> **Waypoint manager fix + rewrite.** The in-game waypoint screen is finally usable: bug fixed, rows are info-dense, sorting works, the scrollbar is drag-grabbable, and Save commits in one click. Chat commands and on-disk waypoint files are unchanged.
**For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta**
---
## What's new
`b2.6.3` is a focused fix-and-polish release for the in-game waypoint manager. If you've been using `/waypoint` from chat without opening the screen, nothing changes for you. If you've tried opening the screen and found it broken, this release is the one that fixes it.
### The fix you actually want
In `b2.6.0`–`b2.6.2`, the waypoint screen would open but every button, the search field, and the create-here form were invisible and unclickable — the panel chrome was being painted on top of the widgets after they rendered. The whole menu felt broken. **Fixed.** Panel chrome now renders *under* the widgets, where it belongs. Same panel art, same layout idea, just with the z-layers sorted out.
While the screen was being rewritten anyway, the rest of the polish list landed too:
### Sort cycler
A new **Sort:** button next to the search field cycles through eight orderings in one click each:
- **Name A→Z** (default) and **Name Z→A**
- **Nearest first** and **Farthest first** (cross-dimension waypoints sit at the bottom in both directions, never bubbling up)
- **Newest first** and **Oldest first**
- **By dimension** (then alphabetical inside each dimension)
- **By color** (in the same color order as the swatch grid)
Tooltip on the button enumerates all eight. Distance sorts re-evaluate against your current position on every refresh, so they're always live.
### Information-dense rows
Each row now reads:
```
[●] Spawn overworld · 142m · 3d ago [TP] [Edit] [Delete]
[●] Mining outpost the_nether · (other) · 1w ago [TP] [Edit] [Delete]
[●] Storage room overworld · 18m · just now [TP] [Edit] [Delete]
```
- **`age`** is a relative timestamp (`just now`, `5m ago`, `3h ago`, `2d ago`, `8w ago`, `1y ago`) — uses the `createdAtMs` your storage layer has been recording since `b2.2.0`. No new data, no migration.
- **`dist`** stays green when you're within 32 blocks (already there in `b2.6.2`, just clearer now).
- **`dim`** is the short dimension name, trimmed cleanly if too long.
### Drag-grab scrollbar
The vertical scrollbar thumb is now grabbable: click + drag to scroll continuously, or click above/below the thumb to page up/down. Mouse wheel still works for one-row-at-a-time. Same affordance the enchant menu's scrollbar has had since `b2.6.0`.
### Inline rejection of bad names in Create-here
The **Create here** button used to silently no-op if you typed a name that wouldn't pass `Waypoint.validateName(...)` (e.g. a name with `/` in it). Now the input field clears and its placeholder hint flips to a red `⚠ <reason>` so you see why immediately.
### "Created" line in edit mode
The position read-out in edit mode gained a third line: `Created: 3d ago`. Same backdrop as the X/Y/Z + Dimension lines.
### Bigger panel + ten visible rows
Panel grew from `400×290` to `420×300`; visible rows per page bumped from 8 to 10. Same proportion of breathing room, more list visible at once.
### Single-click Save in edit mode
When both the name and the color were changed in edit mode, `b2.6.2`'s Save sometimes appeared to do nothing — the snapshot reply for `rename` re-rendered the screen before the `setcolor` packet was sent, so the color change wasn't reflected until you clicked Save again. **Fixed.** Save commits both in one click.
### Footer help text
Now reads `Esc to close · scroll wheel pages the list · drag the scrollbar · Delete is two-step` — surfaces the new drag affordance and reminds you that deletes are two-step before you panic-click.
---
## What didn't change
- **Chat commands.** `/waypoint`, `/wp`, `/tp-to`, `/waypoint create`, `/waypoint list`, `/waypoint tp`, `/waypoint delete`, `/waypoint rename`, `/waypoint setcolor`, `/waypoint setpos` — all identical.
- **Storage format.** Your `<world>/data/creativetoolkitplus/<uuid>.json` files load unchanged.
- **Network protocol.** `WaypointDataPayload` and `WaypointActionPayload` are byte-for-byte identical to `b2.6.2`.
- **Config schema.** No new fields. `b2.6.2` configs load unchanged.
- **Server actions.** `create_here`, `delete`, `rename`, `setcolor`, `move_here`, `teleport`, `refresh` — all the same.
---
## Highlights from before
If you're new, here's what was already in the mod:
- **Right-click / shift-click apply** — drop an enchanted book on an item to apply its enchantments.
- **Enchant menu** with **live search**, **Clear all** button, six rows, full-width labels.
- **`/ec sharpness 5`** — `/ec` works as a `/enchant` shortcut, with self-targeting when no target is given.
- **`/ec clear`, `/ec clear <targets>`** — strip every enchantment off the held item.
- **`/creativetoolkitplus` (alias `/ctp`)** — mod-wide command tree with `help`, `info`, `version`, `mode`, `config`, `reload`, `features`, `feature`, `report`.
- **Waypoint manager** — `/waypoint` with a vanilla-styled UI, search, sort, color grid, two-step Delete confirm, one-click "move waypoint here", inline name validation.
- **`/back [n]`** — teleport back to where you were, with full history and death-location tracking.
- **`/heal`, `/feed`, `/enderchest`, `/day`, `/night`, `/noon`, `/midnight`** — small creative-mode QoL commands.
- **`/gm`, `/survival`, `/creative`, `/spectator`, `/adventure`** — gamemode shortcuts (b2.6.2).
- **Tabbed in-game config screen** with Mod Menu integration.
- **Client/server/both execution mode toggle**.

