entry plus the group description describe the new recipe.
Please note two side effects: with one bow limb instead of two the bow stats contributed by materials are roughly halved, so a slingshot fires a little slower and weaker than the two-limb version at equal materials; and slingshots built before this update stored their materials against the old part order, so an old tool should be rebuilt if its stats look odd.
Notes
Tags are built when a world loads, so restart the game after updating for them to be rebuilt.

# Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.16-hotfix
A hotfix on top of **1.0.1.16**. Everything from 1.0.1.16 is unchanged except what is listed below.
## Fixes
### The slingshot can now be assembled at the Tinker Station / Tinker's Anvil
The slingshot's station data was incomplete, so the tool could not be put together in the
crafting interface even though the item itself existed. This is now shipped in full:
* **Station layout** (`tinkering/station_layouts/slingshot.json`): three input slots —
two `tconstruct:bow_limb` (bow limbs) and one `tconstruct:bowstring` (bowstring) —
laid out exactly like Tinkers' own longbow, with its own `sortIndex` that does not
collide with any other tool of this mod.
* **Tool definition** (`tinkering/tool_definitions/slingshot.json`): part list
`bow_limb / bow_limb / bowstring`, primary part 0, random tier-1 default materials,
base 120 durability / 0 attack damage / 1.0 attack speed, 1.25x durability multiplier,
1 ability slot + 3 upgrade slots.
* **Text**: the group title, the per-slot labels (bow limb / bow limb / bowstring) and the
group description now exist in both `zh_cn` and `en_us`, so the interface shows real names
instead of raw translation keys.
Verification done on this build: the game log reports `Loaded 38 station slot layouts` and
`Loaded 70 tool definitions` with **no error line for `tinkersnewlife:slingshot`**.
The `Missing textures ... _tconstruct_unknown` warnings in the same log are normal Tinkers
behaviour for a tool whose display stack carries no materials yet (several other tools of this
mod, including the yoyo, produce the same line) and do not affect the crafting interface.
## Notes
Nothing else was changed. This hotfix contains no new items, no balance changes and no
recipe changes beyond making the slingshot reachable in the station interface.

# Tinkers' Newlife 1.0.1.16
## New content
### New ranged tool: Slingshot
- Crafted at the Tinker Station from **two bow limbs + one bowstring**.
- **Hold right-click to draw** (the slingshot trembles while drawn, more the longer you hold) and release to fire.
- **Ammo: any stone or cobblestone in your inventory** (tag `tinkersnewlife:slingshot_ammo`, which includes `#forge:stone`, `#forge:cobblestone` and the vanilla fallbacks). Fired stones really fly and can be picked up again.
- **Airborne slam**: hitting an airborne target searches for the nearest land directly below it.
- Land found: the target is forced down and takes a burst of **kinetic damage** the moment it hits ground or water (this shot's impact + the distance fallen, capped at 60).
- Void below: the target is only tugged downwards for a moment and then released back to normal behaviour, with no damage - bosses such as the Ender Dragon are never dumped into the void.
- **Works on creative players too**: the kinetic damage uses this mod's own damage type `tinkersnewlife:kinetic`, which carries `#minecraft:bypasses_invulnerability`, so creative invulnerability cannot stop it; creative flight is force-disabled so the target can actually be dragged down.
### Aquaculture 2 integration - Neptunium
- New material **Neptunium** (tier 3 / diamond level) with the **Power of the Sea King** trait.
- Tools: in water or rain - no mining speed penalty, +50% attack speed, +60% damage.
- Armor: water breathing, clearer underwater vision, +20% movement speed and -30% damage taken in water or rain.
- Fishing rods: Luck of the Sea II + Lure I.
- Ranged weapons: projectiles ignore water drag.
- Full smeltery support: melting for ingots/nuggets/blocks/tools/armor (durability-aware) and casting back into ingots/nuggets/blocks, plus a repair kit for anvil repairs. The molten fluid is registered only when Aquaculture 2 is present.
### Lava Fishing integration - Promethium
- New material **Promethium** (tier 4 / netherite level) with the **Heat Lover** trait, matching the original mod's armor effects 1:1: 25% fire damage reduction per piece, clear vision under lava, slow healing and speed while hot, and walking on lava.
- Tools: +60% damage and faster mining while on fire or in lava.
- Ranged: projectiles set their target on fire.
- Molten Promethium fluid (own textures, bucket and creative tab entry), melting recipes for ingots/nuggets/blocks/armor/slingshot/ammo and casting back into ingots/nuggets/blocks. Registered only when Lava Fishing is present.
