# Pillager Assault Brigade - Priestess's Revenge ## English ### Overview This mod adds a challenging adventure centered around the Pillager Priestess. Face three powerful bosses, survive relentless hunts, and break the curse by exploring, trading, and using unique enchantments. ### Core Mechanics #### Pillage Doom Effect - **How to get**: Killing a Priestess (without the Banishment enchantment) applies the effect to all players within a 30‑block radius. Lasts 2 hours (real‑time). - **Effects**: - Constant heartbeat sound (every 7 seconds). - Threatening messages broadcast to all players every 4 minutes. - Sky turns dark red. - Every 5 minutes, an Avenger spawns behind you. - At fixed times (30, 50, 70, 90, 110 minutes), a Valkyrie spawns behind you. - At fixed times (45, 80, 110 minutes), an Assault Brigade spawns around you. - **Removal**: Cannot be removed by milk or `/effect clear`. It only ends after 2 hours or upon death (death does not grant the “One‑Man Army” advancement). ### Bosses #### Avenger (“Avenger”) - **Spawns**: Every 5 minutes behind a player with Pillage Doom (distance: 1 block). - **Attributes**: 120 HP, 0.37 speed, breaks doors, immune to potions, fire, and fall damage. - **Attack**: True damage (10 HP) ignoring armor; high knockback (10 blocks horizontal, 5 blocks vertical). - **Drops**: Big Show potion. - **Sound**: Uses Vindicator sounds. #### Priestess (“Priestess”) - **Spawns**: When a player with Bad Omen has had the effect for 5, 15, 25, or 38 minutes, she spawns 50 blocks behind them. - **Attributes**: 30 HP, 0.25 speed. - **Abilities**: - Applies Darkness, Nausea, and Hunger to players within 100 blocks. - On hit, teleports to a random position 15 blocks behind the attacker and plays an Enderman teleport sound. - **Drops**: Priestess Heart. - **On death**: - **Without Banishment**: Applies Pillage Doom to all players within 30 blocks; plays “priestess_die” sound (8s). - **With Banishment**: No Pillage Doom is applied; plays “priestess_begone” sound (16s). #### Valkyrie (“Valkyrie”) - **Spawns**: At 30, 50, 70, 90, and 110 minutes after a player gains Pillage Doom; spawns 15 blocks behind the player. - **Attributes**: 50 HP, 0.35 base speed, flies, immune to fire and explosions. - **Behavior**: - Prioritizes players with Pillage Doom, then nearest survival player, then villagers/iron golems. - Flies to stay at least 7 blocks above the target. - Attacks from up to 50 blocks away without line of sight; fires a fireball every second. - **Fireballs**: Do not break blocks but turn solid blocks into magma blocks and ignite air blocks; 2.5‑block explosion radius, 10 true damage, knockback 2 blocks horizontally and 0.3 blocks vertically. - **Drops**: - Steel Wings enchanted book. - Valkyrie Weave (1–2). - **Sound**: Custom attack sound heard within 50 blocks. ### Special Items & How to Obtain | Item | How to Obtain | |------|---------------| | **Big Show** | Dropped by Avengers; also available in the creative tab. | | **Priestess Heart** | Dropped by Priestesses. | | **Valkyrie Weave** | Dropped by Valkyries. | | **Legend of Calamity** (edible paper) | Given to every player upon joining a world. | | **Priestess Temple Locator & Anti‑Calamity Supply Station** | Rewarded when obtaining the “One‑Man Army” advancement; also obtainable from the Village Security Minister (Expert trade). | | **Enchanted Book (Steel Wings)** | Dropped by Valkyries; also in creative tab. | | **Enchanted Book (Banishment)** | Found in chests inside the Pillager Temple; also in creative tab. | ### Enchantments - **Steel Wings**: Can only be applied to Elytra. Prevents durability loss and adds 4 armor points. Obtain via Valkyrie drop. - **Banishment**: Can be applied to any weapon. Killing a Priestess with this enchantment prevents Pillage Doom from being applied to surrounding players and triggers the “priestess_begone” sound. Found in Pillager Temple chests. ### Structures - **Pillager Temple**: Naturally generates in badlands biomes. Contains a chest with a Banishment enchanted book.