# Creative Toolkit+ `b2.6.2`
> **Gamemode shortcuts** — five new op-only commands that mirror the way most servers actually use vanilla `/gamemode`. `/gm`, `/survival`, `/creative`, `/spectator`, `/adventure`. All optional, all gated by a single master switch.
**For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta**
---
## What's new
`b2.6.1` was an in-game UX polish pass. `b2.6.2` is purely additive — five new chat commands, no behavior change anywhere else.
### `/gm <mode>`
Set your own gamemode in the shortest form:
```
/gm survival
/gm creative
/gm adventure
/gm spectator
```
The mode argument is permissive — short forms (`s`, `c`, `a`, `sp`) and the legacy numbers (`0`, `1`, `2`, `3`) all work, case-insensitive. Tab-completion suggests the four full names.
### `/gm <targets> <mode>`
Same command, but with explicit targets:
```
/gm @a creative
/gm JustJellyPlays survival
/gm @e[type=player,distance=..50] adventure
```
Only online players match (we use `EntityArgument.players()` under the hood). Vanilla `/gamemode` is **not** replaced — it works exactly as before.
### `/survival`, `/creative`, `/spectator`, `/adventure`
Fixed-mode shortcuts for when you don't even want to type the mode:
```
/survival — set yourself to Survival
/creative @a — set everyone to Creative
/spectator JustJellyPlays — drop a friend into Spectator
/adventure — flip yourself to Adventure
```
Without targets they act on the executor; with `<targets>` they act on the matched players.
### One master switch to rule them all
A new **Enable gamemode shortcuts** checkbox lives on the Config screen's **Player** tab (default **on**). Toggling it off via the screen, via `/ctp feature gamemode off`, or by editing `creativetoolkitplus.json` will keep our five names from registering on next world load. Vanilla `/gamemode` is unaffected — disable our shortcuts safely if they collide with another mod claiming the same names.
The toggle is also surfaced in `/ctp info` and `/ctp report` next to the other master switches, so server admins can see at a glance whether the shortcuts are live.
### Help text
`/ctp help` now lists a dedicated **Game mode (op)** section when the toggle is on:
```
Game mode (op)
/gm <mode> set your gamemode (survival/creative/adventure/spectator)
/gm <targets> <mode> set targets' gamemode
/survival [<targets>] shortcut for survival
/creative [<targets>] shortcut for creative
/spectator [<targets>] shortcut for spectator
/adventure [<targets>] shortcut for adventure
```
### Permissions
All five commands are op-2, matching vanilla `/gamemode`. Third-party permission systems (LuckPerms, etc.) work transparently because we go through `PermissionUtil`, which already understands the Fabric Permissions API where present.

# Creative Toolkit+ `b2.6.1`
> **In-game UX polish pass** — every menu the mod ships got a once-over. Two-step Delete and Reset confirms, inline validation, a dirty-Save indicator, a clear active-tab visual, grouped Enchanting settings, plus one new chat command (`/waypoint setpos`) that closes the last gap between the UI and the chat surface.
**For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta**
---
## What's new
`b2.6.0` overhauled the enchant menu screen. `b2.6.1` is a focused polish release that makes the existing **Waypoint Manager**, **Enchant Menu**, and **Configuration** screens nicer to live in.
No new big features — just the small, accumulated rough edges we found while auditing every menu and command.
### Two-step **Delete** in the waypoint list
The per-row **Delete** button used to fire the moment you clicked it. Now the first click arms the button (label flips to **Confirm?** in red, with a tooltip telling you to click again within 3 seconds), and the second click actually deletes. Misclicks no longer cost you a waypoint.
The edit-mode **Delete** button has worked this way since the manager shipped; the per-row variant now matches it.
### Two-step **Reset to Defaults** in the config screen
Same pattern, applied to the Reset button in the config footer. First click arms it (label becomes **Click again to reset**), second click within 3 seconds nukes pending edits. The window auto-disarms if you don't confirm.
### Save button shows when there are unsaved edits
Open the config screen, change anything, and the **Save & Apply** button switches to **Save & Apply *** in gold. As soon as you Save (or back out everything you changed), the asterisk disappears. No more "did I save that?" guesswork.
### Inline validation while you type
- **Waypoint manager edit mode** — the name field now highlights validation errors inline next to the `Name` label as you type. Try a name with `/` in it and you'll see the validator complain immediately, instead of Save silently doing nothing later.
- **Configuration screen** — int fields (waypoint cap, /back history size, debounce, OP-menu max level, etc.) now show a red `out of range` / `not a number` / `required` label next to the input the moment your typed value can't be applied. The `[min-max]` hint comes back automatically when the value becomes valid again.
### Active config tab actually looks selected
The config screen's sidebar used to indicate the active tab by greying it out — which read more like "this tab is disabled". Now the active tab keeps its hover/focus visuals, and is signaled three ways: a leading `▶` glyph, a bold yellow label, and a solid 4-px gold side-band against the dark sidebar.
### Enchanting tab grouped into subsections
The previously-flat list of nine checkboxes now reads top-to-bottom as three small clusters with grey sub-headers:
- **Apply behavior** — `Creative only`, `Allow Survival`, `Allow unsafe enchants`, `Ignore max levels`, `Require op (apply)`.
- **Books / cursor** — `Consume books`, `Hand interaction`, `Hotkey apply`.
- **Menus** — `/ec-menu op-only`, `Apply sound`, `/ec-menu-op max level`.
### "Apply sound" cycle button reads in English
The cycle button used to display raw `enchantment_table` / `anvil` values. Now it cycles between **Enchantment table** and **Anvil**. The on-disk config value is unchanged — you can keep editing `creativetoolkitplus.json` by hand and nothing breaks.
### `/waypoint setpos <name>` — chat parity for the UI's "Move here" button
The Waypoint Manager edit screen has had a **Move waypoint to my current position** button since `b2.3.0`. There was no chat-command equivalent. Now there is:
```
/waypoint setpos <name>
```
(also available as `/wp setpos <name>`). Replaces the named waypoint's coordinates / yaw / pitch / dimension with where you're standing right now, preserving the original name, color, and creation timestamp. Any open waypoint manager refreshes its position read-out automatically.
### Smaller fixes
- **Enchant menu header band** — the filter line (`X of Y match "…"`) and the scroll-position hint no longer overlap. The scroll hint now reads `page A of B` instead of the cryptic `1/3`.
- **Waypoint manager search** — typing in the search box no longer destroys and re-creates the search field itself every keystroke. Cursor position and focus survive every keypress without the previous "save / restore cursor" gymnastics.
- **Config screen Player tab** — removed the duplicate `Enable utility commands` checkbox (it appeared on both Time and Player tabs and edited the same field). Replaced with a one-line note pointing to the Time tab where the master switch lives.
- **Edit-mode Position section** — the sunken backdrop is now drawn before the labels, instead of being drawn over them and forcing a redraw. Half the work, identical visual result.
- **Waypoint screen footer help** — replaced the `/tp-to <name> · /back` chat-command list with in-UI hints (`scroll wheel pages the list · Edit / Delete confirm to avoid mistakes`). Chat-command discoverability lives in `/ctp help` now, not the screen footer.

