# 🦖 PaleoGonkz 5.2.1 > **A quick stability hotfix for Distant Horizons.** 5.2.1 rolls back **Distant Horizons** to an earlier version after issues were encountered with the newer release. --- ## 🔄 Changed - Rolled back **Distant Horizons** - From the newer 3.3.0 release, Back to **3.2.0-b for Minecraft 1.20.1** The rollback was necessary due to issues with the newer version affecting the pack. --- ## 🛠️ Notes No major content changes were made in this update. This release is mainly focused on restoring a more stable Distant Horizons setup for PaleoGonkz.

# 🦖 PaleoGonkz 5.2.0 > **A cleaner worldgen stack with a little more spice.** 5.2.0 continues refining PaleoGonkz's world generation by removing overlapping biome content, tweaking terrain generation, and updating a few major exploration mods. --- ## 🌎 Worldgen Refresh The configurations for **Tectonic** and **TerraBlender** have been modified to spice up world generation and give the Overworld a more interesting terrain mix. This update continues the worldgen cleanup started in 5.1 with the removal of **Streams Reflowing** and **Terralith**. --- ## ➖ Removed - **Biomes O' Plenty** - **Farmer's Cutting: Biomes O' Plenty** - **Macaw's Biomes O' Plenty** Biomes O' Plenty and its related compatibility mods have been removed to reduce overlap within PaleoGonkz's biome stack. # 🦖 PaleoGonkz 5.1.1 A small worldgen cleanup update. ## ➖ Removed * Terralith Terralith has been removed to simplify the Overworld generation stack and reduce overlap with the other biome and terrain mods in PaleoGonkz. ## 🛠️ World Notes Existing worlds should still load normally, but newly generated chunks may look different after updating. If you update an existing world, you may notice terrain transitions where older Terralith-generated chunks meet newly generated terrain.
