## What's New in v2.0 ### 🛡️ Launcher/Client Detection & Enforcement The biggest addition in v2.0. ModSeeker can now detect which launcher a player is using through native OS-level inspection — not guesswork, not self-reported. Supports **15 launchers** including Prism, MultiMC, CurseForge, Modrinth App, Lunar Client, Badlion, and more. Each launcher can be individually allowed or blocked via `client-list.yml`. Players on unapproved or unknown launchers are kicked automatically. ### 3-Layer Security Architecture All verification is now split into three independent layers: - **Layer 1** — Cryptographic challenge-response handshake (RSA-2048) - **Layer 2** — Launcher detection & enforcement (new) - **Layer 3** — Encrypted mod verification (RSA/AES-256 + HMAC integrity) Each layer works independently — disable one without weakening the others. ### 🔔 Discord Webhooks Real-time Discord notifications for player joins, mod lists, blacklist violations, and verification failures. Just paste your webhook URL into `config.yml`. ### Other Additions - Player freeze during verification - Admin dashboard (`/modseeker status`) - Hot reload (`/modseeker reload`) - Improved security ### Requires - [Hidder](https://modrinth.com/mod/hidder) v2.0 on all clients - PaperMC 1.21.4+ (including 26.1)