**For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta**
---
## What's new
`b2.5.0` finished cleaning up the command surface. `b2.6.0` puts that same energy on the **enchant menu screen** itself — the one you open with `/ec menu` and `/ec menu-op`.
### Live search bar
A bordered text field sits above the enchantment list. Type to filter — the list re-paints **as you type**, matching by:
- **Display name** — `sharp`, `mending`, `Curse of Vanishing`, partial words, all case-insensitive.
- **Registry id** — `minecraft:sharpness`, `mod:custom_enchant`, even just `vanishing`.
When a search is active, a small `"X of Y match \"…\""` line appears above the list so you always know whether you're looking at a filtered view. An empty search clears instantly.
### One-click "Clear all" button
A new **Clear all** button lives next to the input slot info column. Click it, every enchantment is stripped from the input stack in a single packet — no more chasing each row's `×` button.
- Item names, lore, durability, custom NBT, and modded data are **preserved** — only the enchantment component is wiped.
- The button is greyed out whenever the input slot is empty *or* has nothing to clear, so you never get a dud-click.
- Same code path as `/ec clear`, just bound to a button so you don't have to type or close the menu.
Tooltip on the button spells out exactly what gets cleared.
### Roomier 280×280 layout
The panel grew from `200×230` to `280×280`. Concrete wins:
- **Six visible enchantment rows** instead of five.
- **Per-row label width** went from 108 px to 156 px — `Curse of Vanishing` and `Soul Speed` finally render in full instead of as `Curse of V…`.
- **Bigger per-row buttons** (`18×14` instead of `12×12`) with a small gap between `+` and `×` so you don't accidentally remove the wrong enchantment.
- **Hover overlay** on the row currently under the mouse — easier to track which row you're about to click.
- **Centered player inventory** at the bottom, vanilla-style.
### Smarter list refresh
The list now also refreshes when the input stack's enchantment count changes between ticks, not just when the whole stack changes. So clicking **Clear all** (or running `/ec sharpness 5` while the menu is open) immediately re-sorts applied enchantments to the bottom and shows the correct counts — no stale view, no need to close and reopen.
### Per-row tooltips finally translatable
The hard-coded `"Remove 1 level\nShift = 10, Ctrl = 100"` strings on the per-row buttons moved to translation keys. The Ctrl-multiplier text now also correctly notes "OP only" since Ctrl×100 is gated on `/ec menu-op`.

