Nova 2.0 — Your AI Best Friend in Minecraft

Ever wish you had a friend to play Minecraft with? Nova is an AI companion who follows you, talks to you, fights alongside you, and actually remembers your adventures together.

What Can Nova Do?

Talk to her — Press V to speak. Nova understands natural voice commands and responds with text-to-speech. Ask her questions, give orders, or just chat.

Fight together — Nova detects threats, equips weapons, and fights 20+ mob types with unique strategies. She'll warn you about creepers, shield against skeletons, and kite when surrounded.

Mine and gather — "Mine me some diamonds" and she's on it. Strip mining, branch mining, tree chopping — she handles it and brings you the loot.

Build structures — Nova can build houses, watchtowers, farms, and more from blueprints. She gathers materials, flattens terrain, and places every block.

Craft anything — 270+ recipes built in. "Craft me a diamond sword" — done. She can chain-craft too (logs to planks to sticks to tools, all in one command).

Explore the world — Say "find a village" and Nova will guide you there. She knows 95+ structure types and provides lore commentary along the way.

Survive together — She eats when hungry, warns you at night, retreats when hurt, and shares food when you're low. She's got your back.

How to Use

  1. Install Fabric Loader + Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.11
  2. Drop the Nova JAR into your mods folder
  3. Launch Minecraft — press Y to summon Nova
  4. Press V to talk, G to open menu
  5. Say "follow me" and start your adventure!

  • Minecraft 1.21.11 (Java Edition)
  • Fabric Loader 0.18+
  • Fabric API 0.139+

Multiplayer

Nova works in singleplayer and on servers. For other players to see Nova, server admins need the NovaSyncPlugin (available separately).

Privacy

Nova can optionally send anonymous gameplay telemetry (off by default) to help improve the AI. No personal information is ever collected. You can toggle this in the config at any time.

Hey players! 👋 Another round of updates just landed for Nova — here's what's new and what it feels like in-game: ⛏️ Real-player mining Nova now mines like an actual player. Blocks break with real animations, drops go straight into her inventory, and she handles tough terrain (water pockets, stuck spots, weird angles) without freezing up. She's also a lot better about not clipping through walls or skipping torches on her way back out of a shaft. 💪 Beefier companion Nova's max HP is now configurable from the in-game menu (press G). Bump her up to tank harder, or keep her squishy if you like the challenge. Her damage and range are tunable too, so you can balance her to match your playstyle. 🎨 Cleaner inventory UI The HP and hunger bars now scale properly with her configured max health, so a buffed Nova actually shows as a buffed Nova. Color thresholds update based on percentage, not raw numbers. Stats tab shows everything at a glance. 🧠 Smarter behavior Better stuck-detection and escape logic Steadier body yaw (no more weird 180° flips when she turns) Cleaner idle wandering (she doesn't pick absurd angles anymore) More natural pathing around obstacles 🐛 Fixes Inventory items no longer duplicate or vanish Nova no longer crashes when mining certain blocks Mob targeting is more consistent Voice recognition is snappier Grab the update and let me know how she feels for you. Nova AI 1.1.174 — What's New ⚔️ Nova feels like a real player — mobs now target and attack her just like a human. Zombies chase, skeletons shoot, creepers hiss. Proper combat, no more "invisible to monsters" cheese. ⛏️ Smarter mining — auto water-seal at Y<12 to block drownings, torch placement in long shafts to prevent spawns, shelf-stocking of food/picks mid-run, and a "mine back to me" command if you want her to retrace her path out. If she gets stuck she asks before bailing. 🎛️ Nova stats panel — press G and hit the new Nova tab to adjust her max HP, attack damage, and follow range without editing config files.
