## Fixed Bugs: -[Issue 45: Getting rid of the frail effect doesnt work ](https://github.com/Calyren/Dominium/issues/45). -[Issue 47: Arsenal weapons do not store in Arsenal Weapon Rack](https://github.com/Calyren/Dominium/issues/47). -Added Ring Trinket Slots to let the Benefactor's Grace item be equipable.

# The Oathbound Update ## New Content - Added Oaths; Oaths are a new type of Contract/"Give Away Your Soul" item that work in a Unique way. Instead of being a wildcard item that's useable on multiple devices, it has one purpose that's set out from the start. It has Two Signers, a Beneficiary and a Swearer. There are multiple Oath Types: - **Tribute**: The Swearer forfeits half of all XP they gain directly to the Beneficiary. - **Loyalty**: The Swearer cannot sign Oaths with anyone else except the Beneficiary. - **Protection**: The Swearer absorbs 20% of all damage dealt to the Beneficiary, as long as they remain within 20 blocks. This cannot kill the Swearer. - **Vengeance**: If the Beneficiary is killed, the Swearer receives a temporary combat buff. - **Hospitality**: The Swearer is granted free passage into any Obelisk claim owned by the Beneficiary or their faction. This can be used by Faction Members to add a New Member to the Obelisk, behind the Obelisk's owner's back. - **Succession**: If the Beneficiary is Perma Killed, the Swearer inherits a Testament of Succession, claiming ownership over their devices and pets. - **Service**: The Beneficiary may summon their Swearers at no XP cost via a Wandering Tablet on any Waystone. - **Fealty**: The Swearer is can no longer damage the Beneficiary. - Added Oathbinders; To activate an Oath, it must be placed on an Oathbinder. They also work as Pedestals for other items. - Added the Benefactor's Grace. It's a Ring that makes you dodge the attacks of players that you hold a Dominic Contract of. (Currently Uncraftable) - Redid some of the Nether Roof Structures. They'll now include some Dominic Bricks, making the blocks be obtainable without the need of a Dominic Orb. - Added Dreadrock; A Cobbled Bedrock kind of block that's found on the Nether Roof. It also has 2 variants, that get progressively more "glitchy". - Added the Dreadrock Citadel. It's a new Big Structure that's found on the Nether Roof. Currently it doesn't have anything that cool to offer except the Dreadrock blocks. But it'll be a point of interest in the Future. ## Fixes - Fixed an Issue related to the Left Arm Rendering. - Fixed some bugs related to the Custom World Border/Barrier. - Added some Command Suggestions - Fixed the Swapper being able to move certain blocks that it shouldn't. - Other Fixes too... ## Misc - The Idol is getting Removed. In Dominium 0.9, the Idol will be fully removed, and until then you have time to claim back the Netherite Ingot it cost you to craft it. You can do that by simply putting the Idol in a crafting slot. - Q: Why is the Idol being removed? - A: It became Outdated with this update. The Fealty Oath and the Benefactor's Grace now do what the Idol did, and it'd be pretty awkward to have 3 things do the same thing. ## Where I've been: - So... # Dominium 0.7 - THE REVAMP UPDATE PART 1.5 - Added The `/dominium:dominiumborder` command. It allows you to create a custom border. - Added The **Horn of Terminus** (dominium:world_border_horn), a Test Dominic Item that creates a 170x170x170 Dominium Border. It also sounds really cool. - Added The **Convenant of the Auctor**. It’s a signable item that let’s a player pass through a Dominium Border created by the Signer. - Added a Revival System. Throw 3 Dominic Orbs into a Pool of Water (that consists of a max of 512 Water Blocks) and tell the player that you want to Revive to go in the water pool. The “dead” player will be set in Survival but it’s existence is Frail. Taking any amount of damage will kill the Revived Player. To get rid of it’s Frail Existence, the Player must kill another player with a Dominic Weapon. - Hitting a Player with a Dominic Contract they signed while Holding any Sword in your offhand will cut off their offhand arm, making them unable to use the offhand slot. - Re-done some older textures for consistency. - Fixed multiple bugs/issues Also this isn’t the full 0.7 Update that I promised, but it’s more of a sneak peak, because it’d take way too long in between releases.