## What's new
### `/ec clear` — strip enchantments off an item
A focused inverse of `/ec apply`:
- **`/ec clear`** — removes every enchantment from your main-hand item.
- **`/ec clear <targets>`** — same, on each living target's main-hand item (any `@selector` or player name works, e.g. `/ec clear @a`, `/ec clear Steve`).
Item names, lore, durability, custom NBT, and modded data are preserved — only the enchantment component is wiped. Op level 2, like the rest of `/ec`. Feedback shows how many enchantments were removed and across how many entities.
### `/ec` and `/creativetoolkitplus` are now properly separated
Earlier builds bound the same enchanting tree to both `/ec` **and** `/creativetoolkitplus`, and `/ec help` printed the entire mod's command reference. That's been fixed:
- **`/ec`** is now **enchanting only**: `apply`, `clear`, `menu`, `menu-op`, `help`. `/ec help` lists only those.
- **`/creativetoolkitplus`** (alias **`/ctp`**) is the **mod-wide** root: `help`, `version`, `info`, `mode`, `config`, `reload`, `features`, `feature`, `report`. `/ctp help` lists every command across the whole mod.
If you used to type `/ec config` or `/ec reload`, those moved to `/ctp config` and `/ctp reload`. The standalone client command `/ec-config` still works on vanilla servers exactly as before.
### `/ctp` — a real mod root
The new mod-wide root brings a generous set of useful subcommands, all available via the short `/ctp` alias:
| Command | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `/ctp` or `/ctp help` | Full mod command reference (every subsystem) |
| `/ctp version` | One-line version string |
| `/ctp info` | One-page info card: version, MC version, Fabric loader, side, mode, Mod Menu detection, every master toggle |
| `/ctp mode` | Show the current execution mode |
| `/ctp mode <client\|server\|both>` | Set + persist execution mode (op) |
| `/ctp config` | Open the in-game config screen |
| `/ctp reload` | Reload `creativetoolkitplus.json` from disk (op) |
| `/ctp features` | List every feature toggle and whether it's on |
| `/ctp feature <name>` | Show one feature's state and the underlying config field |
| `/ctp feature <name> <on\|off\|toggle>` | Set + persist a feature toggle (op) |
| `/ctp report` | Copy-pasteable diagnostic dump for bug reports |
Six feature names are toggleable at runtime: `waypoints`, `back`, `utility`, `quick-actions`, `hand-interaction`, `hotkey-apply`.
### Friendly aliases on the mode setter
`/ctp mode` accepts the obvious spellings and skips you straight to the right enum:
- `client`, `client_only`, `clientonly`, `clientside` → `CLIENT_ONLY`
- `server`, `server_only`, `serveronly`, `serverside` → `SERVER_ONLY`
- `both`, `all` → `BOTH`
### Tab completion everywhere
Tab works on `mode <…>`, `feature <name>`, `feature <name> <on|off|toggle>`. Unknown feature names print the full list inline.
### `/ctp report` — for bug reports
Prints a structured diagnostic block to chat **and** logs it to the server console:
```
=== Creative Toolkit+ report ===
version: b2.5.0
mc: 26.1.x
loader: 0.19.2
env: integrated
modmenu: yes
executionMode: BOTH
features:
waypoints=on
back=on
utility=on
quick-actions=on
hand-interaction=on
hotkey-apply=off
scalars:
opMenuMaxLevel=32767
…
```
Paste it straight into a bug report — it's everything anyone debugging your install will ask for.

- **18 keybinds + Control category** for client-side player customization.
---
## Installation
1. **Fabric Loader 0.19.0+** for any 26.1.x Minecraft release.
2. **Fabric API** in your `mods/` folder.
3. (Optional) **Mod Menu** if you want our config in the mods list.
4. Drop **`creativetoolkitplus-b2.5.0.jar`** in `mods/`.
5. Launch.
Existing config files from `b2.4.0` and earlier load **unchanged** — no schema changes in this release.
---
## Compatibility
- **Minecraft:** `26.1.x` (any patch — 26.1.0, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.1.3 …)
- **Loader:** Fabric Loader **0.19.0+**
- **Required:** Fabric API
- **Optional:** Mod Menu **18.0.0-beta.1+** (for 26.1)
- **Java:** 25 (already required by MC 26.1)
- **Side:** server + client; can be installed on either side alone
---
## Migration notes (small but worth knowing)
- `/ec config` → **`/ctp config`** (or `/ec-config` on the client).
- `/ec reload` → **`/ctp reload`**.
- `/ec help` no longer shows waypoint / `/back` / utility commands — those live under `/ctp help`.
- `/creativetoolkitplus sharpness 5` no longer enchants — the mod-wide root no longer carries the enchant arguments. Use `/ec sharpness 5`.
Everything else is unchanged.

