# SentinelX v2.0-b13 ## Fixes - **Rank cooldowns**: Players with inherited LuckPerms groups (for example mythical inheriting elite) could get the parent rank's cooldown. When several ranks match, the shortest cooldown now wins. - **Sub-command cooldowns**: `/fix all` now uses its own `fix all` entry and falls back to `fix` if no rank matches. Before, any command with arguments skipped its cooldown. - **Aliases**: Aliases now work with arguments (`/repair all` counts as `fix all`), and namespaced commands like `/essentials:repair` are handled. - **LuckPerms permission spam**: SentinelX no longer runs permission checks for commands that have no cooldown. Entries like `sentinelx.bypass.cooldown.msg <text>` stop appearing in the LuckPerms editor. - **Anti-VPN never detecting**: The ProxyCheck response was read with a broken text match, so no IP was ever flagged. Responses are now parsed as proper JSON. - **Anti-VPN retries**: The `retry-on-failure` and `max-retries` settings now work. - **Folia**: VPN staff alerts, Discord webhooks and the auto-mute command used the Bukkit scheduler, which Folia does not support. They now use Folia schedulers. ## New Features ### Cooldown Bypass Permissions - `sentinelx.bypass.cooldown.<command>` bypasses one cooldown. Write spaces as dots: `sentinelx.bypass.cooldown.fix.all` - `sentinelx.bypass.cooldown.all` bypasses every cooldown ### Chat Filter - Ops and players with `sentinelx.admin` skip all chat filters - Extra exempt permissions and LuckPerms groups in `chat.yml` under `exempt:` - `max-repeated-messages`: how many times in a row the same message can be sent (default 2) - `max-similar-messages`: same limit for similar messages (default 2) - `reset-after-seconds`: forgets the previous message after this time (default 60) - `{limit}` placeholder for the repeated and similar message warnings ### Anti-VPN - New `both` detection method: checks ProxyCheck.io and ip-api.com and blocks if either flags the IP - Detects VPNs through ProxyCheck's VPN field and shows the VPN operator name (for example ProtonVPN) - `block-hosting`: blocks datacenter and hosting IPs, where most paid VPNs run - `risk-threshold`: blocks IPs with a ProxyCheck risk score at or above this value - **Multiple ProxyCheck keys**: list them under `proxycheck-api-keys`. When one key runs out of daily queries, the next one is used. All keys are active again at midnight (`proxycheck-reset-timezone`, default UTC) - `proxycheck-keyless-when-exhausted`: tries ProxyCheck without a key once every key is used up - `whitelisted-players`: players that skip the VPN check - `debug`: prints every lookup and API response to console - Warns when players join from a local IP, which means your proxy is not forwarding real IPs - `{reason}` placeholder in staff alerts and a Reason field in the Discord webhook ### Colors - Hex colors with `&#FF4D6D` or `<#FF4D6D>` - Gradients with `<gradient:#FF4D6D:#FFB3C1>Text</gradient>`, with 2 or more colors and formatting like `&l` inside - Works in all messages, prefixes, kick screens, staff alerts and auto-command broadcasts - New rosy red default theme in `messages.yml` - Gradient startup banner and hex colored module list in console ## Updating - Your existing configs keep working. No regeneration needed. - Delete `messages.yml` to get the new rosy red theme, or keep yours. - Add the new `chat.yml` and `antivpn.yml` options manually only if you want to change the defaults. - The old single `proxycheck-api-key` setting is still supported. ## Technical - Minecraft: 26.x
