# 🌊 SchemFlow v0.5.17
**Fix:** `/schemflow` commands reply again on Minecraft 26.x.
### 💬 Fixed — commands didn't reply on 26.x
Every command reply (help, lists, errors, confirmations, "No permission") went through a bundled chat library (`adventure-platform-bukkit` 4.3.3) that predates Minecraft 26.x. On 26.x it drops every message without an error, so the commands ran but showed nothing. The developer API sends no messages and wasn't affected.
**Now** replies go through Paper's built-in messaging, using the server's own MiniMessage. The outdated library is removed from the jar.
### ✅ Verified
Purpur 26.2, commands from the console (on 26.3, `/schemflow help` replies too):
| Command | v0.5.16 | v0.5.17 |
|---|---|---|
| `/schemflow help` | no output | full help |
| `/schemflow list` | no output | replies |
| `/schemflow pos1` | no output | "Player only." |
Also verified on **Purpur 26.3 + FAWE 2.16.0**: the full map flow (export, provision, immediate unload + copy) keeps biomes, lighting and display-entity models intact (16384/16384 biome cells, 294/294 light cells, 8/8 riders).

# 🌊 SchemFlow v0.5.16
**Fixes:** provisioned maps keep their **display-entity models** and their **biomes**.
### 🪔 Fixed — display-entity models vanished from provisioned maps
Decorations built from many block/item/text displays riding one root entity (lamps, furniture and similar models) were missing after a paste. FastAsyncWorldEdit stores such a model twice: complete inside the root's `Passengers` list, and as separate top-level entries with **no data**. On paste it spawned only the empty entries (block displays of air, item displays without an item, blank text displays) and dropped the root's passengers.
**Now** SchemFlow spawns each root with its passengers mounted, from its complete data, and skips the empty duplicates.
- **Existing schematics are restored as they are. No re-export needed.**
- The data is parsed off the main thread. Spawning runs in small batches (`maps.entitiesPerTick`) and finishes before `provisionRoundWorld` completes, so a world unloaded or copied right afterwards keeps its models.
- New exports no longer write the empty duplicates.
### 🌸 Fixed — provisioned maps lost their biomes
Map exports never stored biomes, so a provisioned map took the biomes of the empty world it was pasted into: wrong grass, foliage, water and sky colours, rain instead of snow. Exports now store every block's biome (3D) and pastes write them back.
> Only maps exported with **0.5.16 or later** carry biomes. Re-export older maps to get them. A schematic without biomes leaves the world's biomes untouched.
### ✅ Verified
Purpur 26.2 + FAWE 2.15.4 and Paper 1.21.11 + FAWE 2.15.4: export, provision, then an immediate unload, copy and reload of the world.
| | v0.5.15 | v0.5.16 |
|---|---|---|
| Test scene (49 entities, 35 riding; 8 biomes in 3D) | 10/49 entities intact, 0/10240 biome cells | 48/49 identical in every field*, 10240/10240 |
| Production-sized map (46 models, 1702 displays) | 0 riding, 1104 empty displays | all 1702 back, 1656 riding |
\* the remaining one differs only in its interpolation start delay, which vanilla's own save drops.
Also covered: headless exports, `pasteAtOrigin=false`, old schematics (models restored, world biomes unchanged), and multi-line or special-character text, names and lore on riders. Main-thread cost on the production-sized map: 35–85 ms, spread over about 14 ticks.
### ⚙️ New config
Written into existing `config.yml` files on startup:
```yaml
maps:
copyBiomes: true # store biomes in map exports and paste them back
restorePassengers: true # rebuild entities riding other entities (display-entity models)
entitiesPerTick: 128 # entities spawned per tick while restoring them
```

# 🌊 SchemFlow v0.5.15
**Fix:** maps provisioned with `provisionRoundWorld` no longer come out dark.
### 💡 Fixed — provisioned round maps were dark
Maps were dark everywhere except right next to light sources. `provisionRoundWorld` completed as soon as the blocks were pasted, while FastAsyncWorldEdit was still relighting in the background. A caller that unloads or copies the world right away (for example to stage it as a game map) saved it before that relight finished: every block, but **no light**.
**Now:**
- every SchemFlow paste relights the pasted chunks (plus a one-chunk border) through the **server's own light engine** (Moonrise/Starlight, Paper 1.21+);
- off the main thread the paste **waits** for the relight, so `provisionRoundWorld` completes only once the map is lit;
- the light math runs on the light engine's worker threads. The main thread only loads and holds the chunks, 32 per tick.
### ✅ Verified
Provision, then unload and copy the world at once:
| Server | v0.5.14 | v0.5.15 |
|---|---|---|
| Purpur 26.2 + FAWE 2.15.4 | no light (0/900 shaded cells correct) | vanilla-correct light (899/900*) |
| Paper 1.21.11 + FAWE 2.15.1 | no light (0/900) | vanilla-correct light (899/900*) |
\* the remaining cell is a light-source block itself. A ~960-chunk map relights in 2–4 s.
### ⚙️ New config
Written into existing `config.yml` files on startup:
```yaml
lighting:
relightAfterPaste: true # relight pasted chunks; round provisioning waits for it
maxWaitSeconds: 60 # longest provisioning waits before handing the world over anyway
chunksPerTick: 32 # chunk loads per tick for the relight (main-thread budget)
```
> Update if you provision round maps. Without it they can come out dark.

