## Multiplayer - Warping multiplayer improvements ## Interface - The Classic / Dark Souls II theme switch now has its own button on the main Options screen. + minor bug fixes

## Combat - Dual wielding: with a sword in each hand, both blades swing two hits per swing at double the stamina cost, and both blades wear down. ## Souls - Souls income now scales with where you are: caves pay roughly double, the deepslate depths more, and the Nether and End pay well beyond that. - New ring: the Silver Serpent Ring slain foes yield half again as many souls. A rare random drop from hostile mobs. ## Balance - Raw meat and rotten food are much weaker: shorter buffs, and no defense from uncooked flesh.

Minor Message fixes

- added in game messages - you can leave your own messages in the world with the **Orange Soapstone** - A few messages near spawn teach the basic controls.

## Economy changes - Level-up costs have been rebalanced - Soul rewards rebalanced ## Cat Ring - New ring: greatly reduces fall damage - it is a craftable ring ## Crafting Menu Overhaul - added crafting catalogue

## Souls Jump - New movement mechanic: press C while sprinting for a committed Dark Souls leap, it has more air acceleration and less fall damage. ## Combat changes - chip damage (poison, fire) no longer staggers the player - added a health draining mechanic (applies to poison and wither effect) - Stamina regenerates noticeably slower across the board, scaling with Endurance.

Walk back and press R to recover them - **Hollowing** each death costs 6% max HP (up to -30%).
