## [2.1.2] - 2026-09-18 ### Added - Builds for 1.20, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4 and 1.20.6 on Forge, and for 1.21, 1.21.3 through 1.21.10, and 1.21.11 through 26.3 on NeoForge. Six files now cover every Minecraft release from 1.20 on. ### Fixed - Crash on startup under NeoForge 1.20.1: mod loading failed in `common_setup` with `NoSuchMethodError: ResourceLocation.fromNamespaceAndPath`. Forge was not affected. ### Notes - Each file's version list is what that build was actually started on, one dedicated server per version. Outside its range the loader refuses the mod instead of crashing. - Same gameplay, config and world data as 2.1.1. The 1.21.3 and 1.21.11 files replace the old 1.21.8 and 26.2 downloads; their code differs only in renamed Minecraft methods, and the network protocol is unchanged. - On 1.20.6 the totem death-save animation shows a plain totem. 1.20.5 moved items to data components, so the item's custom name and enchantments no longer travel with the packet. - No build for 1.20.5, which never got Forge, or for 1.21.2.

# Changelog ## [1.3.0-beta] - 2026-07-06 ### Changed - Level labels are now rendered client-side from synced data; mob names (CustomName) are no longer modified. - Type names in labels resolve in each client's own language. - Network protocol bumped to 2 — servers on 1.3.0 require clients on 1.3.0+. ### Added - Update notice in chat: once per session, players are notified when a newer version is on Modrinth, with a clickable download link. ### Fixed - Mobs now follow vanilla despawn rules exactly (the old name-based persistence workaround is gone). - No more "Named entity died" log spam. - Name tags, WTHIT/Jade and other mods now see clean mob names. - Legacy `[LvN]` names from older versions are stripped automatically as chunks load. ### Notes - Players without the mod no longer see level labels (labels require the mod client-side).
