Firmament
Soft sunlight, clear water and warm nights. An Iris shader pack for the worlds you already love.
Описание

Your world, in a different light.
Sun on the coast. Clear water below your feet. A village worth coming home to after dark. Firmament gives familiar Minecraft places a warmer atmosphere, using the textures you already have.

Colours stay rich without turning neon, and daylight keeps its contrast. The sky is a deep blue with warm twilight bands, sunlit clouds have white tops, and the water is clear enough to see the sand below.

On calm mornings, a low mist settles in the valleys and over the water, then clears as the sun climbs.

Nights stay dark and calm. Torches and lanterns glow from gold to amber, moonlight follows the moon's phases, and stars twinkle overhead. On clear nights, the Milky Way crosses the sky.

Every Nether biome has its own air: red smoke over the wastes, deep crimson in crimson forests, violet around warped forests, a cold blue-green haze in soul sand valleys and grey ash in basalt deltas.

Smoke drifts and rises, glowing orange over the lava sea. Lava runs from a dark red crust to yellow-white veins under a heat shimmer.

Overhangs glow warm from below. Glowstone, shroomlights, portals and crying obsidian shine in their own colours, and torches glow only in the flame.

The End island has shape under a violet sky. Each dimension keeps its own character.

Start with High. Balanced lowers the cost; Ultra raises the quality. The Color screen tunes contrast, saturation, vibrance and white balance. Eye adaptation, vignette, sharpening, morning mist and the Milky Way can each be adjusted or switched off, and The Nether screen turns its drifting smoke and heat shimmer on or off. The settings are available in English and Russian.

- Install Iris and Sodium builds matching your Minecraft version.
- Drop the Firmament ZIP into
shaderpacks. Keep it zipped. - Open Video Settings → Shader Packs, select Firmament, and choose High.
This is a client shader; your server doesn't need it. For Minecraft 26.2 and 26.3, use the OpenGL renderer.

Gameplay-tested on Java 1.21.1 / NeoForge 21.1.228 / Iris 1.8.12 / Sodium 0.6.13. The extra Minecraft targets in the download files have automated checks; their game tests, and Fabric game tests, are still pending.
Reflections only see what the camera sees. Waterlogged blocks and overlapping transparent surfaces can show artifacts; underwater reflections are disabled to keep the view clear. After reloading chunks with F3+A, shadows of blocks outside your view appear once you look at them. OptiFine, ray tracing, PBR, Distant Horizons and Voxy integration are not included.
Screenshots: real Minecraft 1.21.1 frames of Firmament on the High preset (the Nether with 0.4.0, the rest with 0.3.0), saved by the game itself. No generated images or colour grading.
