## v2.0.0 - The Centrifuge Update ### ⚠️ Important Gameplay Change * **Resource Extraction Overhaul:** Sheep no longer drop resources directly. They now drop resource-specific Wool. * You must now process this Wool in the brand new **Centrifuge** to extract your resources ! ### ✨ New Features * **Added the Centrifuge Multiblock:** Available in 4 tiers (Basic, Advanced, Elite, Ultimate) with custom 3D models and textures. * **New Config Options:** Added options to hide spawn eggs and to require DNA sequencing before scanning a sheep. * **Full JEI Integration:** Added a new Centrifuge category with catalysts, and you can now click on rendered entities in any JEI category. ### 🔄 Changes & Improvements * **Machine Data:** Machines now retain their internal data when picked up in creative gamemode. * **Sheep Scanner Buff:** Increased default energy capacity from 20k to 50k FE. * **JEI Navigation:** Renamed "Sheep Dropping" to "Sheep Shearing" with a larger, cleaner UI to improve navigation. * **Lasso Tooltip:** Cleaned up the Lasso tooltip to show less cluttered info about the captured sheep. * **Optimizations:** Improved dynamic texture generation (now supports external libraries) and added strict config validation for probabilities and min/max values. * **Advanced GUI Tooltips:** Holding `Shift` in machine GUIs now shows the exact amount of stored energy (FE). ### 🐛 Bug Fixes * Fixed a bug where Sheep would not display their custom Name Tag name. * Fixed energy transfer issues in the DNA Sequencer and Splicer. * Fixed the DNA Splicer screen not displaying the child when no mutation occurs.

### 🐑 Resourceful Sheep - Version 1.5.0 **✨ New Features & Additions** * **Brand New Sheep Scanner GUI:** The Sheep Scanner now features a beautiful custom interface! Scanning results are no longer sent in the chat. * **Custom Wools:** Added specific wool blocks and items for every sheep type, available in all 16 colors! These will have a special use in a future update. * **Machine Timers:** You can now see the exact remaining time by hovering your mouse over the progress arrow inside the machine GUIs. * **Splicer Trash Can:** Added a handy trash can button in the DNA Splicer interface to easily delete a parent. * **Sheep Tags:** Added a specific item tag for each type of sheep. **⚙️ Gameplay Changes & Tweaks** * **DNA Discovery Mechanic:** You must now discover and sequence a sheep's DNA in the DNA Sequencer at least once before you can use the Sheep Scanner on it. * **Energy Configuration:** Machines and items can now be configured to run without energy. The energy bar will automatically hide from the interfaces if energy consumption is set to 0. * **Blast Resistance:** All machines are now completely immune to explosions. **🛠️ Technical & Config Changes** * The `DroppedItems` setting in the configuration no longer supports item tags. You must now use specific item IDs.

# 🐑 Resourceful Sheep - Update v1.4 This update introduces genetics, new machines, sheep crossbreeding, and greatly improves the mod's configuration! ## 🧬 DNA & Genetics * **New Syringes:** Added syringes to extract DNA from mobs. * **Upgrade Template:** Added a new Smithing Template to upgrade your iron syringes to Diamond and Netherite. * **DNA Sequencer:** A new machine that allows you to analyze and store the DNA collected in your syringes. * **DNA Splicer:** A new machine used to combine different DNA sequences to create brand new mutations. * **Suspicious Spawn Egg:** Crafted by the Splicer, this mysterious egg spawns your new genetic creations. * **New Mutations:** Added several new default sheep types, crossbreeding recipes, and mutations. ## ⚙️ Configuration Changes * **Tag Support:** The "Dropped Items" and "Biome" fields in your configs now fully support Minecraft Tags. * **Smarter Textures:** Dynamic texture generation is now much more accurate and only uses the exact blocks and items specific to that sheep variant. * **Validation & Logs:** The mod now checks your configuration files on startup. It will warn you in the logs if you have invalid IDs (biomes, items, effects, blocks) or duplicate fields. * **JSON Updates:** The `Resource` field in the sheep configs has been officially renamed to `SheepName`. ## 📚 JEI, UI & Tools * **Crossbreeding Category:** Added a brand new JEI category to show players exactly how to get specific sheep through DNA crossbreeding. * **Sheep Scanner Updates:** The scanner now consumes FE to work and displays the exact name of the scanned sheep.