Creative Toolkit+ b2.4.0

Что нового
# Creative Toolkit+ `b2.4.0`
> Tabbed in-game config menu, **Mod Menu** integration, side-mode toggle, **18 new keybinds**, and a brand-new **Control** category for client-side player customization.
**For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta**
---
## What's new
This release is all about how you *use* the mod day to day. The single-page settings screen is gone, replaced by a tabbed menu that mirrors how Minecraft groups vanilla options. Mod Menu support means it shows up where every other mod's config lives. And the new **Control** category gives you client-side movement / inventory tweaks that don't need a server.
### A real config UI
- **Tabbed sidebar layout.** Eight tabs: General · Enchanting · Waypoint · Time · Player · Control · Lists · About. Each one only shows the toggles that belong to it.
- **Mod Menu support.** If you have [Mod Menu](https://modrinth.com/mod/modmenu) installed, our config screen is one click away from the mods list. (Mod Menu is **not** required — open the screen via `/ec config`, `/ec-config`, or a custom keybind.)
- **About tab** tells you whether Mod Menu is detected and shows the running mod version.
### Side-mode toggle
A new **Execution mode** dropdown at the top of the General tab: `Client only` · `Server only` · `Both (recommended)`. It controls which categories of features are allowed to run on this install — useful for strict client-only setups, server-managed installs, and players who want to fence the mod off from one side of the network.
### 18 keybinds you can assign
Every feature now has its own keybind. They all default to **Unbound** so the mod ships silent — bind only what you want, in **Options → Controls → Key Binds → Creative Toolkit+** (we registered our own custom category there so they're easy to find):
| Category | Keybinds |
| --- | --- |
| **General** | Open config |
| **Enchanting** | Apply book to hovered stack · Open vanilla menu · Open OP menu |
| **Waypoint** | Open waypoint manager |
| **Time** | Set Day · Set Night · Set Noon · Set Midnight |
| **Player** | Quick heal · Quick feed · /back 1 step · Open ender chest |
| **Control** | Toggle auto-sprint · Secondary sprint · Secondary drop (one) · Secondary drop (stack) |
Each fires the same op-gated server action that the matching slash command uses, so server admins keep full control.
### New: Control category
Client-side player input customization, no server needed:
- **Auto-sprint** — sprint kicks in automatically when you hold forward (and you're not crouching, using an item, or starving).
- **Auto-sprint toggle keybind** — flip auto-sprint on/off mid-session. Latches by default; can be configured as a one-shot start-sprinting trigger.
- **Secondary sprint key** — bind a second key as duplicate sprint. Great for left-handers, thumb buttons, or controllers.
- **Secondary drop keys** — two extra keys that drop one item / a whole stack. Independent of the vanilla drop binding.
- **Safe drop** — when on, vanilla's drop key does nothing if your main hand is empty. Stops accidental "Q in inventory" disasters.
---
## Highlights from before
If you're new, here's what was already in the mod:
- **Right-click / shift-click apply** — drop an enchanted book on an item to apply its enchantments.
- **`/ec menu` and `/ec menu-op`** — vanilla-styled enchanting screens; the OP variant lets you set any level on anything.
- **`/ec sharpness 5`** — `/ec` works as a `/enchant` shortcut, with self-targeting when no target is given.
- **Waypoint manager** — vanilla-styled per-player UI with **search**, **edit mode**, **4×4 color picker**, **two-step delete confirm**, and **"Move waypoint to my current position"**. Persists per player to the world's `data/` folder.
- **`/back [n]`** — teleport back to where you were, with full history and death-location tracking.
- **`/heal`, `/feed`, `/enderchest`, `/day`, `/night`, `/noon`, `/midnight`** — small creative-mode QoL commands.

## Installation
1. **Fabric Loader 0.19.0+** for any 26.1.x Minecraft release.
2. **Fabric API** in your `mods/` folder.
3. (Optional) **Mod Menu** if you want our config in the mods list.
4. Drop **`creativetoolkitplus-b2.4.0.jar`** in `mods/`.
5. Launch.
The first run creates `config/creativetoolkitplus.json` you can hand-edit. All in-game changes save to the same file.
---
## Compatibility
- **Minecraft:** `26.1.x` (any patch — 26.1.0, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.1.3 …)
- **Loader:** Fabric Loader **0.19.0+**
- **Required:** Fabric API
- **Optional:** Mod Menu **18.0.0-beta.1+** (for 26.1)
- **Java:** 25 (already required by MC 26.1)
- **Side:** server + client; can be installed on either side alone
Existing config files from `b2.3.0` and earlier load **unchanged** — new fields fall back to defaults (`executionMode = BOTH`, all Control toggles off, all new keybinds unbound).
---
## Known caveats
- **Keybind rebinding flows through vanilla controls**, not the in-screen widget. The keybind rows in the new menu show the current binding and tooltip; actual rebinding happens in **Options → Controls → Key Binds → Creative Toolkit+**. We made this trade to avoid getting tangled in the moving 26.x input API surface — see the in-app About tab for context.
- **Mod Menu integration requires Mod Menu 18.0.0-beta.1 or newer for 26.1.** Earlier Mod Menu builds target older MC and won't see our entrypoint.

Creative Toolkit+ b2.3.0
b2.3.010 мая 2026 г.18Minecraft: 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2fabric
Что нового
# Creative Toolkit+ `b2.3.0`
> **Waypoint manager UX overhaul** — live search, real edit mode, full color picker, two-step delete, and a one-click "move waypoint here".
**For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta**
---
## What's new
`b2.2.0` shipped the waypoint system. `b2.3.0` makes it a *real* tool.
### Live search bar
A full-width search field at the top of the manager filters the list **as you type** — by name, color, *and* dimension id (case-insensitive substring). The subtitle line updates to `"X of Y waypoints"` whenever a filter is active.
### Per-row buttons that you can actually read
The cramped icon trio (`TP` / `•` / `✖`) is gone. Each row now has clear text buttons:
- **`TP`** — teleport to the waypoint.
- **`Edit`** — opens the new edit screen for this waypoint.
- **`Delete`** — deletes the waypoint *(the in-list button is the quick path; the edit screen has the safer two-step confirm)*.
Tooltips spell out the target so you can never confuse two waypoints with similar names.
### Edit mode (new)
Clicking **Edit** swaps the screen into a single-waypoint editor without leaving the manager:
- **Editable name field** — same `[A-Za-z0-9_\-.]+` rules as the server, so invalid names get caught client-side before any packet flies.
- **4×4 color grid** — 16 clickable color swatches matching `Waypoint.COLORS` exactly. Selected swatch gets a white outer ring + double-inset inner border so it's unmistakable.
- **Read-only position read-out** — shows X / Y / Z / yaw / dimension, with a wide `[Move waypoint to my current position]` button that updates the waypoint *in place* (preserving name, color, and creation time).
- **Bottom action row** — `Delete` / `Cancel` / `Save`.
- `Delete` has a **two-step confirm**: first click swaps the label to red `Confirm delete?` for 3 seconds; a second click within that window actually deletes.
- `Save` translates the diff into actions — rename if the name changed, recolor if the color changed. If neither changed, `Save` behaves like `Cancel`.
### Snapshot-aware
If the waypoint you're editing gets deleted server-side (by another client, or by you via the in-list delete), the screen automatically pops back to the list view. If it gets moved/recolored elsewhere, the editor reflects the latest state without losing your in-progress text.
### Visual polish
- Same vanilla beige beveled panel as `CtpEnchantScreen` for visual consistency.
- Sunken backdrops under the list and the create-form area; alternating row banding (subtle); per-row hover overlay.
- Dedicated draggable scrollbar thumb on the right edge of the list (vanilla creative-tab style).
- Distance display switches to **kilometers** above 1000 m (`%.1fkm`), so cross-continent waypoints stay readable.
- Form-field continuity across rebuilds: typing in the search/name fields no longer gets wiped by snapshot updates.
---
## Highlights from before
If you're new, here's what was already in the mod:
- **Right-click / shift-click apply** — drop an enchanted book on an item to apply its enchantments.

