Motion Sickness

The shader nobody asked for. Motion Sickness turns Minecraft into a boat ride in a storm: the ground rolls in waves, the horizon bends into a bowl and then a planet, distant terrain slowly spins around you, and your camera sways, breathes and sees double. Perfect for pranking a friend's PC, or for challenge videos ("Can I beat Minecraft with the Motion Sickness shader?").

World Warping

Effect	Default	What it does
Ground Waves	On	Terrain heaves up and down like an ocean swell (even a bit under your feet)
World Spin	On	Far-away terrain slowly twists around you
Bendy Horizon	On	The world curves up into a bowl, then down into a tiny planet, over and over

Screen Effects

Effect	Default	What it does
Camera Roll	On	The screen tilts and rolls side to side
Breathing FOV	On	The view zooms in and out like it's breathing
Jelly Screen	On	Wobbly, wavy distortion
Double Vision	On	A ghost copy of the world slides around
RGB Split	Off	Red, green and blue drift apart
Color Drift	Off	Colors slowly shift hue
Drunk Stumble	Off	Every few seconds the camera lurches in a random direction

Settings

Options > Video Settings > Shader Packs > Motion Sickness > Shader Options

• Nausea Level: 0.25 (mild prank) up to 3.0 (unplayable)
• Every effect above has its own on/off toggle under World Warping and Screen Effects

Performance

Very cheap: no shadow map and a single final pass. Runs on basically anything.

⚠️ Warning

This shader is designed to cause motion sickness and dizziness. Stop if you feel unwell. Colors shift slowly and nothing strobes, but if you are sensitive to motion or flashing visuals, use a low Nausea Level or skip it.

Compatibility

Minecraft Java Edition with Iris (Fabric / Quilt / NeoForge) or OptiFine.

Install

1. Put MotionSickness.zip (don't unzip it) into .minecraft/shaderpacks
2. In game: Options > Video Settings > Shader Packs and select Motion Sickness
3. Watch your friend's face

MIT. Use it, edit it, include it in modpacks, just keep the license file.
