## The Biggest Update Yet **This pack has been rebranded to "Enhanced Equipment" from previously "Keaton’s Enhanced Tools" as it's continued to work its way past just tools and weapons into more generalized gear all around. With this new branding, I can and have safely leaned into adding a wider range of additions.** For a general overview, here's what it adds in less detail: - Armor item textures - Much more handheld gear - Support for a handful of mods - Many, many tweaks and fixes - Reached 360 total textures This rebranding has the goal of leaning into objective texture enhancement rather than subjective enhancement, which would typically introduce personal interpretation and stylistic variation. My username is Keaton42. *** **Professionalism aside, here's everything that it adds:** ### Major Additions - **Armor Item Textures:** Added all 29 new textures for every armor item! Does not change the model textures. Every tier has their own palette to match their respective material with adjusted shading, the helmets get small nasal guards to match their model textures, and the netherite leggings get a unique texture, as they don't have one in vanilla. This includes the empty armor slots in the player inventory. That's not all! All horse armor textures are included as well! - **Shield:** What's tools and armor without a shield to go with it? It uses the stick colors from the low-tier tools as its wood and gets a clean new iron polish. - **Clock:** This one as I've always feared, took FOREVER! As I've said, there are 64 textures for this one. I adjusted the shading, filled in an incorrect gold color, used less harsh colors for the night and day… and it only took 4 hours. Enjoy! - **Recovery Compass:** A complete overhaul of the extra thick compass you may have loved. It now uses 100% echo shard colors, got the sides shaved off to match the compass, and uses the compass textures from this pack with some reshading. - **Spyglass:** The vanilla texture was kind of a miss. Who thought to have an awesome zoom feature but have the whole scope look like it hadn't been cleaned for a century? So the new spyglass texture adds proper copper and leather handle colors that were almost there to begin with, its scope is much more transparent and less blurry, and the item itself is now gripped in your hand like a stick instead of held like a feather. - **Brush:** I'm gonna brush past this one. It gets a properly colored handle and a cleaner brush. - **Bottles:** Their center is shifted to the left to be consistent with other off-centered items and they get a slightly reshaded cork. I already had support for [Axolotl Bucket Fix]https://modrinth.com/mod/axolotl-bucket-fix), so here is this one too! - [Copper Tools](https://modrinth.com/mod/copper_tools) **If you're playing a version before the Copper Age drop, (like me) then this one is for you**. - [Simple Netherite Horse Armor](https://modrinth.com/mod/simple-netherite-horse-armor/gallery) **Now if you're playing before the Mounts of Mayhem drop, you'd appreciate this one**! - [Shyvv's Trickier Trials](https://modrinth.com/mod/shyvvs-trickier-trials) What a fabulous mod! **Just like the mace, I added a breeze rod handle texture for the lance**. ### Tweaks - We'd be here all day, seriously. There are 36 documented changes with most of them being very minor. The biggest changes though are thickening every tool head's bottom and changing inner-shading pattern of every stick. If requested, I can make note of more changes, but for now, I don't see a reason to. I hope you have a great time, and enjoy 2.0.0! - Fixed the shading orientation on the spear models to match Vanilla. Curiously, the Copper Spear had already been correct.

- Added the Spears! These include diamond, netherite, iron, golden, copper, stone, and wooden spears! This includes both the inventory textures and extended handheld textures. These took a long time to make and were planned for the 2.0 update, but decided to release them early as that update is taking very long, but coming soon!

- Textured the crafting table: this texture includes updated shading on its tools and new handle colors to closely match similar tools - Removed the nugget textures as they weren't related to the pack - Extended the blades of the shears a bit to make the handle wrap around better, and slightly modified the handle colors for better shading

- Changed the colors of the handles in the netherite axe, pickaxe, shovel, and hoe to be darker on the edges and alternating in color in the middle to match all other handles Spears will be coming to this pack soon after they're released

- Added an updated mace handle texture. More is planned.

- Textured the trident! It uses accurate prismarine colors, has copper for the handle, and kelp wraps around it. This includes both the inventory sprite and the entity. _I'm not the happiest about the kelp texture on the entity, so I'll likely revisit later._ - Updated [Chai's Build Tools](https://modrinth.com/mod/chais-build-tools) wrench to reflect its ingredients. _I had accidentally used the texture I made for my datapack with updated ingredients… again._ - Remove the dummy white fishing line entry since it hasn't ever worked

Rahhh I forgot something - Added one pixel to the bottom of the axe head for the [NewWorld](https://modrinth.com/mod/new_world) Ancient Mattock to match the Netherite Axe This doesn't matter much but I'm looking for perfection

Niche update again? - Replaced the diamond ornaments on the [NewWorld](https://modrinth.com/mod/new_world) Ancient Mattock to emerald - Greatly improved "items broken" and "blocks mined" statistic icons - Fully updated the gallery again, fixing scaling issues from resizing the images multiple times Trident texture will be coming soon

