2.3.1-26.2-neoforge27 авг. 2026 г.120Minecraft: 26.2neoforge
Что нового
- Renamed the former Soul Lantern to Ectoplasm Lantern. New content uses
`usefultoolsmod:ectoplasm_lantern`; `usefultoolsmod:soul_lantern` remains a
deprecated save-compatibility alias.
- Replaced the transparent `cube_all` Ectoplasm Lantern and Mining Charge blocks with bounded, solid-backed models on all modern targets; added state-complete charge orientation and armed-indicator variants.
- Made newly placed Mining Charges remain stable when their block-entity data has no saved fuse, and added dedicated unlit, lit, directional, and glass-platform visual evidence.
- Split modern inventory sprites from placed-block geometry and restored bounded selection/collision plus non-occluding rendering, preventing adjacent floors and walls from being culled behind transparent pixels.
- Added the equivalent Forge 1.7.10 repair with opaque generated block faces, bounded legacy blocks, and separate original inventory sprites.
- Repaired the Forge 1.7.10 Wraith spawn egg to use Minecraft's complete two-pass egg texture with Wraith-specific colors instead of requesting a missing overlay texture.
- Added Wraith WTHIT coverage wherever WTHIT is supported, including live Ectoplasm Lantern suppression and ectoplasm-infused weapon eligibility; WTHIT remains optional.
- Decoupled natural Wraith spawning from the Ghost enable switch; Wraith spawning now follows its own enable and chance controls while retaining its distinct hostile behavior.
- Fixed event-driven advancements, including the Wraith encounter advancement, to award their declared remaining criteria instead of assuming every advancement used a criterion named `trigger`.
- Reduced the paged 1.20.x/1.21.1 config layout to seven entries per page so loader-provided buttons no longer overlap Useful Tools navigation controls.
- Added a 16-target static resolver gate and expanded release-JAR checks for blockstate, model, texture, and item-model completeness.
- Preserved all registry IDs, recipes, configurations, save formats, and published compatibility bounds.

Fixed
- Spectral / Spectral-Infused armor mix-and-match — wearing a mix of native Spectral armor and ectoplasm-infused pieces now correctly hides the player from Ghosts. Previously the check was either-or (4 native or 4 infused), so any mixed loadout failed both branches and Ghosts could still see the player.
(EctoplasmArmorHelper.isGhostInvisible)
- Spectral-Infused armor tooltip — infused armor incorrectly showed "Can damage Ghosts". Armor doesn't damage Ghosts; tools/weapons do. Infused armor now reads "Hides you from Ghosts"; the damage line stays on tools and weapons. (new lang key tooltip.usefultoolsmod.ecto_armor_invisibility)
- Ghost spawn egg ignores config rate — using a Ghost Spawn Egg (or /summon, breeding, etc.) only succeeded ~15% of the time because ServerEntityEvents.ENTITY_LOAD was discarding any Ghost that failed Config.ghostSpawnChance, regardless of how it spawned. The rate gate has been moved into the
SpawnRestriction predicate (GhostEntity::checkGhostSpawnRules), which Minecraft only consults during natural spawning. Spawn eggs and commands now always succeed; the kill-switch (ghostEnabled = false) still discards on load. Matches the 1.20-Fabric behavior.
- Ghost spawn location restored to mid-air — SpawnRestriction was registered with SpawnLocationTypes.ON_GROUND, requiring solid blocks beneath spawn candidates. Ghosts fly with noGravity = true, so the 1.20-Fabric port used NO_RESTRICTIONS to allow floating spawns. Switched to
SpawnLocationTypes.UNRESTRICTED (the 1.21.1 equivalent) so natural spawns can occur in open air again.
- Removed two orphan advancement files (rgold_from_blasting_rgold, rgold_from_smelting_rgold) that referenced non-existent recipes — leftovers from the original 1.20-Forge JSON migration.
- Datagen completeness: ModBlockTagProvider and ModRecipeProvider were missing 14 block tags (3 needs_* + 11 incorrect_*) and the grenade/dynamite recipes. The static resources covered them at jar build time, but a fresh runDatagen would have lost them. Backfilled both providers.
- Spectral / Infused armor tooltip clarity — both tooltips now lead with "Full Set:" and use the same DARK_GREEN styling as other full-set lines, making it obvious the ghost-hiding effect requires a complete 4-piece set (any mix of native Spectral and Spectral-Infused). Was: "Ghosts will avoid you" /
"Hides you from Ghosts" in plain gray.

