KibbleCommands

KibbleCommands lets you create custom command aliases on your Minecraft server or proxy. You can map simple shortcuts to long or complex commands, chain multiple commands together, set up command cooldowns, and run actions as console or player.

Works natively across single servers (Paper/Spigot/Folia/Sponge) and proxy networks (Velocity/BungeeCord).

Features

  • Custom Aliases: Turn long commands into short, easy-to-remember shortcuts.
  • Command Chaining: Run multiple commands sequentially from a single alias trigger.
  • Random Execution Mode: Pick a random command from a list (great for random rewards, teleports, or broadcasts).
  • Console Execution: Force aliases to execute from console even if run by a player.
  • Proxy Server Transfers: Connect players between servers on Velocity or BungeeCord using server:servername targets.
  • Cooldown Support: Set per-alias cooldowns with database persistence (SQLite & MySQL).
  • Permission Locks: Require specific permissions per alias or toggle global permission checks.
  • Dynamic Tab Completion: Automatically syncs new or updated commands to player client suggestions without restarting.

# 🚀 KibbleCommands v2.0.0 — Major Architecture & Features Release **KibbleCommands v2.0.0** is a major milestone release packed with dynamic client command synchronization, full PlaceholderAPI integration, automated event triggers, in-game alias editing, random execution modes, SQLite/MySQL database persistence, and execution auditing! --- ## ✨ Key Features & Enhancements ### ⚡ Client & Network Synchronizations - **Instant Client Autocomplete Sync**: Autocomplete choices (`player.updateCommands()`) push dynamically to player clients when aliases are created, deleted, or reloaded without requiring a relog or server restart. - **SQLite & MySQL Cooldown Persistence**: Saves player cooldowns across server reboots or multi-server proxy networks (BungeeCord/Velocity). All database queries run asynchronously to keep server TPS solid (Folia thread scheduler compatible). ### 🛠️ In-Game Administration Commands - **`/kc edit <alias> <new_command...>`**: Update an existing alias's target command instantly in-game without deleting and re-adding it. - **`/kc history <player>`**: Inspect recent alias executions for a player from the audit log (`/logs/use.log`) directly inside chat. ### 🧩 Integrations & Dynamic Placeholders - **PlaceholderAPI (PAPI) Soft Dependency**: Resolves any `%papi_placeholder%` (e.g. `%vault_eco_balance%`, `%luckperms_primary_group_name%`) in command targets, action messages, and permission messages. - **Remaining Time Placeholders**: `{cooldown_remaining}` and `{warmup_remaining}` tokens formatted automatically in warnings and messages. ### 🎲 Advanced Alias Mechanics - **Random Execution Selection (`mode: "random"`)**: Pick one target command at random from a list of options (perfect for random rewards or loot commands). - **Automated Event Triggers**: Trigger console commands automatically on player lifecycle events: - `events.on-join` - `events.on-first-join` - `events.on-death` - **Vault Economy Costs**: Charge players in-game currency (`cost: 50.0`) to execute an alias. - **Warmup Delays**: Enforce countdown timers before execution (`warmup: 5`). Automatically cancels if the player moves or takes damage. - **Cooldown Bypass Nodes**: `kibblecommands.cooldown.bypass.<alias>` permission node to skip limits. --- ## 📖 Copy & Paste Example Presets (`config.yml`) ```yaml # Automated Lifecycle Event Triggers events: on-join: commands: - "effect give {player} speed 10 1" on-first-join: commands: - "give {player} bread 10" aliases: # Teleport with 5s delay (cancels on move/damage) spawn: command: "teleport {player} 0 64 0" player-only: true warmup: 5 tab-complete: - "now" # Paid healing command ($50 Vault cost + 30s cooldown) healme: command: "essentials:heal {player}" cooldown: 30 cost: 50.0 execute-as: "console" # Random reward picker roll: description: "Pick a random reward" commands: - "give {player} diamond 1" - "give {player} iron_ingot 5" mode: "random" # Custom info message without running server commands rules: description: "Display server rules" send-message: "&e1. Be respectful.\n&e2. No griefing.\n&e3. Have fun!"