- Added back the trowel for [Chai's Build Tools](https://modrinth.com/mod/chais-build-tools), correcting it for copper - Slightly edited the lighting on the trowel for both [Chai's Build Tools](https://modrinth.com/mod/chais-build-tools) and [Trowel](https://modrinth.com/mod/trowel) and updated the gallery for it

- Fixed strength effect icon to remove an accidental addition of a damage heart from v1.1.0 - Removed the trowel texture for [Chai's Build Tools](https://modrinth.com/mod/chais-build-tools) for it being iron on accident when it's made of copper. - Changed 1 pixel on the ancient mattock from [NewWorld](https://modrinth.com/mod/new_world) - Updated pack icon - Completely updated the gallery to match the new updates, which include several more entries

- Updated the shears texture to make it closer match real life shears. They come with a darker right blade for more durability to withstand more cutting on the dominant blade.

- Added the haste effect icon to be shiny and consistent. It's a realistic golden pickaxe, as seen in vanilla

### Greatly updated the compass textures: - The area is wider, allowing more space to see the needle - Darkened the area by 1 color for increased contrast - The needle's positioning is completely redone, and is thinner but more precise This may be a work in progress. I've already spent hours on it, and it's very difficult doing so. If you have any feedback, please let me know!

- Added the middle pixels along the blade of the sword to the empty sword slot, meaning its texture will match better instead of being hollow Tiny update, yippee! If you follow this pack and are updating every version, I appreciate you, and sorry for the inconvenience!

- Fixed the color accuracy of the spectral arrow from [Real Arrow Tip](https://modrinth.com/mod/real-arrow-tip), even though I think it looks mildly worse ~~Hey look, the version number says 123!~~

- Added 2 darker pixels to the middle of the guard on the stone sword to blend with the others

- Fixed the empty slot for the sword and pickaxe being darker gray than supposed to

### The Copper Age update! - Updated main pack version to 1.21.9. It still supports every version listed. - Added the 5 copper tools, which use the basic stick texture with shiny copper, similar to the iron tools. My reasoning for this is copper tools are on the same tier as stone tools, but are metal, leading to this contrast.

- Very minor update lengthening the netherite sword's guard Thanks TheRuler4340! v1.1.1 and v1.1.2 worked in tandem as a better polish on the netherite sword's golden guard trims to look more clean and consistent!

## Added lots of new content! ### New Textures - **Totem of Undying with real gold and emerald colors**. This makes it pretty saturated but in a good way. - **Lead with extra length, softer colors, and no iron clip**. Cuz Steve ties a knot instead, and the lead is longer in game. - **Compass with real iron colors!** Don't ask me how long this took… it's frightening how many textures it has. And the clock has DOUBLE, but is planned. - **Bucket adjusted fluid colors**. The water is a softer blue, lava uses correct textures, making it less tinted green, milk is much more white than blue and fills the rest of the bucket, fish buckets are no longer a pixel lower, and pufferfish buckets have the fish face forward. - **Statistic textures to match the tools**, for the 3 people who look at these anyway. ### Mod Support - [Real Arrow Tip](https://modrinth.com/mod/real-arrow-tip) **made the bows and arrow tips work correctly**! - **If you want the tipped arrows to work,** go into this pack, and into assets\minecraft\textures\entity\projectiles, and remove the arrow head from the tipped arrow texture. This is because those who use this pack without the mod would have their tipped arrow entities without any tips, but the mod needs it gone to replace it on its own. - [Chai's Build Tools](https://modrinth.com/mod/chais-build-tools) **updated wrench, trowel, and cloud bucket textures**- hey look, it's the developer for Particular! - [Axolotl Bucket Fix](https://modrinth.com/mod/axolotl-bucket-fix) **to match the buckets**. ### Tweaks - **Fixed the attack indicator texture so it works**. The texture had been in the wrong resource location. - **Removed arrow head bulge** (bottom pixel) on the bow. - **Made arrow entities use the correct stick and arrow colors**. I had planned to do this for the snow golem as well, but it's such a small change and has a risk of overwriting any other snow golem textures. - Updated the pack.mcmeta to format it better and make the supported versions work to the cap of 88 instead of 9999. - **Praying for the day [custom fishing lines](https://modrinth.com/mod/custom-fishing-lines) gets updated** so I can make it white to match the texture. For now, it's hidden in "optifine" but doesn't do anything. *** The gallery images haven't been updated, so use your imagination. Anyways, that's all*. Thank you for checking out these update notes! :D ***From the future: A change has slipped in!** I accidentally edited the **strength effect's icon to include a heart alongside the blade and shifted the blade glint 1 pixel to the left**. This was meant for my personal pack, and I've removed it in v1.4.2.

- Removed a pixel from the stone hoe and stone axe to make them more chipped and less similar to their iron counterpart - Tweaked the wooden shovel to make it straighter and less bulged
