### End of Life:
This is the last update for New Sword Blocking, adding support for Minecraft Java 1.21.6.
Maintaining multiple data packs takes more time that I would rather focus elsewhere, and there are better alternatives to New Sword Blocking that I’d personally use instead:
- [Old Combat Datapack](https://modrinth.com/datapack/oldcombat) – Fully customizable classic combat.
- [Sword Blocking](https://modrinth.com/datapack/sword_blocking) – Just sword blocking, nothing extra.
- [Vanilla Sword Blocking](https://modrinth.com/datapack/vanilla-sword-blocking) – Blocks damage and works with all swords.
Apologies for any inconvenience!