# 🌊 SchemFlow v0.5.14
**Critical fix:** per-round world provisioning no longer freezes the server. Also adds headless map capture.
### 🛠️ Fixed — round provisioning froze the main thread
The on-demand `provisionRoundWorld` from v0.5.13 had two main-thread stalls (normal `/schemflow paste` was not affected):
- the schematic was pasted **synchronously on the main thread** (`ignoreAir=false`), defeating FastAsyncWorldEdit's async edits;
- the void world was created with a generator that triggered a **blocking spawn-point search** plus a multi-second **"Preparing spawn area"** pass.
On a large map this dropped TPS and could trip Paper's watchdog ("server stopped responding").
**Now:**
- the paste runs **off the main thread under FastAsyncWorldEdit** (plain WorldEdit falls back to the main thread). The returned future still completes on the main thread, so callers can safely teleport players in `whenComplete`. Round pastes use `ignoreAir=true`, since a fresh world is all void;
- the void world generator has a **fixed spawn location** and skips all vanilla generation phases, so world creation no longer blocks.
### ✅ Verified
Paper 1.21.11 + FastAsyncWorldEdit 2.15.2 + MinIO, 95k-block map, real S3 round-trip:
| | v0.5.13 | v0.5.14 |
|---|---|---|
| Max main-thread stall | ~2906 ms | **~109 ms** |
| "Preparing spawn area" | 2845 ms | **1 ms** |
| Watchdog thread dump | yes | **none** |
| Paste-at-origin correctness | n/a | **8/8 checks pass** |
### ✨ Added — headless map capture
- `/schemflow savemap <world> <x1 y1 z1> <x2 y2 z2> <group> <name>` and `WorldProvisioner.saveRegionAsMap(pos1, pos2, group, name)` → `CompletableFuture<Void>`: save a region of any world to S3 with the absolute origin preserved. The world folder is loaded for the capture and unloaded afterwards. Built for batch-converting pre-built map worlds without an in-game selection.
> ⚠️ Anyone on **v0.5.13** should update: that release contains the provisioning freeze fixed here.

# 🌊 SchemFlow v0.5.13
**On-demand world provisioning API** — load and tear down worlds from your own plugin, async, with a completion signal. Built for per-round minigame maps and any automated world workflow.
### ✨ Added — Developer API (`WorldProvisioner`, called by reflection — no compile-time dependency)
- **`provisionRoundWorld(world, group, schematic, pasteAtOrigin, gamerules)` → `CompletableFuture<World>`** — creates a fresh void world, async-fetches the schematic from S3, pastes it (paste-at-origin = original **absolute** coordinates), applies gamerules, and completes **only once the map is fully pasted**. Thread-safe and idempotent per world name.
- **`disposeWorld(world)` → `CompletableFuture<Void>`** — unload (no save) and delete the world folder.
- **`inspect(group, schematic)` → `SchematicInfo`** — dimensions + authored min corner, for callers that paste at a fixed point.
- **`saveSelectionAsMap(player, group, name)` → `CompletableFuture<Void>`** — save a `pos1`/`pos2` selection to S3 **preserving the absolute world origin** (map builder).
### 🔧 Internal
- New `SchematicInfo` value type; `WorldEditUtils.readClipboard` / `pasteClipboard` (paste-at-origin or min-at-0,0,0) / `exportCuboidPreserveOrigin`; `SafeIO.deleteRecursively`.
### ⚠️ Notes
- Absolute placement requires maps saved via `saveSelectionAsMap`. Existing schematics from `/schemflow upload` paste relatively and must be re-exported if you need them at their original coordinates.
- Existing commands, Skript hooks, and config-driven provisioning are **unchanged** — this release is purely additive.

