## CPVPSingleBiome 1.2.19 This update significantly improves world management, standalone functionality, Multiverse-Core integration and world backup handling. ### New Features & Improvements **Automatic World Loading** - Plugin-created worlds are now saved in `worlds.yml`. - Worlds are automatically loaded after server restarts, even without Multiverse-Core. - Existing world data is preserved. - World management works independently of the arena reset configuration. **Multiverse-Core Integration** - Fixed world creation and registration with Multiverse-Core. - Existing standalone worlds can now be automatically imported into Multiverse-Core. - Improved compatibility when switching between standalone and Multiverse-managed worlds. - Multiverse-Core remains optional. **World Resets & Backups** - Improved backup support for both legacy and modern Paper world storage formats. - Backups are stored directly on the Minecraft server. - Backups are preserved if world recreation fails. - Improved backup retention settings: - `backup-old-worlds: true` — Enable world backups. - `delete-old-worlds-after-success: false` — Keep all backups. - `delete-old-worlds-after-success: true` — Keep the latest backup and remove older backups only after a successful reset. **Additional Changes** - Improved compatibility with newer Paper versions. - Updated configuration documentation. - Updated developer information to Norbert Bohnenkamp. - Removed references to the former development server. ### Compatibility **Successfully tested:** - Paper 1.21.11 - Paper 26.3 **Expected to work, but not individually verified with 1.2.19:** - Paper 26.1.x - Paper 26.2 Java 21 or newer is required for the plugin. The Minecraft server itself may require a newer Java version. Multiverse-Core and Chunky remain optional integrations. ### Updating Back up your worlds and configuration before updating. Existing configuration files are preserved. Review the updated backup settings, especially the new backup retention behavior. ### Purpur Compatibility – Community Testing Welcome CPVPSingleBiome is developed using the Paper API and may also work on Purpur servers. However, version 1.2.19 has not yet been tested on Purpur. **Running Purpur?** You're welcome to test the plugin and share your results! ## CPVPSingleBiome v1.2.16 Configuration cleanup update. ### Changed - Made the shipped reset timezone configuration neutral by default. - Changed the default reset timezone to use the server/JVM timezone when left empty. - Improved configuration comments to better explain behavior, safe ranges and PvP-friendly values. - Replaced server-specific default maintenance command examples with neutral example commands. - Changed the shipped fallback world example from `newspawn` to the standard `world`. ### Notes - This update mainly improves the default `config.yml`. - Existing servers can keep their current configuration. - No terrain generator changes were made in this release.

## CPVPSingleBiome v1.2.15 Safety update for the default reset configuration. ### Fixed * Disabled automatic scheduled resets by default in the shipped configuration. * Disabled automatic Chunky pregeneration by default in the shipped configuration. * Removed the hardcoded shipped `last-reset-date` runtime value from the default configuration. * Added safe initialization for empty or invalid `last-reset-date` values when automatic resets are enabled for the first time. * Prevented automatic resets from running immediately after a fresh installation or first enable. ### Notes * Existing servers keep their current configuration. * Fresh installations now start with automatic resets disabled for safety. * To enable scheduled resets, set `reset.enabled` to `true` and reload the plugin or restart the server. * When enabled for the first time, the plugin stores the current date as the scheduler start date and does not run an immediate reset.

## CPVPSingleBiome v1.2.14 Bugfix update for arena world resets. ### Fixed - Fixed reset handling for worlds that exist in Multiverse but are currently not loaded. - Reset now removes stale Multiverse world registry entries before recreating worlds. - Added a recovery attempt using `mv load <world>` if a recreated reset world remains unloaded. - Added Bukkit/Paper WorldCreator fallback for reset world creation if Multiverse is unavailable or does not load the world. ### Notes - Existing `config.yml` files can stay unchanged. - This update is recommended for servers using automatic or manual arena resets.
