mech v0.3.2 NEW BLOCK: THROTTLE LEVER - A hand-set analog redstone source. Right-click to step the output up by 1, sneak-right-click to step it down (0-15); it powers adjacent redstone directly at that level (weighted-plate rules -- run dust or lamps against it). - Not a pressure plate: stepping on it never changes the signal, and the vanilla step and click are suppressed. Floor placement only. - The spruce-fence handle tilts to show the current strength; the setting survives breaks, reloads, and restarts. - Craft: a stick over a row of redstone dust, iron ingot, and cobblestone, over three smooth stone slabs. NEW MACHINE: MECHANICAL DISPENSER - A vanilla dispenser that becomes a launcher (higher speed, increased accuracy/consistency) when fed rotation power; unpowered it stays an ordinary dispenser (vanilla GUI, hoppers, and item pipes all keep working). Glows with red eyes while active. - Craft: a slime block above a piston flanked by two bearings, above a dispenser flanked by redstone. RECIPES - Burner recipe reworked -- now shapeless: a blast furnace, a dropper, and any copper grate. The old copper/blast-furnace/iron recipe is retired. - Drill recipe no longer needs netherite -- now a diamond over an iron-flanked piston over a full row of iron. RENAMED - The "Mechanism" family is now "Mechanical": the Mechanism Minecart becomes the Mechanical Minecart (now a lodestone-headed item); advancement text renames the Extendable Piston to Mechanical Piston. ADVANCEMENTS - New nodes: craft/use milestones for the throttle lever and mechanical dispenser; craft milestones for the Copper Water Pump and the burner -> boiler -> steam piston stack; and a steam-power network milestone. - Tree tidy-up: the chain pulley now hangs under the gear, and the chain hoist has its own icon.

mech v0.3.1 FLUID MACHINES (NEW) - Copper Water Pump: floor-mounted machine that moves one bucket per cycle from below to a tank, cauldron, or pipe chain above. Wrench to reverse. A blocked route stalls the pump; fluid is never destroyed. Water only -- lava pumping is reserved for a future iron-tier pump. - Steam stack: burner -> boiler -> steam piston, a new fuel-driven power source supplying 20 power. An empty-hand click reads out the stack status and names whatever is missing (fuel, water, boiler). - Sieve now requires water: fill its tank by pipe or bucket; each batch of pans drinks one unit. A dry sieve idles with a dust cue. NEW MACHINE: SIEVE - Powered panning machine, wall-mounted on a container like the millstone and press. Washes gravel, sand, red sand, dirt, and soul sand into flint, nuggets, and rare finds (gems included, at low odds). MACHINE POWER TIERS AND BALANCE - Machines now draw power by work value (fan/placer 2, suction hopper 3, press/pump 4, drill/millstone 5, sieve 10) instead of a flat 1, so a starter windmill no longer runs everything. The engine supplies 10. - Piston cores and chain hoists still draw 1 but move at half speed. - Sieve loot chances reduced across the board; sand's rare drop is now quartz instead of raw gold (red sand still pans raw gold). - Fixed: chance-based recipes (sieve, millstone glass->sand) no longer consume input while the output container below is full -- the machine stalls like the mill and press do. RECIPES - New craft recipes for the sieve, Copper Water Pump, burner, boiler, and steam piston. - mech now soft-depends on Pipes: with Pipes installed the pump recipe uses a copper pipe as the valve body; without it the pump recipe is simply not registered. ADVANCEMENTS - 16 new advancement nodes: "use" milestones for the drill, fan, placer, suction hopper, chain hoist, dynamo, clutch, and reverser, plus an operator capstone required by Grand Engineer; ore branches to precious/netherite for the millstone; panning treasure for the sieve; and a Pan Handler craft advancement for the new sieve. - Fixed: machine products delivered straight into a container below now count toward product advancements, and items merely passing through a suction hopper no longer grant them. - "Bound Together" now fires when you brush glue on, instead of on the first assembly. OTHER - Water wheel and boiler now sit on sealed copper-chest tile entities; adjacent custom chest blocks no longer render merged/offset. Water wheels placed before v0.3.1 keep working unchanged. - The pump and boiler now face the player who places them, and the pump body stretches up to meet a horizontal corner pipe above. - Visual polish: pump intake and valve art, boiler flame placement, larger steam piston head, unified machine smoke particles.