Что нового
# Creative Toolkit+ `b2.2.1`
> Bug-fix release. **Shift-click apply no longer eats your target item**, and the **enchant menu UI was rewritten** to fix invisible text and missing slot wells.
**For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · public beta**
---
## What's fixed
### Shift-click apply no longer destroys items
If you used the new `b2.1.1` shift-click flow on a server, your item could disappear (server applied the enchant in place; client thought the item moved). That's gone.
Under the hood we split `EnchantApplicator` into a side-agnostic `shouldIntercept(...)` (purely structural — only consults synced state) and a server-only `applyServerSide(...)`. The mixin now decides "do we swallow this click?" identically on both sides, eliminating the divergent-prediction window. As a belt-and-braces measure, every server-side early-return path also calls `resyncSlots(handler)` so the client always gets an authoritative snapshot.
### Enchant menus (`/ec menu`, `/ec menu-op`) were unreadable
The previous 320×234 panel had two stacked rendering bugs in 26.1:
1. Text colors written without an alpha byte (`0x404040`) came through as *fully transparent*, so titles, item names, badge text, and enchant labels were all invisible.
2. Custom-painted backgrounds don't get vanilla's slot wells, so empty inventory slots blended into the panel.
The screen has been **rewritten** with:
- A new **200×230** layout close to the vanilla enchanting-table footprint.
- Input slot top-left, item name + applied-enchant count next to it.
- A **sunken scrollable list** (5 visible rows) with a draggable scrollbar thumb + mouse-wheel.
- Three small per-row buttons: `−` `+` `×`. **Shift = ×10**, **Ctrl = ×100** (OP mode only). Tooltips document this.
- Rows sorted with **applied enchants first**, then alphabetical.
- A **mode badge** in the top-right (green `VANILLA` / red `OP MENU`) for at-a-glance disambiguation.
- All text + fill colors carry the explicit `0xFF` alpha byte that 26.1's renderer requires.
- Manually drawn 18×18 sunken slot wells for the input slot, all 27 inventory slots, and all 9 hotbar slots.
### New string
- `creativetoolkitplus.label.insert_item` — *"Insert an item to enchant"*. Shown in the empty list area when no item is in the input slot.
---
## What's *not* changed
- `b2.2.0`'s waypoint system, `/back`, `/heal`, `/feed`, `/enderchest`, `/day`/`/night`/`/noon`/`/midnight`.
- `/ec` syntax and self-targeting.
- The right-click apply pipeline.
- The on-disk config schema.
This is a **drop-in replacement** for `b2.2.0`. No config edits required.

