We are officially entering the Second Industrial Revolution! With the addition of Create: Power Grid, you can now wire up your factories and evolve your mechanical empires with electricity. Alongside this massive technological leap, I've integrated Vanilla Backport, bringing the newest vanilla features straight into our world without sacrificing our perfectly tuned 1.20.1 foundation. Welcome to the new era of engineering.

This update is a ruthless cleanup. I stripped out redundant bloat and conflicting optimization mods, resulting in a significantly lighter, faster core that aggressively outperforms competing packs in raw framerate and stability. **And Finally update Create to 6.0!** On the content side, I wrote a custom datapack for crafting Gliders, backported Bundles from newer versions, and added marshmallows for your campfires. I also implemented a custom-built mod that lets you open worlds flawlessly when online-mode is set to false, alongside fresh Discord integration. Cleaner, faster, further - greater

Lighting up your journey just got easier—I've replaced the old belt system with the [Equipable Lantern (Trinket)](https://modrinth.com/mod/equipable-lantern-(trinket)). Under the hood, I have pruned redundant optimization mods and patched known bugs to ensure a smoother experience.

Building on the optimizations of 2.6, this major expansion integrates **Botania** and **Iron Chests**, blending natural magic with industrial storage. Combat is overhauled with **Point Blank**: we have removed the default arsenal in favor of a custom Red Dead Redemption-themed weapon set, featuring recipes fully integrated into Create assembly lines. We also enabled arms for armor stands and reduced the generation frequency of **Hephaestus** sky islands for a cleaner skyline.

This update delivers significant performance optimizations, specifically targeting lag reduction for complex Create factories. The resource pack list has been cleaned up and expanded to support additional mod assets. Critical bugs preventing entry to **The End** have been resolved. Gameplay adjustments include Elder Guardians now dropping Elder Spines for the **Mechanical Trident** and new, balanced recipes for **Vanilla Spawners Expanded**.

Create Big Cannons has been added, expanding your engineering capabilities with heavy artillery)) I have implemented a new compatibility datapack to support Create materials, including Tin and Steel, within [Hephaestus](https://modrinth.com/mod/hephaestus). A custom resource pack now provides connected textures for Fabric Seasons: Extras greenhouse glass, alongside general configuration adjustments and fixes.

We are entering the **Beta phase** to engineer a custom datapack that will unify our massive new content injection: **The Twilight Forest** for exploration, **Hephaestus** for advanced smithing, and a fully integrated **Seasonal cycle**. To support your creative journey, we’ve also added extensive decorative options with **Rechiseled**, **Handcrafted**, and **Vinery** so you can build the perfect home while we refine the pack's progression.

**[Vanilla Spawners Expanded](https://modrinth.com/mod/vanilla-spawners-expanded)** headlines this update, allowing you to finally mine, change, and upgrade spawners, while the new **Mechanical Trident** powers up your combat. I swapped the lighting engine to **Sodium Dynamic Lights** and added **Shoulder Surfing** for a superior F5 camera view to make exploration smoother. Gliders and Backpacks remain highly recommended for your travels, now running on a cleaner, optimized core without unnecessary bloat.

This update adds a selection of new mods that improve the atmosphere, seasonality, and decorative possibilities of the world. Players now have more options for base design, cozy items, expanded seasonal effects, and additional decorative blocks. The mods do not change the balance of the gameplay, but they make traveling, farming, and building much more enjoyable and varied.

For the 2.4 I focused on rebuilding the internal structure of the pack for the future: custom datapacks, possibly quests. Today's additions: new custom resource packs, better mod sorting, stricter config tuning, and stability fixes. This version is the first step toward the next phase of Engineer’s Journey — where automation, exploration and creativity blend into one consistent Vanilla+ experience. Removed [Concurrent Chunk Management Engine](https://modrinth.com/mod/c2me-fabric) for better memory & CPU usage, the number of particles has been reduced, and configuration settings have been added.

A refined upgrade of the Create-first Vanilla+ experience: better structure generation and world navigation, smoother harvesting and QoL camera improvements, plus more realistic snow and atmosphere. Engineering builds now look and function more naturally with improved chains, couplings and dynamic lighting support. Config and library updates boost stability and performance — less tweaking, more building. Still lightweight, still focused on gameplay clarity.