## 0.5.11 (and hotfixes 0.5.11-1 / 0.5.11-2)
### Added
- Group lifecycle commands:
- `group delete <name> [--confirm]` (preview schematic count before destructive action)
- `group rename <old> <new>`
- Safer create with duplicate name detection
- Trash & restore workflow:
- `delete [group:]name` now soft-deletes to S3 `.trash`
- `restore <name> [-group <dest>]` to bring items back (optionally to a different group)
- `trash` lists trashed schematics
- `trash clear --confirm` permanently purges (guarded by confirmation)
- Undo / Redo support for SchemFlow delete operations (`/SchemFlow undo` / `redo`) with fallback to WorldEdit history for pastes
- Group-prefixed tab completion (`group:name`) and inclusion of group-prefixed names in cache
- Confirmation previews for destructive operations (group delete, trash clear) showing item counts
- Ephemeral paste cache directory (`plugins/SchemFlow/work/cache/`) auto-purged on enable/reload/disable
### Improved
- Listing (`/SchemFlow list`) now groups schematics by group with total counts
- Clearer feedback & error messages across command suite
- Consistent MiniMessage styling for all command outputs
- Cache refresh logic aggregates both plain and group-prefixed forms for faster tab completion
### Fixed
- Duplicate group creation now returns a friendly warning instead of silently reusing
- Ensured biomes flag handling defaults to included unless disabled
- Hotfix 0.5.11-2: removed dependency on a missing method for ephemeral cache path in some environments (build compatibility)
### Internal
- Safer async wrapping for storage operations
- Reduced transient file retention (auto-clean ephemeral paste artifacts)
- Updated documentation (README + wiki) to match new command set & workflows
### Notes
- Only `/SchemFlow fetch` writes persistent schematic files; `paste` uses ephemeral cache
- Use `--confirm` for irreversible operations (`group delete`, `trash clear`)
- WorldEdit OR FAWE required (not both)
**Upgrade Guidance**
No config changes required. Existing schematics remain valid. You may safely update the jar and use new group management + trash features immediately.

- Upload now checks for per-group name collisions and fails fast
- Help/usage improved and `plugin.yml` updated
### Skript
- `paste schemflow schematic "group:name" at <location>`
- `fetch schemflow schematic "group:name" [to "<dir>"]`
- `schemflow schematics` includes default names and `group:name` for other groups
### Compatibility
- No config changes required; existing setups continue to work
- Storage layout remains `<rootDir>/SF_<group>/<name>.schm`
- Older files with name prefixes remain readable
### Upgrade Notes
- You can now use `group:name` everywhere for clarity and faster tab-complete
- If you relied on the old `-group` syntax for paste/delete/fetch, it’s now optional:
- Paste/Delete/Fetch prefer `group:name`
- Upload continues to use `-group <name>`

- `SchemFlowCommand`, `WorldProvisioner`, `SkriptHook`, `SchemFlowPlugin`
- Documentation refreshed:
- README, wiki (Skript examples), and Modrinth description aligned with new paths
### Compatibility
- Existing servers with an existing `config.yml` are unaffected unless you relied on code fallbacks.
- No storage layout changes if you already set a custom `storage.rootDir`.
- Group storage structure remains the same: `<rootDir>/SF_<group>/SF_<name>.schm`.
### Upgrade Notes
- If you want to adopt the new defaults, update `plugins/SchemFlow/config.yml`:
- `storage.rootDir: "FlowStack/SchemFlow"`
- `downloadDir: "plugins/FlowStack/schematics"`
- Otherwise, you can keep your current settings as-is.

# SchemFlow v0.5.5 — Granular Permissions & QoL
- Added: Per-command permission nodes for fine-grained control; `schemflow.admin` still grants full access.
- Improved: Tab completion now hides subcommands the sender can’t use and shows clearer “No permission” feedback.
- Changed: Primary command alias added `/schem`; removed global command permission in `plugin.yml` in favor of per-subcommand checks.
- Docs: README, Wiki (Commands), and CHANGELOG updated with a full permissions table.
- Notes: No config changes required; safe upgrade. Build/tag aligned to v0.5.5.
## Permissions
- `schemflow.admin` — full access (default: op)
- `schemflow.help` — view help (default: true)
- `schemflow.list` — list schematics (default: true)
- `schemflow.fetch` — download schematic (default: true)
- `schemflow.pos1` — set first selection corner (default: true)
- `schemflow.pos2` — set second selection corner (default: true)
- `schemflow.upload` — export and upload schematic (default: op)
- `schemflow.paste` — paste schematic at location (default: op)
- `schemflow.delete` — delete schematic from storage (default: op)
- `schemflow.cache` — refresh schematic cache (default: op)
- `schemflow.reload` — reload configuration and services (default: op)
- `schemflow.provision` — provision world base (default: op)
## Upgrading
- If using a permissions plugin (e.g., LuckPerms), grant nodes to non-op roles as needed (e.g., builders: `schemflow.list`, `schemflow.fetch`, `schemflow.pos1`, `schemflow.pos2`, optionally `schemflow.paste`).
- Ops and `schemflow.admin` remain unaffected and retain full access.
## Compatibility
- Minecraft: 1.21+
- Java: 21+
- Platforms: Paper / Purpur (official)
- Dependency: WorldEdit 7.2.18+ or FAWE (either one)
- Optional: Skript 2.7+
