**The Magical Year: The 7th major update for BTE is here, and it's my mod's first anniversary!** One year of development has turned it from a rough survival overhaul to a much bigger, more fun and challenging version of Minecraft. **Additions** - **Magic System:** Introducing the Arcane Table, 15 new spells and 6 new effects! - **New Mobs:** Quietling, Cyclops, and Plank Golem! - **Scrolls:** Discover Scroll Ruins, Unlit Scrolls, and Lumen Scrolls with the help of the Sniffer - **New Blocks:** Rope Hook, Warped Bar Block, Spiritum Block, Soulstone Tile Blockset, Mycelium Slabs, and Podzol Slabs. - **New Items:** Cyclops Eye, Crude Eye, Lensed Eye, Aluminum Knife, Bat Wing, and Toast. - **New Clothing:** Wizard Hat, Wizard Robe, and Musketeer Hat. - **Blood Particles:** Mobs (and you!) can now bleed when attacked! - **New Advancements:** 13 new advancements have been added. - **Cursed Pumpkin:** Used to summon golems.  **Changes** - Cats can now spawn at Pillager Outposts. - Zombified Piglins no longer attack players without provocation. - Redstone and Cobalt Martial Scrolls have been replaced into the Uplifting Scroll and Pushing Scroll, replacing the old meter mechanic with effects. - Blocks like machines and tables now display their name on the GUI - Players can wear banners in their head - Wardens spawn Quietlings instead of Wraiths - Changed cloud texture - The rope item is now a placeable block - Changed textures for raw iron, gold, copper and inferrite - The Wither must now be summoned using Spiritum Blocks instead of Soul Sand or Soul Soil. - Pelts can now be processed into leather using campfires. - Breaking wool with bare hands no longer drops string. -  Saddles and horse armor can now be crafted. - The Diamond Musket can now fire without being loaded in creative - Tiling Fertile Dirt and pathing Dirt slabs now produce sounds. - Placing ingredients into forging anvils now produces sounds. - Forging anvils have been tweaked. - The right amount of ingredients will render in the forging anvils - Tool textures have been changed. - The textures and recipes for Brushes, Shears, Spyglasses, and Bells have been changed. - Trial Chamber loot has been revamped. - Trial Chamber generation has been fixed. - Tamed and ridden mobs will no longer flee. - Fixed an issue where killing goats would grant the Skull Crusher advancement. The WORST update ever! Addition: - Block of Rose Quartz Changes: - Modified tons of recipes - Fixed bug where sharp sticks could mine coal and ground ore - Fixed thirts again - If the player doesn't have a bed, they'll respawn somewhere random within 5000 blocks, have their achievements taken, and the world time will be set to 0 (if they are the only players online) - Mobs can only breed at night and under a roof - Buffed mob stats - Mobs won't spawn with custom armor, only shields and weapons - Bowls, Wineskin and Thermal Bottles can't gather water in Swamps, Oceans, Lush & Dripstone Caves, or Frozen Rivers.  - Set durability of the Sharp stick to 2, and the durability of the fire starter to 4 - Players will have less block reach and mining speed when not holding a block or a tool - Changed the main menu panorama and title (that explains the extra 4 Mbs) - Changed textures and AI for Wraiths, Minions and Werewolves - Werewolves will show red eyes when aggressive - Block coordinates will be hidden if the player doesn't have a Compass in their inventory - Chunk coordinates will be hidden if the player doesn't have a non-empty map in their inventory - Nerfed maggot saturation and loot rate - Maggots will grant small hydration and water when eaten

**Stagnant Cubes**: The 3rd major update for BTE! **Additions:** - Knock Dust - Knocker Ball - Philosopher's Stone - Storage Blocks for: Ash, Wood Junk, Creeper Scales, Cobalt, Fabric, Industrial Iron, Silver, Brass, Cast Iron, Zinc, Aluminum. - "Bales" for the other crops: Tuber Slop for potatoes, Carrot Sheaf for carrots, Beef Bundle for Beetroots. - New mob: the Watchling! - Chipped Stone - Fertile Dirt - Mountain Poncho - Clad Rotten Robe - Clad Mountain Poncho - Net - Goat Pelt **Changes:** - Pebbles can be chipped - Stone tools require chipped stone - Ore drops are now loot-table based and not hardcoded - Animals can only be breed with storage blocks of their favourite foods! - Firestarter is slower than before - Mobs can only block or scream for backup if they're targeting the attacker  - Some recipes were tweaked, some now require block versions of a few of their ingredients - Changed witch loot-table - Only Fertile Dirt can be tiled - Igloos no longer spawn Have fun and leave suggestions!
