This mod is currently being completely reworked! The newer version will be linked once it releases into alpha.
Ember & Ash
This is Ember & Ash, a small magic mod that i've been working on. It revolves around silver and magical tomes. Every magic item uses mana, which is visible in a bar on the main hud.
How to Play
Crafting
You need the "Inscribing Table" in order to make the scrolls/tomes in survival mode. There is a recipe button when you open its menu that lets you view the various recipes.
Progression
It depends on what class you go with, but this is the mage's progression.
- Get silver
- Make 2 empty spell tomes
- Make Inscriber
- Make water bucket
- Make Tome of Splashing
- Go to the nether
- Get blaze powder
- Make Tome of Flames
- Make lightning rod
- Make Tome of Plasma
- Get TNT
- Make Tome of Explosions
- Go to the end
- Beat Ender Dragon with Tome of Explosions or Regular weapons
- Get Enderite
- Find End Temple
- Fight Ender Cultist
- Farm Ender Cultist until Tome of the Cultists drops
- Find End City
- Farm shulkers to get shulker shells
- Craft shulker powder
- Make ender core
- Make Advanced Empty Spell Book
- Make Wrath of Zeus
- Get Radiant Gems
- Make Tome of Radiance
The progression isn't really finished yet, and I plan to add more bosses and items to get!
Misc
PLAYING WITH MODS LIKE REI, JADE, AND XAERO'S MINIMAP IS RECOMMENDED

- Fixed some bugs present in the 1.21.1 versions, such as the needle not being used when you right click with it.
- Re-ordered the creative tabs to make them look prettier. (The tomes tab is now colour coded!)

# Alpha 2.0 Changelog
- Completely revamped the inscriber, now called the "Inscribing Table", changing it's model and gui.
- Added scrolls, which are limited-use spells that break after 10 uses, but can be infused with spell books to create tomes, which are infinite.
- Fixed some bugs present in the previous version, such as 1.21.4 being mistakenly exported as 1.21.1 in mcreator.
- Made a new logo for the mod, which has slightly higher saturation and brightness than the previous one. It also removes the annoying "Made by Quicksz" text.
- Added cloud island structures which generate rarely from y level 128, to y level 256. These can be harvested for clouds which can be used to create the scroll of cushioning.

# Alpha 1.4 Changelog
Added 4 new small tomes including,
- The Tome of Resistance
- The Tome of Revealing
- The Tome of Cushioning
- And, The Tome of Freezing.
The Tome of Resistance makes the user invulnrable to any damage dealt to them for 15 seconds, but comes at the cost of a high cooldown time and high mana cost.
The Tome of Revealing shows all living entities around the player in a 100 block radius for 10 seconds.
The Tome of Cushioning spawns a cloud underneath the player that prevents any fall damage from being taken, unless the player isn't falling.
The Tome of Freezing freezes the closest living entity to the player, encasing them in an ice block, and prevents them from moving for 5 seconds while slowly damaging them.
Other small bugs have been fixed, but they are insignificant to list here.

# Alpha 1.3 Changelog
- Added the healing tome which heals to full health, and the Tome of the Warden, which shoots a sonic charge.
- Completely revamped the particle system for the tomes, adding more stylistic particles and overall more clean feeling to use.
- Fixed bugs present in previous versions, such as the Tome of Water giving you mana after using both Guide to Magic books.
- The mana bar now hides in Creative and Spectator mode to help with filming videos and aesthetic purposes.
- The mana bar now takes longer to re-gain when doManaTick is on. Used to be 20 ticks (1 second) now 40 ticks (2 seconds)
- doManaTick switched to logic as apposed to numeral which introduced a bug whitch automatically turned it off, so make sure to type /gamerule doManaTick true in your old worlds.

- Replaced Netherite Alloy with Enderite.
All existing Netherite Alloy items that
the player had is now Enderite.
- Changed the mana bar to be more pleasant to look at, and moved it to above the hotbar.
- Added the End Temple and along with it a new tome, armour, and boss, called the "Ender Cultist". The boss has a chance to drop the previously mentioned armour and tome.
- Fixed some bugs present in the previous version.
