# Update Notes ## Fixed Broken Blacklist Rules A new option, `advanced.blacklist-regex` (default `true`): - **Enabled (default)**: patterns are treated as Java regex, matched against the full relative path, with separators normalised to `/` so behaviour is identical on Windows and Linux. - **Disabled**: patterns are treated as glob, still requiring a full match of the file name or path; use `**` to cross directories. Supporting changes: - `BlacklistEntry` now supports both modes, with a unified `matches(Path)` entry point. - An invalid pattern only skips that single rule and logs a warning, instead of affecting the rest. - The FTP external backup blacklist follows the same switch. - `ConfigMigrator` converts legacy glob patterns into equivalent regex on first migration; strings that already look like regex are preserved verbatim so correctly written rules are not broken. - Fixed a defect in `generateGlobFolderList` where the `"./" + glob` prefix never matched `relativize` output, meaning the glob branch **could never match any directory**. - A backup location that matches no directories now logs an explicit warning. This silent skip is precisely why the stalled world backup went unnoticed. ## Fixed Folia thread issues - `runSyncTaskAndWait` previously used an untimed `future.get()`, which would block forever if invoked from the global region thread. It now uses a 30-second timeout and propagates interruption correctly. Also fixed a defect where `finally { complete(null) }` would **mask task failures as successes**. - `runWorldTaskAndWait` now detects when it is already on the target region thread to avoid waiting on itself; callers log and continue when a single world fails, rather than aborting the whole backup. - `prepareForBackup` skips a world that fails to save instead of interrupting the entire run. - Added `Scheduler.runAsyncTask()`, providing a single path for async work with a fallback when `AsyncScheduler` is unavailable. - Bare threads in `SevenZipBackupApi` were replaced with scheduler-managed tasks so they can be cancelled on plugin unload. - Added `Authenticator.shutdown()`, called from `onDisable`, to cancel the OAuth polling task and eliminate task leaks after PlugmanX reloads. ## Dropbox Authorization Rework ### The Problem Dropbox does not support the device authorization grant (RFC 8628), so it cannot follow the Google/OneDrive approach. It now uses manual configuration instead: - Removed the dead `drivebackup.com` endpoints, the `Authenticator` client secret constant, and the old polling branches. - `/7zbackup linkaccount dropbox` now prints step-by-step instructions. - Added `dropbox.client-id` and `dropbox.client-secret` options: used preferentially when refreshing tokens, falling back to built-in values when empty. This is required because a `refresh_token` is bound to the App that issued it, so a token from a user-created App cannot be refreshed with the built-in credentials. - Changed `getString("msg")` to `optString` in `HttpLogger` to avoid exceptions when the field is absent. ## Corrected Version Requirements The plugin now requires 1.20+ server to run. ## Other Fixes - **`/7zbackup nextbackup` always failed**: `Scheduler.backupDatesList` was never populated, so `orElseThrow(NoSuchElementException)` propagated to the command thread. The list is now populated during scheduling, with a friendly message when empty. - **`/7zbackup update` failed silently**: the return value of `renameTo` in `Updater` was discarded. On Windows the plugin jar is held open by the JVM, so replacement almost always fails, yet the plugin still reported success. Now uses an atomic move → delete-then-move → explicit error fallback chain, and cleans up leftover temporary files on failure. - **`linkSuccess` config rollback**: the `enabled: true` written by `enableBackupMethod` was overwritten back to `false` by the subsequent `reloadLocalConfig` re-reading from disk. Ordering adjusted so the value is persisted first. - **OneDrive authorization failures**: the original error check only allowed `authorization_pending`, treating `slow_down` as fatal even though it is a normal intermediate state. Plugin now supports adjusting CPU-affinity to 7z executable again. By default plugin can make a full usage of all cores. Configure `cpu-cores-list` to specific CPU cores (comma-separated, 0 to N-1). "-1" means auto (use all cores). If any core number is an invalid core id, the plugin would fall back to the default (all cores). Fixed a bug from [#10](https://github.com/WindsorMacmillan/SevenZipBackup/issues/10)1 and [#11](https://github.com/WindsorMacmillan/SevenZipBackup/issues/11) , plugin now can run executable from the right path. 插件重新引入了CPU绑定功能。默认情况下插件会使用全部核心进行备份。 配置 `cpu-cores-list` 以指定使用的CPU核心（英文逗号分隔，编号从0到N-1核心）。“-1”表示使用全部核心。 如果有任何核心编号不可用，则会回退到默认（全部核心）。 插件现在可以在正确的路径下运行7z可执行文件。
