🏔️ Starlight Calls

Before the Darkness began, there were six heroes: the Hero of the Overworld, the Hero of the Underworld, the Hero of the Forest, the Hero of Justice, the Hero of the Wind, and the Hero of Darkness and Magic.

Together they united the entire land through their battles. With mighty bans they banished monsters, and with sealing rituals they locked away the curses and evils that had once haunted the world. Because of them, no one had to fight for their life anymore. The six were known and revered everywhere.

But one of the six gathered too much power. With a great sacrifice, he removed himself from the world, and so gained the power to travel. Yet the sacrifice was worth far too much. The world itself was destroyed, and the Darkness began.

After his sacrifice, the land grew unsafe. Monsters returned, and the rituals of the six held but were not strong enough to withstand the sacrifice. Five of the six died trying to save the world.

It was a time when everything blurred together, until there were no living people left. In the final hour, the people searched for a way out of the doom. Together they tried to build a portal to the Land of the Wind, but they could not gather enough resources, and so everyone perished.

Then you awaken in a world that is almost empty.

The few villagers who remain have armed themselves and try to fight the monsters on their own. They stand guard at the gates and patrol the roads, but none of them is strong enough to face the truly terrible monsters and curses that now roam the land.

The world needs someone who can. It is time for you to set out and make this world safe again, hero.

Features

This modpack adds a lot to vanilla Minecraft without changing the core of the game. You still play survival, but there’s much more to explore and fight along the way.

The world is bigger and has more in it. There are new biomes, deeper caves and plenty of new structures and dungeons to find. Besides the Overworld you can visit other dimensions like the Twilight Forest and the Aether, and if you want to leave the planet, you can build a rocket and travel to other worlds. The Deep Dark has been expanded as well. Mine Cells, which is based on Dead Cells, adds its own areas with new enemies, weapons and bosses. There are bosses spread across the whole world, so you’ll always have something to work towards.

Combat has been extended with many new weapons, tougher enemies and gear that gets stronger as you find better items. You can roll, use soulslike weapons and take on harder dungeons. There are two kinds of magic: Hex Casting, where you program your own spells, and Malum, which is built around spirits, souls and witchcraft.

To make traveling easier there are waystones, a backpack for more storage and maps that show where you’ve been. You can build and decorate your base with a lot of new furniture and blocks, and a few extra food items keep survival interesting. The pack also comes with shaders and a texture pack, and it runs in multiplayer, with proximity voice chat for playing with friends.

Each update adds new mods but also removes some, which may cause you to lose items depending on your location.

🔹 How to create a proper backup:

Go to the Overworld and store all your items in a chest. Save and exit the game. Copy your world folder as a backup. Update the modpack and start the copied world. If anything is missing, revert to the previous modpack version and play on your backup. Stay safe and happy adventuring! 🚀
