🛡️ Why Discord2FA?
Token-grabbing is one of the biggest threats facing Minecraft players today. With Discord2FA, every login is verified through Discord — meaning even if someone steals a player's Minecraft credentials, they still can't get in without access to their Discord account. Beyond security, Discord2FA makes a great verification gate: players must link and verify through Discord before they can interact with your server, significantly reducing alt accounts and anonymous trolling.
⚙️ Setup
- Download the correct jar for your platform (Spigot, Paper, Velocity...)
- Create a Discord Bot at Discord Developer Portal and invite it to your server
- Configure config.yml with your bot token, guild ID, and channel ID
- Restart your server

Discord2FA uses grant-by-default permissions for link/unlink and op-only for admin:

- Unverified players can no longer interact with blocks/items/entities, attack or pick up items. Allow them again with the new `INTERACT`, `ATTACK` and `PICKUP` entries in `allowedActions`
- Verification is tied to the login session: an old Discord verify message can no longer verify a newer login
- If the Discord bot is configured but can't connect, players stay restricted instead of being let in
- Fresh installs run in setup mode and restrict nobody until the Discord bot is configured
- Link codes are now cryptographically random and expire after 15 minutes
- Updated the PostgreSQL driver (CVE-2026-54291)
- Fixed Spanish, Hindi, Dutch and Russian language files not being copied to the lang folder
- Fixed several language files showing a package name instead of "Discord", and the missing player name in Ukrainian