### Sand casts everywhere
- All 27 casting recipes now ship **single-use sand cast** variants alongside the reusable gold casts (previously only gold casts existed), matching Tinkers' Construct itself.
### Patchouli guide
- New material entries: **Neptunium**, **Promethium**.
- New tool entries: **Slingshot**, **Spear**, **Rapier**.
## Fixes
- The apostle patch config now lives under `config/mofengbaizhi/tinkersnewlife-apostle.toml` like every other config file of this mod.
- Slingshot model and part textures wired up correctly (missing/incorrect model data previously made the item render as a missing model).

**Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge 47.4.22+ · Tinkers' Construct 3.11.2+** (soft-requires Goety)
A curse-power-storage and ritual release: two new containers — the **Curse-Sealing Bottle** and the **Curse Vault** — plus the **Curse Crafting Ritual**, a multiblock that spends curse power itself to craft special gear.
---
## Highlights
### Curse Storage: the Bottle and the Vault
- **Curse-Sealing Bottle** — a wearable curse container (curio "Trinket" slot): stores up to **5,000** curse power, shown on its durability bar, and **keeps its contents on death**. It is also a fluid container, so a smeltery drain can fill it with Curse Residue.
- **Curse Vault** — a placeable 100,000-point curse storehouse that **binds the placer as its user**. Indestructible (bedrock-level hardness, blast-proof, pistons cannot move it), and picked back up with an empty hand while keeping every stored point of curse power.
- **Curse Residue** — a new fluid: **1 mb = 10 curse power**. Ancient Cursed Scrolls can be melted in a smeltery for it, and both containers accept and pour it back.
- **Spending is now one cascade everywhere**: curse core → worn bottle → bound vaults, and only then Goety soul energy (1 curse = 3 souls). Every technique, domain, summon and construct checks *and* spends against that same total, so an empty core no longer blocks you while your bottle and vaults are full.
- **Crosshair readout** — aim at a Curse Vault and its stored curse/capacity appear right under the crosshair (above 10,000 shown as e.g. `1.2w`).
### Curse Crafting Ritual (new multiblock)
- A **5×5×3** structure around a **Gheloth Ore**: nine seared lanterns, seared brick walls, soul fire, and a modifier worktable ring. The Patchouli guide ships a **visualisable sample structure** you can ghost-plot in the world.
- Put materials on the eight lanterns, hand the core old-god item to the lantern above the ore, and the ritual **drains 10 curse power per tick** until the product is done. Recipes are plain JSON (`data/tinkersnewlife/recipes/curse_craft/`) and show up in **JEI** (catalyst: Gheloth Ore).
- Two recipes ship with it: **Curse-Sealing Bottle** (500 curse) and **Curse Vault** (3,000 curse).
- Materials are matched **exactly**: one extra item means no match — nothing is ever consumed on a mismatch, and interrupting the ritual floats every material back to its own lantern.
### Construct (擬造) Hardening
- **Constructed blocks keep their nature**: re-picking up a constructed Curse Vault now returns a *constructed* item with its original expiry (previously it turned into a real, permanent vault). When a constructed block expires it dissipates with **no drop**.
- **Constructed Tinkers' gear is real gear again**: Tinkers' recipes report a bare item, so a constructed tool/armor used to come out with no materials at all. The construct now copies the materials from the **same item you are wearing or carrying** (falling back to Tinkers' own random-material builder).
- **Fixed**: the constructed RevelationFix Divine Gold armor was built as a proxy item and therefore could not be equipped or rendered — such items are now constructed as real copies.
- No more "Constructed Air" shells: if a target cannot be resolved, construction refuses instead of handing you an empty item.
### Jade Integration
- Aiming at a **Curse Vault** now shows **who its owner is** (plus stored curse and residue) in Jade, using Forge's login-name cache — no extra data stored, works offline, and self-heals for old saves.
### Iron's Spells & Modular Staff
- The modular staff can **cast Iron's Spells again**: the soft-dependency was checking a mod id that never matched (`ironsspellbooks` vs `irons_spellbooks`), which silently disabled the staff's whole spell feature.
### Black Bird Manipulation: look-direction flight
- **W / S** now fly along your **full look direction** — look up to climb, **look down to descend** (previously the only vertical input was Space, so the bird could only go up). A / D still strafe horizontally, Space still gives an extra ascent, and Shift is still the dive-bomb.
