## 2.3.0: gift controls and a stay-still fix **New** - **Gift controls.** Turn gifts off per girlfriend with the new **Gifts: on/off** button in her menu or `/girlfriend gifts <true|false>`. Server owners can also edit `config/girlfriend-mod.json` (then run `/girlfriend reload`): turn gifts off entirely, change how often she gives them, switch flower-picking off, add extra gift items from other mods (`extraGiftItems`) and block items she should never give (`blockedGiftItems`, e.g. the totem of undying). - **Minecraft 1.21.11 support** (separate file). **Fixes** - **"Wait here" and sitting now mean it.** She no longer goes hunting for mobs while waiting or sitting, and only deals with something that comes right up to her. - Her wave and dance no longer clip through her head and hair (also in 2.2.1 and 2.2.2).

## 2.2.0: the big companion update 💕 **Fixes** - She will **never attack you** again. Your hits do nothing by default; with friendly fire on she sulks instead (#11, #14) - Player skins via `/girlfriend skin <name>` now actually load (#12) - Girlfriend Summoner crafting recipe works again (#9) - Chat replies only trigger on whole words and are no longer spammy; "stay" / "follow me" in chat actually work - "Wait here" means she stays put **New** - Sneak + right-click **menu**: hug, headpat, kiss, dance, follow/sit, rename, 20 looks or any player's skin (#8) - **Relationship tiers** (Just Met → Crush → Dating → Partner → Soulmate → Forever Yours) with perks: better gifts, stronger bodyguard, heals you, and once a day **saves you from death** - Picks flowers for you, says goodnight when you sleep, weather/time-aware chatter - Sit pose, hug/kiss/wave/dance/pout animations, cute styled chat, bond card when you look at her - Updated for Minecraft 26.3
