Central to this update is the global phenomenon known as the "Darkness Plague," alongside the concept of the Shadow Self, which serves as a psychological reflection of one’s darkest attributes. Notable features include the introduction of the Darkness Plague, which manifests when the global frequency diminishes (`/darkness true`). During this event, players who are unprotected face potential harm from a toxic atmosphere that affects normal entities. However, players will find refuge within their Co-Created Kingdoms, indicated by the B-Key for Crafting Tables, where they are shielded from the Plague and experience an active purification from its effects. Additionally, when players rest safely in their Kingdom, their energy has the potential to manifest as a formidable Shadow Self, requiring players to confront this entity in order to preserve their Brightness. The update also addresses various technical aspects, including enhanced multiplayer synchronization through improved internal packet architecture. Key functions such as the "Body of Brightness" (H-Key) and Rift Flight (L-Key) are now fully integrated within multiplayer servers. Furthermore, the H-Key now effectively removes the Darkness Plague from players, while some visual elements remain in development for future patches.
