GravesSystem
GravesSystem replaces item drops on death with an immersive grave system that spawns the player’s head, preserves their exact inventory layout, displays a live hologram, and restores items instantly — all while remaining lightweight and highly performant.
Описание
🪦 GravesSystem
Your death. Your grave. Your items.
GravesSystem is a lightweight, immersive, and highly optimized grave plugin for Paper, Purpur, and Folia 1.21+.
Forget messy item drops and outdated death chest systems. When a player dies, GravesSystem safely stores their inventory and experience, then creates a grave at the death location using the player's own Minecraft head and skin.
A live hologram displays the player's name, cause of death, and a countdown until the grave expires.
No commands. No complicated menus. No unnecessary hassle.
Simply return to your grave, right-click it, and recover your items exactly as they were before you died.

✨ Features
🪦 Immersive Player Graves
Every grave uses the deceased player's own head with their real Minecraft skin, creating a more immersive alternative to ordinary death chests.
🎒 Exact Inventory Preservation
Your inventory is preserved slot-for-slot, including:
- Main inventory
- Armor
- Offhand
- Experience points
Everything is restored to its original position whenever possible.
⚡ Instant Item Restoration
Simply right-click your grave to retrieve your belongings.
- No commands required.
- No menus or unnecessary delays.
- Items return to their original inventory slots.
- If your inventory is full, remaining items are dropped at your feet.
🛡️ Grief-Proof Graves
Graves are protected against common forms of destruction, including:
- Explosions
- Fire and burning
- Water and lava
- Pistons
- Withers
- End Crystals
Protection also covers buckets, dispensers, and waterlogged blocks where applicable.
Every protection feature can be configured individually.
🔄 Self-Healing Graves
If a grave block disappears because of another plugin, WorldEdit, or another external change, GravesSystem automatically attempts to restore it.
Your items won't remain trapped in an invisible grave simply because its block disappeared.
🔒 No Item Loss. No Duplication.
GravesSystem is designed to handle death and item recovery safely.
- Atomic grave looting prevents the same grave from being emptied multiple times.
keepInventoryis handled safely.- Void deaths are handled appropriately.
- Multiple deaths at the same location are supported.
- Cancelled death events are handled safely.
📍 Smart & Safe Placement
Graves are placed on suitable, solid ground near the player's death location.
The placement system avoids:
- Lava
- The void
- Locations occupied by other graves
- The Nether roof
A configurable search radius allows you to control how far the plugin searches for a suitable location.
👑 Secure Grave Ownership
By default, only the grave's owner can retrieve its contents.
Server administrators can optionally allow graves to become accessible to other players after a configurable amount of time.
💬 Modern Holograms
GravesSystem uses lightweight Minecraft TextDisplay entities instead of traditional armor-stand holograms.
Customize the hologram's height and text, including:
- Player name:
{player} - Cause of death:
{reason} - Time remaining:
{time}
Holograms update only when their displayed text changes, reducing unnecessary processing.
💾 Persistent Storage
Graves are stored in an SQLite database and persist across server restarts and crashes.
Your players' graves remain available without relying on temporary in-memory storage.
🌍 Full Folia Support
GravesSystem is designed with region-aware execution for Folia.
One JAR supports Paper, Purpur, and Folia.
🔔 Update Notifications
Administrators can receive clickable chat notifications when a newer version is available on Modrinth.
