(More) Realistic Fishing
Instead of items, reel in live fish from the water!
Small datapack changing the fishing mechanic. When a fish is caught, you reel in a live fish instead of a dead one in item form.
Demonstration video:
Features:
- Fish items are replaced with living entities when fished
- Configurable velocity of the spawned living fish entities
- Stored in
/data get storage real_fishing:config motion_scale - The velocity of the spawned fish entity is multiplied by these values, with the velocity of the original item entity as the base value
- Tweak this if you feel like the fish you reel in are either
- Absolutely flying out of the water
- Barely making it above the water surface
- See
