a penalty like not getting the cheese block back or not getting the Blue Cheese Upgrade Template back (ill go into that later) and just gettings its downgraded versions which can also be disabled if you don't want that with a gamerule (will also go into that later) and I HIGHLY recommend going in a single player world for 30s and expirimenting with the cheese upgrader and I'll post recipes in the description shortly after releasing this update (hopefully), also the gui just looks more clean in my opinion also another kind of change is that the cheese upgrader can be mined with a pickaxe to be mined faster, it does not require it to drop (this isn't a bug fox because I chose for this not to happen and them now I'm like, thats dumb so I changed it, this is true for almost all the cheese blocks that are in the mod)** * All blocks now show up on a minimap (with a minimap mod) most of them being yellow but some different like that Grass Block But Better and its variants showing up as green, you could classify this as a bug fix but I didn't really intend for this to happen in the first place so yeah (and I'm assuming this works the mapping color could have been for the in game maps but hopefully it works for minimap mods as well * The Cheese Ore now drops Raw Cheese (which will I'll explain later) like how iron ore drops raw iron and can be smelted the same way that cheese ore smelts used to smelt (the smelting recipes did get some changes which I'll also go into later) * The Cheese Block can be mined faster with a pickaxe, again does not require the pickaxe to drop it and only makes it faster to mine (this is the last time I'll mention that here so don't worry) and can also now tint beacons a color but cannot sadly make a beacon (yet hopefully maybe will be included in 1.5) * NEW ITEM Raw Cheese which is obtainable from mining cheese ore with a diamond pickaxe and really serves no use other than it can be smelted into cheese and also it cannot be eaten * NEW BLOCK the Raw Cheese Block does not spawn naturally unlike raw iron blocks and it is only for decoration really as it serves no use and is obtained by putting nine Raw Cheeses in a crafting table * the Decayed Cheese block can now be mined faster normally and is mined even faster with a pickaxe and can also change the color of a beacon beam and is the same color change as the cheese block * NEW BLOCK the Blue Activated Cheese Summoner is obtained when you right click the Cheese Summoner with Cheese to spawn in the Better Cheese Boss (which I'll go into detail later) and is mined with a diamond pickaxe or better and has the same tnt resistance and mining time and the original Cheese Upgrader * Cheese color of the text got changed to white or common and I don't think anything else got changed with the Cheese item specifically * NEW ITEM Blue Cheese got added and it can repair all cheese armor and tools and guns (I think and if it's not I'll quickly add it in 1.4.0.1 and it would be fixed tomorrow (I don't have time or patience to test it today so yeah) and when eaten gives 10 hearts of absorption (absorption V) for two minutes (might get nerfed if it's too easy to get and is expandable in the late game * The Bottle Of Cheese which is a potion of other potions and it received a proper description on what effects are in the potion like how all potions in Minecraft say what they give the Bottle Of Cheese now says that too * NEW ITEM the Broken Cheese Upgrader is a new item and it can be crafted into the Blue Cheese Upgrader (which I'll go into later) and is dropped from the Better Cheese Boss (which I'll also go into later) and otherwise serves no real purpose * NEW ITEM the Blue Cheese Upgrade Template (I know it's not the same name as the broken variant of it and I'll fix it after this update if I remember) is used to upgrade all cheese gear/tools/guns/ammo if they have a blue cheese counterpart and is very useful and like other vanilla upgrade templates it can be duped in a crafting table with some cheese and diamonds (if you've ever gotten netherite armor you know what I mean) * NEW ITEM the Explosive Cheese Upgrade Template is a variant of the Blue Cheese Upgrade Template is used to upgrade cheese guns to cheese bazooka and IS NOT used to upgrade ammo as that would be too expensive * Cheese Armor received some nerfs as it now gives a lot less armor points but is still better than netherite and now it only has five extra armor points compared to netherite armor and all only has four toughness points and if it did it doesn't have any knockback resistance and also its potions effects got a nerf and here they are: (in order of helmet to boots), Water Breathing, Fire Resistance, Haste I, and Speed II all for 10 ticks so when you take the armor off it basically just instantly goes away * Blue Cheese Armor also received some nerfs (you will see this to be a trend soon) and