SurvivalUtils

This is a Minecraft plugin for Java servers version 1.18 and above that adds a variety of survival utilities to enhance the gameplay experience.

Description

SurvivalUtils is a plugin designed for Minecraft servers that provides additional settings and features to improve the survival gameplay. With this plugin, you can customize various aspects of the game, including Enderman behavior, Creeper explosions, TNT damage, and crop trampling.

Features

SurvivalUtils comes with the following built-in settings:

  • allowEndermanBreak: Allows or disallows Endermen from breaking blocks.
  • allowEndermanPlace: Allows or disallows Endermen from placing blocks.
  • allowCreeperGrief: Allows or disallows Creepers from damaging blocks.
  • allowCreeperDamagePlayer: Allows or disallows Creepers from damaging players.
  • allowCreeperDamageOther: Allows or disallows Creepers from damaging other entities.
  • allowTntGrief: Allows or disallows TNT from damaging blocks.
  • allowTntDamagePlayer: Allows or disallows TNT from damaging players.
  • allowTntDamageOther: Allows or disallows TNT from damaging other entities.
  • allowPlayerCropTrample: Allows or disallows players from trampling crops.
  • allowOtherCropTrample: Allows or disallows other entities from trampling crops.

Installation

  1. Download the latest release of the SurvivalUtils plugin from the GitHub repository.
  2. Place the downloaded JAR file into the plugins folder of your Minecraft server.
  3. Restart the server to load the plugin.
  4. Configure the plugin settings in the config.yml file located in the plugin's folder.
  5. Start playing Minecraft with the added survival utilities!

Paper compatibility for this release follows the Minecraft versions listed on Modrinth. The same JAR passed the required automated server checks on each listed version. Compatibility validation: automated Paper server checks. Manual client and UI checks were not performed. Platform compatibility: This release passed 17 automatic checks directly on Paper for each of its 29 listed Minecraft versions. Bukkit and Spigot support on those versions is inferred from its Bukkit API usage and production code that is byte-for-byte identical to the platform test JAR. That test JAR passed all 17 automatic checks directly on pinned CraftBukkit and Spigot builds for Minecraft 1.20.3, 1.21.2 and 26.1. Player-driven UI checks were not performed.