- Overpowered armor effects ignored config flags — ModArmorItem.inventoryTick was applying the OP-armor status effects (Jump Boost III, etc.) regardless of Config.overpowerEnabled and Config.opArmorEffectsEnabled. Now both flags are honored, matching 1.20-Fabric.
- Overpowered armor aura particles — the client tick was looking for a full OP armor set (4/4) before drawing the aura, and didn't gate on config. 1.20-Fabric draws an aura per OP piece worn (so 1–4 stacking auras) and respects both config flags. Restored that behavior, including the radial cos/sin
spawn pattern with a 50/50 mix of SOUL_FIRE_FLAME and ENCHANT particles instead of plain soul-flame spread.

# Useful Tools Mod - 2.2.0 Changelog
---
### Breaking Changes
The Emerald and Obsidian tool lines got renamed. "Jagged" is now "Rough" and "Smooth" is now "Polished" across the board, and the Smooth Emerald Ingot is now the Polished Emerald Ingot. These are new item IDs, not just cosmetic renames, anything you had in a world before may not translate/carry over. Making a new world is highly recommended.
- Jagged Emerald tools → Rough Emerald
- Smooth Emerald tools → Polished Emerald
- Jagged Obsidian tools → Rough Obsidian
- Smooth Obsidian tools → Polished Obsidian
Ferrous Gold Ore also no longer drops the ingot directly. It now drops Raw Ferrous Gold as is done in modern minecraft.
---
### Spectral Infuser
New crafting machine. It's a directional block (faces whichever way you place it) with an on/off lit state and a custom GUI. Used for Ectoplasm-related recipes. Shows up in JEI with its own recipe category, and WTHIT will display info on it when you hover over it.
---
### New Materials
A bunch of new craftable materials, each with a storage block:
- **Hardened Glowstone** — blaze powder + glowstone
- **Ectoplasm** — dropped by Ghosts
- **Refined Ectoplasm** — processed ectoplasm, higher tier
- **Coal Dust** — ground-up coal
- **Hardened Coal** — coal dust bound with clay
- **Calcified Amethyst** — new amethyst-based material
- **Glacial Shard** — ice-themed material
- **Polished Prismarine** — refined prismarine
- **Polished Quartz** — refined quartz
- **Raw Ferrous Gold** — now actually drops from the ore like it should
---
### New Tools & Armor
This update adds a lot of new sets. Here's the breakdown:
**Full sets (tools + armor):**
Coal, Hardened Glowstone, Ectoplasm, Calcite Amethyst, Polished Prismarine, Polished Quartz, Flint-Iron
**Tools only (sword/pickaxe/shovel/axe/hoe, no armor):**
Rough Ectoplasm, Rough Amethyst, Rough Prismarine, Rough Quartz, Rough Netherite Scrap, Rough Raw Gold/Iron/Copper/Ferrous Gold, Flint, Leather, and stone/wood variants: Andesite, Basalt, Smooth Basalt, Blackstone, Calcite, Tuff, Sandstone, Terracotta, Snow, Netherrack, Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, Cherry, Bamboo, Crimson, Warped
**Food armor sets (armor only, no tools):**
Cake, Bread, Dried Kelp, Melon, Sweet Berry, Pumpkin Pie, Mushroom, Pufferfish, Honey, Chorus Fruit, Golden Apple, Rotten Flesh
**Other armor sets:**
Rabbit Hide, Turtle Scute, Cactus, Bone, Clay, Brick, Nether Brick, Copper, Phantom Membrane, Magma Cream, Slime, Blaze, Nautilus, Purpur, Ghast Tear, Eye of Ender, Shulker, Echo Shard, Dragon Breath
---
### Set Effects
Most of the new armor sets have passive effects. Here's what each does:
**Coal** — tools have the Burning/Flammable trait. No armor effects beyond protection.
**Hardened Glowstone** — no special effects, but now supports armor trims.
**Ectoplasm** — wearing any piece causes Ghosts to avoid you. Full set lets you sneak into a wall to phase through it (up to 3 blocks). Tools can also damage Ghosts. Supports armor trims.
**Calcite Amethyst** — supports armor trims.
**Polished Prismarine** — water-based bonuses on each piece (Water Breathing on helmet, Resistance I on chestplate, Haste I on leggings, Slow Falling on boots, all while in water). Full set adds Dolphin's Grace in water.
**Flint-Iron** — tools let you sneak + right-click a block to place fire. Boots have a 4% chance to ignite nearby flammable blocks while walking. Full set makes fire on you burn out about twice as fast. Supports armor trims.
**Cake** — Saturation (helmet), Regen I (chestplate), Jump Boost I (leggings), Speed I (boots). Full set: Absorption I.
**Bread** — Luck I (helmet), Saturation (chestplate), Jump Boost I (leggings), Speed I (boots). Full set: you don't lose hunger.
**Dried Kelp** — Night Vision (helmet), Water Breathing (chestplate), Haste I (leggings), Dolphin's Grace (boots). Full set: Conduit Power.
**Melon** — Water Breathing (helmet), Regen I (chestplate), Jump Boost I (leggings), Speed I (boots). Full set: slowly restores hunger passively.
**Sweet Berry** — Saturation (helmet), Regen I (chestplate), Jump Boost I (leggings), Speed I (boots). Full set: deals 1 heart back to anything that hits you. Tools deal +1 bonus damage.
**Pumpkin Pie** — Endermen ignore you (helmet), Absorption I (chestplate), Jump Boost I (leggings), Speed I (boots). Full set: Luck I.
**Mushroom** — Night Vision (helmet), Resistance I (chestplate), Jump Boost I (leggings), Haste I (boots). Full set: inflicts Nausea on nearby hostiles. Tools inflict Nausea on hit.
**Pufferfish** — Conduit Power (helmet), Poison immunity (chestplate), Resistance I (leggings), Water Breathing (boots). Full set: inflicts Poison on nearby hostiles. Tools inflict Poison on hit.

