Warning: Digital Corruption Detected.
You are not playing a game. You are viewing a corrupted broadcast, an intercepted signal from a reality that has begun to decay. S.A.N.I.T.A.T.I.O.N. PROTOCOL is a curated analog horror modpack designed to dismantle your sense of security with low-fidelity terror and a pervasive atmosphere of dread.
The world you enter has been compromised by a rogue process, a digital plague that warps the very fabric of your reality, manifesting as a "virus that haunts the world of all players playing this game". This corruption is the source of all the unsettling phenomena that will stalk you.
Every moment is filtered through the lens of a damaged VHS tape. The visuals are deliberately corrupted, complete with compression artifacts and subtle noise. This distortion is accompanied by a chilling soundscape where every footstep echoes realistically in the silent depths of caves, and the void is filled with unsettling ambient cues.
The "Anomalies" and "Stalkers" that populate the world, are not just enemies; they are the observational, ever-present manifestations of this corruption, a constant reminder that you are being watched.
The goal of this modpack is not to be a game of simple survival, but an immersive and psychological descent into a fragmented reality. You are tasked with navigating a world where the very code has become a living, malevolent entity. Your journey is a testament to the found footage you've stumbled upon, and your survival is not guaranteed.
This is not a game. This is a broadcast, and it's looking for a signal.