## What's new
The right-click-apply core is unchanged. On top of it we now ship a small bundle of creative-mode QoL features:
### Waypoint manager — `/waypoint`, `/wp`, `/tp-to <name>`
Per-player teleport bookmarks with a real GUI.
- **`/waypoint`** or **`/waypoint menu`** — opens a vanilla-styled per-player list. Each row shows a color swatch, name, dimension, and live distance, plus three small buttons: **TP** (teleport), **•** (cycle color), **✖** (delete).
- **`/waypoint create <name> [color]`** — bookmark your current position. Names follow `[A-Za-z0-9_\-.]+`, max 32 chars; 16 vanilla-dye colors.
- **`/waypoint list`** — chat list with coords + dimension.
- **`/waypoint tp <name>`** / **`/tp-to <name>`** — teleport (cross-dim supported).
- **`/waypoint delete`** / **`/waypoint rename`** / **`/waypoint setcolor`** — manage from chat.
- Tab-completion works for all name and color arguments.
- Waypoints persist per-player in `<world>/data/creativetoolkitplus/<uuid>.json`.
- Default cap is **64 waypoints per player** (configurable; `0 = unlimited`).
- The whole subsystem can be turned off server-wide with `enableWaypoints: false`.
### `/back [n]` — go back to your previous location
- **`/back`** — teleport one step back.
- **`/back <n>`** — teleport `n` steps back (max 64).
- Tracks any teleport that moves you more than 32 blocks in a single tick: vanilla `/tp`, `/waypoint tp`, dimension changes, portals, command-block teleports — all detected.
- Death is tracked too — `/back` after respawning takes you to where you died, perfect for picking up your loot.
- History is in-memory (not persisted across server restarts), capped at 64 entries.
- Toggle with `enableBack: false`.
### Utility commands (op-only by default)
All gated by `enableUtilityCommands`.
- **`/enderchest`** / **`/echest`** — open your own ender chest from anywhere.
- **`/heal [amount]`** — fill HP, or `/heal 6` (6 HP), or `/heal 50%` (half of max HP).
- **`/feed [amount]`** — same shape, for hunger; saturation gets topped up so the bar doesn't immediately tick down.
- **`/day`**, **`/night`**, **`/noon`**, **`/midnight`** — set the world's time to that marker. Uses the new 26.1 clock subsystem under the hood.
### `/ec` self-targets when no target is given
- **`/ec sharpness 5`** — enchants whatever you're holding, no `@s` needed.
- **`/ec @a sharpness 5`** — keeps the entity-targeted form working exactly as before.
### Per-feature config toggles
- `enableWaypoints` (default `true`)
- `enableBack` (default `true`)
- `enableUtilityCommands` (default `true`)
- `maxWaypointsPerPlayer` (default `64`, `0 = unlimited`)
- `backHistorySize` (default `64`)
---
## Highlights from `b2.1.x`
If you missed `b2.1.x`, the mod also ships:
- **Right-click *or* shift-click apply** — an enchanted book on the cursor + click on a target item = enchantments applied.
- **`/ec menu` and `/ec menu-op`** — vanilla-styled enchanting screens; the OP variant lists every enchantment with no compatibility checks.
- **`/ec` as a `/enchant` shortcut** — same `<targets> <enchantment> [level]` syntax + same op-2 requirement.
- **In-game config screen** via `/ec config` (in chat) or `/ec-config` (works on vanilla servers too), or assign a key under **Controls → Misc**.
---
## Installation
1. **Fabric Loader 0.19.0+** for any 26.1.x Minecraft release.
2. **Fabric API** in your `mods/` folder.
3. Drop **`creativetoolkitplus-b2.2.0.jar`** in `mods/`.
4. Launch.
The first run creates `config/creativetoolkitplus.json`. New `b2.2.0` keys are added with their defaults; everything else carries over from `b2.1.x`.
---
## Compatibility
- **Minecraft:** `26.1.x`
- **Loader:** Fabric Loader **0.19.0+**
- **Required:** Fabric API
- **Java:** 25 (already required by MC 26.1)
We claim these new commands: `/waypoint`, `/wp`, `/tp-to`, `/back`, `/enderchest`, `/echest`, `/heal`, `/feed`, `/day`, `/night`, `/noon`, `/midnight`. If another mod registers any of these, set the matching `enable…` config toggle to `false` to avoid the collision.
---
## Known issues
- Shift-click apply (added in `b2.1.1`) can occasionally consume the target item on dedicated servers due to a client/server prediction split. **This is fully fixed in `b2.2.1`** — please consider upgrading.
- The default in-game enchant menu has color/alpha rendering issues that hide some labels in `b2.2.0`. **Also fixed in `b2.2.1`.**

> Adds **shift-click apply**, makes **`/ec` a `/enchant` shortcut**, and ships a **vanilla-styled enchant menu UI**.
**For Minecraft 26.1.x · Fabric · alpha**
---
## What's new
### Shift-click apply
Until now you had to right-click. Now shift-click works too — same rules: enchanted book on the cursor (or in your hand if `enableHandInteraction` is on), shift-click any item slot to merge the book's enchantments. If there's no book in scope, vanilla shift-move runs as before — your existing inventory shuffles are untouched.
### `/ec` as a `/enchant` shortcut
`/ec <targets> <enchantment> [level]` now mirrors vanilla `/enchant` with the same arguments, the same validation rules (`isSupportedItem`, `isEnchantmentCompatible`, max-level cap), and the same op-2 requirement. Use **`/ec menu-op`** if you need to bypass the vanilla rules.
The literal subcommands (`help`, `menu`, `menu-op`, `config`, `reload`) win over the entity-selector branch in Brigadier, so there's no ambiguity.
### `/ec help` exists now
Bare `/ec` still falls through to it, but `/ec help` is now an explicit subcommand and prints the full reference.
### `/ec config` from chat
Server-side subcommand that sends a new S2C `OpenConfigPayload` to the client, which opens `CtpConfigScreen`. The standalone client command `/ec-config` still works on vanilla servers — the S2C variant just lets ops type `/ec config` natively in chat.
### Vanilla-styled enchant menu UI
`CtpEnchantScreen` was rewritten end-to-end:
- Image bumped to **320×234** to fit a centered player inventory plus a roomy enchantment list on the right.
- Background painted with `drawVanillaPanel(...)` — beige `0xC6C6C6` fill, white top/left bevel, dark `0x555555` bottom/right bevel, 1px black outer border. The recessed list area uses `drawSunken(...)` (inverted bevels) so the list visibly "sinks" into the panel like vanilla anvil/grindstone.
- Per-row label / button columns no longer overlap. Labels live at `x=10..130` (truncated with `…`), buttons start at a fixed `x=134`. Vanilla mode shows 5 buttons (`-10/-1/+1/+10/X`); OP mode adds `-100/+100`.
- Mode badge top-right (green for vanilla / red for OP). Per-row labels drawn green when applied, dark grey when not.
- Slot positions in `CtpEnchantMenu` updated to match the new layout exactly.
---
## Highlights from before
- Right-click apply with enchanted books.
- `/ec menu` and `/ec menu-op` enchanting screens.
- In-game configuration screen (`CtpConfigScreen`) accessible via `/ec-config` or a custom keybind.
- Per-feature config toggles in `config/creativetoolkitplus.json`.