Most importantly, repaired ore issues, fixed datagen to better match 1.20.1 standards across all areas (tools to achievements). In total there are more random fixes in this version than I can think to name.
This should be the final release for 1.20.1 in terms of game features, and most closely matches the current 1.21.1 release it is based on.
(Ghost was already rare in 1.21.1 but in this version it's especially uncommon. Use an egg in creative if you want to see it. I made the model when I was a kid so it is very goofy.)

Added reinforced Lapis Lazuli, with tools and armor to match.
Readded OP tool potion effects from old version and added flame effects for cool factor.
Fixed typo in name of Reinforced Gold Sword.
Adjusted Jagged vs Smooth variants for better balancing.
Lowered spawn rate of ???? entity slightly.
1.21.1 is now beyond feature complete compared to the old 1.7.10 version. This is now the recommended version to use.

**UPDATED TO 1.21.1: The mod had to be completely rewritten for this update.**
**Major changes:**
**Iron nugget is now a vanilla item, it was removed entirely from this mod. Recipes using it have been adjusted from the 1.7.10 version.**
**OP Tools no longer have their own enchantments/status effects, now only the armor provides effects.**
**OP Armor effects only take effect in 1.21.1 when all pieces are worn at once.**
**OP effects have been turned down.**
**Tool and armor values have been changed due to complaints about the old versions, for example jagged tools now tend to do higher damage but break sooner, or have different enchantment properties.**
**Reinforced gold ore renamed to 'Ferrous Gold Ore' and now has variants for deepslate, nether, and end.**
Minor changes:
Now using datagen and worldgen to propogate block and item info more efficiently.
Explosion radius and intensity changed for Dynamite and Grenade.
Grenade Entity updated to have better timing and collision.
Since entire mod was rewritten, some changes may be missed. Experimentation and another mod like JEI or REI is recommended. Thanks for the last 10 years of minecraft fun.
