Photon is a lightweight FullBright resource pack that makes caves, interiors, and dark areas fully visible in Minecraft while preserving the vanilla visual style.

Installation

  1. Download the .zip file
  2. Open Minecraft → Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder
  3. Paste the .zip file into the folder
  4. Close and re-open the Resource Packs menu
  5. Enable Photon from the list

Compatibility

  • Works with vanilla Minecraft gameplay
  • For Vanilla, Sodium, and Optifine compatibility, refer to the Requirements section above
  • May conflict with packs that modify lightmaps or shader behavior
  • Turns itself off when using shaders
