Minecraft dyes can sometimes be pretty controversial. While they are definitely challenging items to get your hands on, they are also used purely for decoration. Meanwhile, in real life, you can mix dyes together to get new ones. See, Minecraft already adds plenty of such recipes, but a few are still missing - that's where Dyes comes in handy.

Dyes is a tiny datapack that adds not a lot, yet just the right amount of recipes (and a few tags) that are enough to fix those little gaps Minecraft left behind. You can now dye concrete and concrete powder, mix dyes together, or craft them from other materials.

Hope you all will find it handy and let's move on to the changelog. ## Changelog ⚙️ > 💡As told, the datapack should be useful, and not full of features! ### Recipes ⭐ --- » **Black Dye** can now be crafted from a lump of coal. » **Red Dye** can now be crafted from redstone dust. » **Orange Dye** is crafted from a magma cream. » **Lime Dye** can be crafted from a slime ball. » **Purple Dye** is now craftable from an amethyst shard. » **Brown Dye** can now be mixed from red and orange dyes. » **Green Dye** can now be obtained by mixing yellow and blue dyes. » **Yellow Dye** can now be crafted from glowstone dust. > 💡 You can now also color already crafted concrete and concrete powder by surrounding a dye with any concrete color, just like you do with glass. ### Tags 🚩 --- » **#dyes:concrete** and **#dyes:concrete_powder** are new item tags that can both be used in commands and in creative inventory.
