2026.10.28 // Version 2.0.9 // Fixed the Sleep Demon often teleporting you right back onto your bed. Fixed an issue that caused the demon at the foot of your bed to be invisible. Setting the minimum teleport distance above the maximum no longer causes an error, and on 1.19.2 the health drop can no longer kill you.

2026.10.21 // Version 2.0.7 // Fixed a small memory leak on long-running servers: the demon at the foot of your bed left a tiny background task behind every time it appeared. The download is also much smaller now.

2026.09.21 // Version 2.0.6 // Plays nicely with spawn-control mods like InControl now. If another mod blocks the Sleep Demon from spawning, the whole scare is called off: no teleport, no jump to midnight, no darkness and no lost health. You just keep sleeping. Thanks to RandomPhail for the report!

2026.08.12 // Version 2.0.4 // The demon that appears at the foot of your bed no longer creeps toward you while you sleep. It now stands dead still and twitches in place. Only the demon that turns up after you're dragged out of bed will come after you. Fixed a crash on dedicated servers caused by the config screen loading client-only code, and the Sleep Demon now shows its proper name instead of a raw text ID in death messages.

2026.03.31 // Adjusted the available config. ranges for spawn distances and darkness duration, and made the messages that are displayed when the player is teleported configurable. Lengthened the amount of time the message lives on the screen (from 1.5 seconds to about 4 seconds). Thanks for the feedback Revenge!

2025.06.08 // Initial Modrinth upload. The sleep demon will now watch the player sleep randomly (based on the configured spawn chance) and the config file has been cleaned up/polished a little bit.