## Fixes
- **Ritual interaction** could do nothing at all because the lanterns were expected one block too high; the guide's structure page now matches the code exactly.
- Floating ritual materials used to drift up out of reach and become unretrievable; the core lantern also reported "0 materials" even with a full setup.
- Right-clicking an empty lantern no longer steals the material from a neighbouring one.
- The **Curse Vault** could not be picked up in survival (vanilla skips block interaction while sneaking with a full offhand) — pick-up now runs off the interaction event, works with an empty main hand regardless of the offhand, and left-click works too.
- Using a bottle on a vault could **duplicate** Curse Residue; pouring/drawing is now a plain fill/drain with the container written back.
- A stray trailing comma in the language files made **every mod text show up as a raw key** — fixed, and both language files are now validated strictly on every change.
- Servant/creative-tab polish: no more material-variant spam for slime skulls, and creative-tab tools fall back to Tinkers' own "first available material" logic instead of producing broken parts.
- A hard crash (`The stack count must be 1`) when a registry lookup returned air is gone — all registry lookups now go through a null-safe helper.
- Fixed a mid-ritual crash when the ritual structure was edited, and made all ritual state clean up safely on world unload.
## Guide & Documentation
- New Patchouli guide entries for the **Curse-Sealing Bottle**, **Curse Vault** and **Curse Residue**, plus **recipe pages** for both containers (core item, exact material list, curse cost and duration) linked to the ritual entry.
- The ritual entry includes a **multiblock page with the "Visualise" button**.
- **272 broken guide links** were fixed, and four items that were missing English names now have them.
## Under the hood
- Integration code is grouped per mod (`integration/<modid>/`) behind `ModList` checks — no `Class.forName` probing, no hard dependency on optional mods.
- Startup self-checks now **warn about misspelled mod ids** (both this release's `irons_spellbooks` and the construct risky-mod list's `goety_revelation` were silently dead for exactly that reason), and the blueprint compatibility report flags config entries that match no registered namespace.
- The Modrinth upload script now reads the version straight from `gradle.properties`, and the deploy script removes older mod jars so two versions can never load side by side.

# Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1.7
**Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge 47.4.22+ · Tinkers' Construct 3.11.2+** (soft-requires Goety)
A servant-combat and Goety-integration release: Goety minions finally fight like real Tinkers' users, and the Soul Mender can now repair your Tinkers' gear.
## Highlights
### Goety Servants Fight with Tinkers' Weapons & Armor
- **Melee weapons** — right-click your own Goety servant while holding a Tinkers' melee weapon to equip it (old weapon drops, no drop chance, consumes one copy).
- **Bows & Crossbows** — ranged servants (RangedAttackMob skeletons) now wield Tinkers' bows *and* crossbows: they aim, charge and fire like vanilla, and **arrows inherit the weapon's modifiers and projectile damage** so modifier builds work at range.
- **Crossbow support fixed** — servant ranged AI previously recognized bows only; both launcher types are now handled.
- **Armor** — servants can wear Tinkers' armor (respecting Goety's wear rules); every armor trait/passive they wear actually works on them.
### Attack Modifiers Now Work on Any Weapon-Wielding Creature
- Hit-on-hit modifier effects (Dragonsteel, Dreadsteel, Cosmic, Infusion, Child of the Stars, Fus Ro Dah, Dark Metal breaker, etc.) trigger for **any living entity** holding a Tinkers' weapon, not just players — monsters and servants included. Player-only hooks (charms, corruption, Hastur, kill drops) stay player-gated.
### Dragonsteel Fire & Lightning Are No Longer Self-Destructive
- **Dragonflame (fire)** — no longer uses a raw explosion that hurts you when fighting point-blank; it now shows a visual burst and deals manual, precisely-targeted damage that **never hits the wielder**.
- **Dragonsteel Lightning** — the bolt is visual-only; the actual strike uses vanilla thunder-hit rules that **never damage the holder**.
- Both effects **no longer destroy dropped items** on the ground.
### Soul Mender Repairs Tinkers' Gear (Goety)
- The Goety **Soul Mender** now accepts Tinkers' tools *and* armor. Place a damaged tool into the mender and it **floats inside the block, spinning** (0.6× scale) while souls are drained from a **Cursed Cage directly below** (1 soul per repair, ~0.5s per point).
- Faithful to the original: **blue soul-flame particles** every second, the **fire-ambient sound**, and a **smoke burst** when the item is finished.