# Dominium 0.6 - THE REVAMP UPDATE PART 1 ## New Content - Added the Vessel - Added the Swapper - Added the Vassal (Dominium's Soulmould) - Added the Obelisk (Dominium's Charter Stone) - Added a Dominic Blocks Build Set. ## New Features - Vessels are a new way to punish people that signed contracts for you. Place a Soul Fire Source 2 block below them to apply Soul Debt to the signers. - Soul Debt effect doubles all damage and makes it bypass armor - The Swapper swaps two blocks from its top and bottom sides or the positions of two players when swapping two active vessels that hold 2 valid contracts. - The Vassal is a War Machine (Made and Improved from the Blueprints of a well known Mason) that was designed with only one goal in mind, to Protect its owner at all costs. - Obelisks are claim stones that protects an area from intruders. - Soulbound Contract now opens an action menu on right-click - Soulbound Contract holders can now force-sign normal contracts ## Fixes - Fixed Soul Strain triggering too early before armor mitigation - Fixed player inventory dropping incorrectly in certain situations - Spectator players with the Ghosted effect can no longer noclip through blocks - Soul Strain now blocks all Movement. - Fixed other bugs. ## Misc - Added Advancements - Redone most effect icons so they follow the Vanilla Template. - Fixed some Recipes - Removed the Dominic Dagger

- The Nether Roof Structures now spawn at the correct Nether Roof height from the Config.

- Added a Faction/Team System. - Use `/faction` to get started. - Fixed lots of bugs.

- Now, when falling into the Nether Void, you will be set to half a heart after being teleported Above The Roof. - Fixed some bugs and other stuff that slipped through.

 # **Dominium: Above the Roof** is the first major content update for the mod. It focuses on the Nether Roof, turning it into Dominium’s way of messing with Netherite farming, which is most likely the fastest way to obtain Netherite, while also delivering a strong _"you shouldn’t be here"_ vibe. ## Features & Content - **Revamped the Nether Roof:** - The Nether Roof is no longer a vast, empty expanse, but instead an abandoned complex. - The roof is no longer illuminated and lacks the light and warmth of the Nether, feeling like a cold, dark, abandoned complex instead. - It contains new structures where you can find **Suspicious Soul Sand**. Brush through it to uncover valuable items. - Beware of its inhabitants: **The Rooflings**. - **Rooflings:** - The Rooflings are hallucinations invoked by the eerie atmosphere of the Roof and have only one purpose: to kick the player out of the Roof. - When a Roofling hits a player, the player will start phasing through the ground until reaching a safe surface. If the player falls into the void, they will be teleported high above the Nether Roof. - **Suspicious Soul Sand:** - It can be found in structures that are above the Roof. - It drops many useful items, the most noticeable being **Netherite** and **The Necklaces**. - **The Necklaces:** - The Necklaces Dominium adds have one simple purpose: letting the player experience the world as a certain mob type. - The Undead Necklace makes you **Immune to hunger**, but you will **burn in the sun**. If you are wearing a helmet, you will instead be slowed while in sunlight. - The Arachnid Necklace allows you to **Climb Walls** and grants **Night Vision**, but makes you weak while exposed to the sun. - The Ethereal Necklace allows you to see through the Nether Roof's darkness, but makes you extremely vulnerable to Rooflings. - There will likely be more necklaces added in the next update. - **Other:** - Added the `/dominium:no_enchant_zone` command, which allows you to set custom areas where enchantments do not work. - Revamped The Gilded Onyx's kill effect (it now looks absolutely beautiful). - Looked into and attempted to fix some bugs reported on [GitHub](https://github.com/CalinXD-mc/Dominium/issues). - **From Version [0.4.10](https://modrinth.com/mod/dominium/version/0.4.10):** Replaced textures that were not originally mine with newly created, original assets. ## Misc - I have decided to discontinue the 1.21.10 version for now, as I will not be working on it in the near future.

- Added compatibility with [Arsenal](https://modrinth.com/mod/arsenal). - Added a glow-in-the-dark resource pack that comes with the mod (requires any mod that lets items to have emissive properties). - Fixed some inconsistencies.

- Updated the Soulbound Contract to better fit the rest of the Dominic Theme. - Crouching with a Signed Soulbound Contract now creates an aesthetic line between the Owner & the Signer.  - The First & Second uses of the Eternal Divinity, now only temporarly ban players. _(configurable)_ - Fixed some bugs & inconsistencies.
