We spent 1.2.7 sweating over version numbers so you didn't have to; 1.2.8 is us actually touching gameplay for once. ## Versions: * Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 * Minecraft Forge 1.21.1 * **Minecraft NeoForge ~~1.22.2~~ 26.2** ## Updates: * The furnace finally tells you which slot eats fuel. Yes, there's a tooltip now. No, you didn't need the wiki, there was never a wiki. * Shift-clicking coal (or anything else flammable) from your inventory no longer plays slot roulette — it goes straight into the fuel slot like it should've from day one. * Stuffing Absolute Energy into the fuel slot used to just... trap it there forever, silently, judging you. The game now just says no. * Fuel actually matters: Coal gives 16 Absolute Energy instead of a sad little 1, scaled to match its real burn power.
