Hameln - The Minecraft Trident Innovation Plugin
Hameln is a plugin compatible with Minecraft 1.20 versions, designed to make trident usage more intuitive and convenient. It works seamlessly with Paper and Purpur server implementations.
Key Features
- Hand Adaptability: When a trident is thrown with the non-dominant hand (typically the left hand), it returns to that same hand. Similarly, tridents thrown with the dominant hand (typically the right hand) will return to it.
- Automatic Slot Return: If you throw a trident with your dominant hand and then switch slots, the trident will return to the new selected slot, provided it is empty.
- Standard Behavior Retention: If the trident’s designated slot is not empty upon its return, it will follow Minecraft’s default behavior.
Installation Guide
- This plugin is compatible with Paper and Purpur servers. Install one of these server types first.
- Copy the jar file into the 'plugins' folder of your server.
- Restart the server.

**Hameln** comes with a detailed configuration file that allows for fine-tuning of trident handling for ease of use. For more information, please refer to the `config.yml` file that is automatically generated after the first run.
**Hameln** *1.0.0* includes the following features:
- Option to decide whether a trident thrown from the dominant hand returns to the active slot or not
- Option to decide whether a trident thrown from the non-dominant hand returns to the non-dominant hand slot or not
- Option to decide whether a trident flying towards a portal will initiate dimensional travel or not
- Option to decide whether a trident flying towards an End Gateway will perform spatial teleportation or not