it also has a lot less armor points and it only has 5 extra armor points compared to cheese armor and it has 5 armor toughness points per armor piece and has 10 percent (0.1) knockback resistance and also its potion effects got nerfed and here they are: (in order of helmet to boots), Water Breathing for 30 second (basically when you take the helmet off you still have water breathing otherwise the effect is permanent when wearing the helmet), Fire Resistance for 15 seconds and is like the same with the helmet, Haste III (I did not want it to be haste III and it'll be fixed in 1.4.0.1 and so will the name fix in the Cheese Upgrader), and on the boots Speed IV and Jump Boost II and the Blue Cheese Leggings and Boots potion effects both go away instantly * The Cheese Sword also received some changes as it now does 12 attack damage, three higher attack damage compared to the netherite sword and has a 1.6 attack speed (for those who don't know higher attack speed the better) which is consistent with every other vanilla and non vanilla sword in the game * The Cheese Axe received changes for it to be more consistent as its attack damage was high and had a high attack speed (I noticed this when making this update) and the attack damage is now changed to 1.1 which is 0.1 attack speed higher than a netherite axe and has 11 attack damage making axes worse than Cheese Swords * The Cheese Shovel received some minor stat changes as well is it now has 7.5 attack damage compared to the netherite shovel having 6.5 attack damage and has 1 attack speed which is consistent across all vanilla and modded shovels * The Cheese hoe Cheese Upgrade Template (I know it's not the same name as the broken variant of it and I'll fix it after this update if I remember) is used to upgrade all cheese gear/tools/guns/ammo if they have a blue cheese counterpart and is very useful and like other vanilla upgrade templates it can be duped in a crafting table with some cheese and diamonds (if you've ever gotten netherite armor you know what I mean) * NEW ITEM the Explosive Cheese Upgrade Template is a variant of the Blue Cheese Upgrade Template is used to upgrade cheese guns to cheese bazooka and IS NOT used to upgrade ammo as that would be too expensive * Cheese Armor received some nerfs as it now gives a lot less armor points but is still better than netherite and now it only has five extra armor points compared to netherite armor and all only has four toughness points and if it did it doesn't have any knockback resistance and also its potions effects got a nerf and here they are: (in order of helmet to boots), Water Breathing, Fire Resistance, Haste I, and Speed II all for 10 ticks so when you take the armor off it basically just instantly goes away * Blue Cheese Armor also received some nerfs (you will see this to be a trend soon) and it also has a lot less armor points and it only has 5 extra armor points compared to cheese armor and it has 5 armor toughness points per armor piece and has 10 percent (0.1) knockback resistance and also its potion effects got nerfed and here they are: (in order of helmet to boots), Water Breathing for 30 second (basically when you take the helmet off you still have water breathing otherwise the effect is permanent when wearing the helmet), Fire Resistance for 15 seconds and is like the same with the helmet, Haste III (I did not want it to be haste III and it'll be fixed in 1.4.0.1 and so will the name fix in the Cheese Upgrader), and on the boots Speed IV and Jump Boost II and the Blue Cheese Leggings and Boots potion effects both go away instantly * The Cheese Sword also received some changes as it now does 12 attack damage, three higher attack damage compared to the netherite sword and has a 1.6 attack speed (for those who don't know higher attack speed the better) which is consistent with every other vanilla and non vanilla sword in the game * The Cheese Axe received changes for it to be more consistent as its attack damage was high and had a high attack speed (I noticed this when making this update) and the attack damage is now changed to 1.1 which is 0.1 attack speed higher than a netherite axe and has 11 attack damage making axes worse than Cheese Swords * The Cheese Shovel received some minor stat changes as well is it now has 7.5 attack damage compared to the netherite shovel having 6.5 attack damage and has 1 attack speed which is consistent across all vanilla and modded shovels * The Cheese hoe received probably the smallest stat change as its attack damage is now 2 compared to the netherite hoe which only has 1 attack speed --notes-- - this is a **BETA** version of this mod in 1.21.4 **SOME THINGS MAY NOT WORK AS INTENDED** - this does not add anything just Mcreator (the mod maker I use) released a new beta for 1.21.4 NeoForge - no new updates about the Forge loader sadly but hopefully that will change soon
