Imposter (horror)

Attack logic reworked. Instead of standard melee hits, the Imposter now grabs the player and triggers a cinematic sequence in which it delivers multiple knife strikes, dealing serious damage. This cutscene is visible both to the victim and to all other players. After the attack, the Imposter disappears. Mimicry has been carried over from version 2.0.0, with certain aspects refined and improved. Two new attack events have been added: in the first, the Imposter digs its way toward the player and triggers a cutscene; in the second, it springs out from around a corner and catches the player. Swimming animation added — the Imposter now moves through water just like the player. Fixed crashes / incompatibility with modded armor. New sound effects added for chase sequences, detection, and cutscenes. CARDBOARD CUTOUT A new entity, which is a flat, 2D copy of the player, placed by the Imposter near the player. It has 3 spawn variations: Spawns around a corner and stares at the player from a distance. When the player approaches, it rolls back out of sight. Spawns from around a corner as soon as the player gets close to it, triggering a jumpscare. Spawns behind the player, and as soon as they turn around, it emits a terrifying sound. Occasionally, the Cutout may play a recorded voice line from the player with a radio filter applied. It also has a small chance to move around. It poses no threat.

From now on simple voice chat mod required. v2.5.20 VOICE CHAT - Added voice recording function. Mimic now can record players voice and play it sometimes. - Added commands for managing recordings and exporting to WAV format. - Mimic will only play records of player which is he mimicing. AI and behavior - Added stealth meter. He will initiate attack faster if you don't look at him. - Changed mimicing phase and mechanics. - Mimic will attack you if his hp are lower than 50%. RENDER - Added armor render. Mimic will copy armor of player he is mimicing. - Mimic will copy inventory of player he is mimicing and will hold items from that pool.