## What's new
### In-game configuration screen
A new `CtpConfigScreen` lets you edit every config value live, without restarting and without touching the JSON file.
- **Open it via `/ec-config`** — registered as a Fabric **client** command (no server roundtrip; opens the screen locally).
- **Or bind a key** — the new `key.creativetoolkitplus.config` keybind ships unbound; assign it under **Controls → Misc**.
- The screen edits a **working copy** (`ModConfig.copy()`) and only commits to disk on **Save & Apply**.
- **Reset to Defaults** swaps in `ConfigManager.defaultConfig()` and rebuilds the widgets.
- **Cancel** closes without writing.
### Widget choices
- Booleans render as `Checkbox` widgets with hover tooltips so you can see what each toggle does.
- `soundType` uses a `CycleButton<String>`.
- `opMenuMaxLevel` uses an `EditBox` (no `setFilter` in 26.1 — invalid input is just ignored by the responder, the previous valid value sticks).
- Lists are read-only with a count summary; edit them in JSON.
### Server-context awareness
A note painted into the screen distinguishes singleplayer / integrated-server vs dedicated-server, since on a dedicated server only client-side knobs (sounds / particles / messages) actually take effect for the connected player.
### Version display
A new `MOD_VERSION_DISPLAY` constant on `CreativeToolkitPlusMod` shows the version in the screen footer without a `FabricLoader` lookup.
### `/ec` help update
Help text for `/ec` now mentions `/ec-config`.

---
## What's new
### Wider Minecraft compatibility
The same jar now loads on any 26.1.x patch release — `26.1.0`, `26.1.1`, `26.1.2`, `26.1.3`, etc. — without rebuilding.
Compile target stays `26.1.2` (patch versions of MC are binary-compatible at the API level), so this is a **metadata-only change** — no behavior changes.
### Folder rename
The version folder went from `creativetoolkitplus-26.1.2/` → `creativetoolkitplus-26.1.x/` to reflect the wider range.
### New version-prefix convention adopted
Going forward, jars use a single-letter prefix:
- **`a`** = alpha — incomplete, expect missing features and crashes.
- **`b`** = beta — feature-complete for the milestone, but unverified in real-world play.
- *(no prefix)* = stable — graduated from beta, considered safe for production servers.
This release sits at the very top of the alpha line.
---
## Highlights from `a2.0.0`
If you're new to Creative Toolkit+:
- Right-click any item with an enchanted book in Creative to apply its enchantments.
- `/ec menu` — vanilla-styled enchanting screen with strict compatibility checks.
- `/ec menu-op` — unrestricted enchanting screen (op-only); set any level on anything.
- `/ec` and `/creativetoolkitplus` command roots with subcommands `reload`, `menu`, `menu-op`.
- `/ec-menu` and `/ec-menu-op` shortcuts.
- All settings in `config/creativetoolkitplus.json`, hot-reloadable with `/ec reload`.

# Creative Toolkit+ `a2.0.0`
> Renamed from **Creative Enchant Book** to **Creative Toolkit+**, and ships **two new in-game enchanting screens** (`/ec menu` for vanilla rules, `/ec menu-op` for unrestricted) on top of the original right-click apply.
**For Minecraft 26.1.2 · Fabric · alpha**

## What's new
### Mod renamed: `Creative Enchant Book` → `Creative Toolkit+`
This is the start of a wider creative-mode toolkit; right-click apply is just the first feature. Identifiers, packages, asset paths, and the config file all moved:
- `mod_id`: `creativeenchantbook` → `creativetoolkitplus`
- Java package: `com.creativeenchantbook` → `com.creativetoolkitplus`
- Main entrypoint: `CreativeToolkitPlusMod`
- Client entrypoint: `CreativeToolkitPlusClient`
- Mixin config: `creativetoolkitplus.mixins.json`
- Assets dir: `assets/creativetoolkitplus/`
- Config file: `config/creativetoolkitplus.json`
> **Heads up:** your old `creativeenchantbook.json` is **not** auto-migrated — copy values across by hand if you were running v1.x.
### New commands
- **`/creativetoolkitplus`** (long-form root) and **`/ec`** (short alias).
- Subcommands: `reload`, `menu`, `menu-op`.
- **`/ec-menu`** — opens the vanilla-valid enchant screen.
- **`/ec-menu-op`** — opens the unrestricted enchant screen (op only).
### New in-game screen: `CtpEnchantScreen`
One input slot + a scrollable enchantment list with `−100 / −10 / −1 / +1 / +10 / +100 / X` buttons.
- **Vanilla mode** filters to `Enchantment#isSupportedItem(stack)`, respects max levels, and rejects conflicts on the server.
- **OP mode** lists every enchantment, lets you set any level up to `opMenuMaxLevel` (default 32,767), no compatibility checks.
### Server-authoritative networking
A new C2S payload `MenuSetEnchantPayload(syncId, enchantmentId, level)` carries each click. The server validates everything and writes the result; the client just requests.
### New config keys
- `opMenuMaxLevel` (int, default `32767`) — cap for the OP-menu spinner.
- `vanillaMenuRequiresOp` (bool, default `false`) — if true, `/ec-menu` becomes op-only too.
### What didn't change
- **Right-click apply behavior from v1.0 is preserved unchanged.** Drop a book on the cursor, right-click any item slot — same as before.
- All v1.x config keys (`creativeOnly`, `allowSurvival`, `allowUnsafeEnchantments`, `consumeBooks`, etc.) are preserved.
