- Hunger now depletes by one point for every five health points naturally regenerated, even if the fullness effect is active.

# Version changes * The new MC version for Different Survival is 1.20.1. * The new minimum version requirements is the following: * Geckolib Fabric 1.20.1-4.8.4 * Fabric API 0.92.9+1.20.1 * Fabric loader 0.19.3 * For REI functionality (highly recommended), please install the following: * RoughlyEnoughItems-12.1.785-fabric * Cloth-confight-11.1.136-fabric * Architectury-9.2.14-fabric * There have been basic testing on back porting from 1.20.2 to 1.20.1. You should likely be okay if you downgrade your world, however it is not a guarantee. It is highly recommend you make a backup world before downgrading your world like Minecraft suggests. # Screens * REI now works for the following block entities: Different Survival's blast furnace, Different Survival's furnace, pan, pot, and mortar and pestle. * The custom made recipe book for these entities have been removed. # Fixes * Fixed the recipes for the salad dressing, carrot meals, and wild vegetable soup. * Fixed blast furnace flickering glitch. # Removals * Removed the nether soup item. # Changes * Removed the particle effects when the player naturally acquires the dehydration or hydration effects. * Desert animals can no longer attack each other. # Localization * Updated localization for custom biomes and mobs.

# **Major Additions** - Added the four seasons to the mod, which affects visuals and gameplay. There is a seasons GUI in the bottom of the screen that shows the current season. - Orange leaf particles fall off dark oak and oak trees during the fall. - Crop growth is affected by the season, each crop has it's own list of preferred seasons. - Snow is cleared or added dynamically per chunk based on the season, weather, and biome. - Added new weather types and overhauled previous weather types. - The new list of weather types are clear, rain, thunderstorm, monsoon, snow, blizzard, and drought. - Overhauled the swamp biome. - Previously, the mangrove swamp biome took over the original swamp biome, however the original swamp biome is now the main swamp biome of the mod. - Added cat tails. - Oak trees no longer spawn in swamp biomes, but is replaced with mangrove trees. There are far less mangrove trees in swamps to reduce lag. - Tall grass is the main plant foliage, with mud and patches of grass for the biome floor. # **Minor Additions** **Effects** - Added the dehydration effect. It is acquired by being in a warm and dry biome during a drought. It prevents the player from sprinting. Can be prevented by wearing headgear or drinking a water bottle. Added the hydration effect. It is acquired by drinking a water bottle. It allows the player sprint when they are at or below six hunger points. **Food** - Added cat tail shoots, roasted pumpkin seeds, and allspice roasted pumpkin seeds. # **Removals** - Removed the pillager base from generation. - Removed the desert dungeon from generation. - Removed southwestern salad meal, southwestern salad, fancy southwestern salad, and southwestern dressing. - Removed white cherries and golden cherries. - Removed the salsa jar. - Removed elytra durability GUI. - Removed Different Survival's advancements. - Removed updates button in title screen. # **Changes** - Allspice berries no longer drop from acacia leaves, they now drop from jungle trees. - Saplings grow slightly slower. - The keep inventory rule is set to true by default. - Illagers can no longer spawn as captains.

Localization - Added the names for the chocolate cake item and the pumpkin pie item to the English translation file. - Added names of the new spawn eggs to the English translation file. Major fixes - Fixed crop age issues. - Fixed a server / client bug when interacting with cake entities. - Replaced all ice blocks, netherite tools and armor, and the elytra with custom versions of those items. Use the original items from the Different Survival creative menu tabs instead of vanilla's for proper and intended functionality. Minor Fixes - Removed smoker recipe errors - When milked, goats now give Different Survival's version of the milk bucket. Gameplay Changes - Prismarine ores only drop Prismarine shards. - Added an elytra durability HUD element when in survival mode. - Shulkers now have an one third chance of dropping a shulker shell.