- Right-click = put first, take back otherwise (chat tells you why if it can't). The item is a no-collision display entity visible to **all players** and survives restarts; finished items pop out as pickable drops.
### Soul Repair Now Also Mends Servant Gear
- The **Soul Repair** modifier now scans your Goety servants' armor/weapons too, repairing their Tinkers' gear by spending **your** (the master's) souls — never repairs at full durability, never wastes souls.
## Fixes
- Fixed a server crash (ConcurrentModificationException) when a repair finished.
- Fixed "souls consumed but durability never repaired" on the Soul Mender.
- Servant armor/weapon passives now respect "works on any wearer" consistently (night vision, fire resistance, Star Child max-health, Cursed Adrenaline speed boost, etc.).

Tinker's Newlife 1.0.1 · Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge 47.4.22+
This release centers on the Cursed Power Core (咒力核心) system — the mod's largest update yet. The Curse Core is rebuilt from a plain accessory into the heart of a full Jujutsu-style power system: curse power, techniques, domains, New Shadow skills, rituals and shikigami, all built on the Tinkers' Construct pipeline.
Cursed Power & the Curse Core
Reworked Curse Core — now crafted through a multiblock ritual (basin + molten metal + structure + experience, ~6 ingots of any compatible metal); the metal decides the core's material, stats and traits.
Curse Power (咒力) — players carry a real curse-power pool with its own HUD; capacity/regen scale with the core's Curse Output / Curse Total / Curse Affinity.
Curse Affinity — player-wide modifier dropped randomly (0–50) on wearable curios found in loot; feeds every technique/domain formula.
Soul fallback — when curse power runs out, the core draws on Goety soul energy (1 curse = 3 souls).
Curse Core traits now truly participate in combat hooks for techniques and domains.
Techniques (术式)
New technique slot on the Curse Core — cycle and cast with dedicated keys, HUD shows selection.
Techniques include: Yu Chu Zi, Blood Manipulation, Ratio Technique, Limitless (Infinity/Blue/Red/Purple), Reverse Cursed Technique, Ten Shadows (+10 tamed shikigami), Wu Wei (Idle Transfiguration), Cursed Speech, Curse Spirit Manipulation, Sky / Lightning / Plant / Flame Manipulation, Puppet, Conjuration, Projection, Black Bird, Anti-Gravity Mechanism, Jacob's Ladder, Cursed Energy Release and more.
Techniques are learned permanently from Ancient Curse Scrolls (loot).
Domains (领域)
12 expansion domains on a shared engine: black sphere rendering, entry/exit blocking, domain clashes, per-second curse cost.
Includes Unlimited Void, Zuo Sha Bo Tu, Taizang Bianye, Zhen Yan Xiang Ai, Qian He Ying Yi Ting, Tie Guan Gai Wei Shan, Zi Bi Yuan Dun Guo, Dang Yun Ping Xian, Shi Bao Yue Gong Dian, San Chong Ji Ku, Execution by Verdict, and the Fu Mo Yu Chu Zi domain.
Counterable by New Shadow skills: Mikoshi Kago, Falling Blossom and New Shadow Style: Simple Domain.
Rituals & Heavenly Restrictions
Heavenly Restriction - Tyrant: trade curse power for a pure physical body (cannot wear a Curse Core, Black Flash locked to 0).
Heavenly Restriction - Curse: trade body stats for +200 Curse Affinity and boosted output/total.
Mutually exclusive, persist through death; in-game command clears them.
New Content on Tinkers' Construct
New materials: Cursed Metal and Dark Metal (Goety) with full melting/casting chains and part textures.
New modifiers: Corruption, Soul Mending, Soul Eater, Spell Breaker, Magic Resist.
Momo, the weapon merchant — neutral full-moon merchant with trading GUI, hireable combat AI and boss support.
Cursed tools: Inverted Spear of Heaven, Prison Realm, Executioner's Sword, Playful Cloud and more.
QoL & Integration
Melt an entire tool in the Foundry to recover all material fluids at once.
Corrected metal volumes (1 ingot = 90 mb, matching TConstruct).
New config config/mofengbaizhi/tinkersnewlife-common.toml: Elder God event toggles, Curse Core crafting/usage master switch, per-technique/domain scaling coefficients.
Patchouli guide now ships in Chinese and English, entries auto-hide when their source mod is absent.
Cross-mod content is fully conditional — runs fine with or without Goety / Ice and Fire / Iron's Spells.
