Summary
A small metallic canine from Doctor Who for your 1.20.1–1.20.2 Fabric Minecraft world inspired by the 4th Doctor's robotic sidekick, K9! This mod is for people who want a useful robot companion, whether that be for mining or to have a little bit of Doctor Who.
What does this mod add?
- K9 Mob
- K9 Crate
- K9 Wristband
- Metal Bone
- Lithium Cells
- Wrench
K9's Features:
- All the features of a regular dog, except for the incessant begging.
- K9 goes to items and picks them up.
- K9 can be sat on hoppers and get items extracted from it's inventory.
- K9 has an inventory, like a shulker box on wheels!
- K9 has a dyeable collar, and an easter egg if you decide to fool around a little bit!
Playable on Fabric 1.20.1 and 1.20.2 (or Forge 1.20.1, 1.19.4, 1.19.2 and 1.16.5)
Recommended to play with 8GB of RAM minimum singleplayer.
Recommended to have 8GB of RAM allocated to the multiplayer servers.
How do I tame and power my K9?
- K9 can spawn by right clicking the K9 Crate
- K9 can be tamed with a metal bone.
- K9 is powered by 8 lithium cells that are drawn from to keep it's battery up; shift+right click with the wrench to open the battery menu.
- K9 is fed and can be healed with redstone, or right clicked with a wrench to get to full health.
- K9's health and battery are separate.

# Big changes since the last release! We've updated to 1.20.2, and we've shifted over to Fabric! We also plan to add support for mods like TARDIS: Refined and others!
## Additions:
### + Lithium Cell Batteries.
### + Battery System.
### + New assets for inventory interface (GUI).
### + New assets for items.
## Subtractions:
### - Bugs :) (fingers crossed).
### - Anyone who doesn't like K9.
## Changes:
### ~ Battery actually shows up in the GUI/Inventory for once.
### ~ Uses OwOLib (you don't have to install it manually, it will prompt you the first time you run the game with this mod).
### ~ K9 can now die (it has health and battery now so yes, you can kill it now).
### ~ Tame with the metal bone (ironically still called "bone"), not iron ingots.
### ~ Name K9 "bugger" and see what it's collar changes to!
### ~ Feed it redstone or right-click with the wrench to heal it's health, but you will need to use lithium cells to keep it's battery up!
### ~ Right click a redstone block with an empty cell to recharge it, it's 1 click per level (so 10 clicks for a completely empty cell).
