# Project Dawn V2.0 Project Dawn V2.0 is the largest overhaul of the mod so far, rebuilding its progression and turning it into a more complete standalone survival experience. ## New Research System - Added a full research system with **4 categories and 20 research nodes** - Research now uses prerequisites, material costs and research time - Advanced equipment and recipes are tied into progression instead of being immediately available ## New Workstations & Processing - Added dedicated **Field, Electronics and Advanced Workbenches** - Added a **Repair Bench** and **Research Table** - Expanded processing with the **Field Furnace, Industrial Furnace and Oil Refinery** - Processing stations now use proper fuel, processing times and experience - Selected stations can also process normal Minecraft recipes where appropriate ## Exploration & Salvage - Important Project Dawn materials now have proper acquisition sources - Added more meaningful structure-based salvage - Signal Shards, Obelisk Fragments and other specialized components are now tied into exploration and dangerous encounters - Progression no longer relies on inaccessible crafting materials ## Medical Overhaul - Rebalanced the medical system - Treatments now have more distinct roles instead of only providing different amounts of healing - Added shared medical cooldowns where appropriate - Adrenaline now acts as a combat stimulant with its own cooldown and delayed crash - AI-2, Blood Bags, Medpacks and other treatments received balance changes ## Visual & Atmospheric Improvements - Improved the **AI-2 Medkit** - Improved the **Eclipse Star** - Improved the **Obelisk Fragment** - Added animated furnace fire - Added smoke, lighting and furnace audio - Updated workstation visuals - Reworked and cleaned up the Research interface ## Crafting & Progression - Rebuilt large parts of Project Dawn's crafting progression - Recipes are now better integrated with workstations and research - Improved compatibility with normal Minecraft and modded recipe systems - Progression is now structured around **salvaging, researching, processing and rebuilding** ## Content Cleanup - Removed outdated MRE variants - Removed the Secured Lootbox - Removed Coin of Choke - Removed unused legacy recipes and assets - Cleaned up outdated content from earlier versions Project Dawn V2.0 transforms the mod from a collection of individual survival items into a more complete progression system built around exploration, research, specialized crafting and survival.
