Soul Bind items to a single player or to a permission for a group of players
- Prevents others from picking the item up or removing from a container.
- Items can be kept in inventory on death (permission)
Soul Bind enchantment book:
- Vanilla-like enchantment behaviour
- Unbind via grindstone can be configured on/off
Custom binds allow different triggers

Flexible support for kits and itegration with your mechanics
- Lore-based registration string (default
%soulbind%) triggers a bind when a player first interacts with the item./bindinvitemsto manually trigger an inventory scan and bind. - Direct NBT setting (/give etc) for instantly bound items:
{PublicBukkitValues:{"itemsoulbind:soulbinduuid":"player-uuid-here"}} - Remote item binding with console execution supported (
/remotebinditem) - UUID-based: keeps working across player name changes
Controls to restrict how soul bind items can be used
- Prevent soul bound blocks being placed.
- Prevent modification through crafting, enchanting, anvil, and other workstations.
- Block configured commands when holding the item (e.g. sell)

**New: Soul bind books**
- A real Soulbound enchantment. Combine a book onto any item in an anvil to bind it to the player using the anvil
- `/soulbindbook [player]` gives a book (`itemsoulbind.book.give`). Using one needs `itemsoulbind.book.use` (default: everyone)
- New option grindstoneUnbinds (default false): a grindstone removes a book bind
**New: Bind to offline players**
- `/binditem <player>` now takes a name or UUID. The owner doesn't need to be online or to have ever joined
**New: Confiscated items are saved across restarts**
**New options**
- preventSmithing (default false), bypass: `itemsoulbind.bypass.smithing`
- showContainerDeny (default true): toggles the message when denied taking a bound item out of a container
**Improvements**
- Bind on use now works with any weapon (axe, mace, spear, trident, custom weapons), not just swords
- Mobs can no longer pick up bound items
- A bound trident stuck in the world can no longer be taken while its owner is offline
- preventAnvil now only checks the anvil inputs
**Fixes**
- Custom fonts in lore are no longer broken by binding (#47)
- /unbinditem now reliably removes the bind lore line
**Breaking changes**
- Config must be regenerated: messages now use MiniMessage, legacy & color codes are no longer translated
- bindOnUse / bindOnEquip / bindOnPickup config toggles removed. These are now controlled by the permissions
`itemsoulbind.bindonuse`, `itemsoulbind.bindonequip` and `itemsoulbind.bindonpickup`
- Commands are lowercase only: `/binditem`, not `/bindItem`
- `/binditem <player>` no longer accepts selectors (`@p`, `@s`)
